  1. Come on guys ... keep coming ... you are getting the idea but you aren't looking at enough numbers yet. You need to know that the volume is a total of Cash and wires ... this relationship is going to give you so much more insight when compared against the total. Remember this is a mechanism of liquidity for the banks. To find it you must click on exchange rates ... here is today's See the last two columns on the right ... that's them ... add together to get total volume. Oh, this is where some get confused ... the three numbers on the right are X 1000 ... so 3,280 is actually 3.28M and in my book, the cash portion IS the most important component and % relationship of all of these numbers! Now ... you should see another problem ... 1168/1170 is the spread on the front page ... right? ... but what do you see here and what are you going to do with 1192/1170? Some of you will remember that there was a sales commission granted in-country (actually a tax of sorts) ... banks get some and the CBI gets some ... do some more research and you'll find the % and which gets what. Now 22 IQD ... yep ... $.0188034 ... not a huge chunk of change but do it times the volume and you start to see why it was implemented. I'm really proud of you guys ... really ... I haven't had much time lately to write anything and last week a newbie was displeased with me because I wasn't willing to spoon feed and coddle him as I told him to read read read ... I'm not anyone's Mom! ... go back ... way back if necessary and read my stuff. At one time or another all of the stuff on the CBI currency auction has been covered including alternative links and posts. As I was saying, you guys are trying to dig at the guts of this thing ... I applaud you. Now take it and cross it against spot oil and spot gold ... don't forget the zeroes/near zeroes (the cash portion ... it dropped drastically on Oct 7th and has never remotely gone to its previous levels). Get a feeling for the "perfect storm" ... you'll have a much better sense of when someone (including the GOI or the PM) are trying to pull a fast one over on us. When you've got it all together write down the significance of it and post it!!!!!! Peace to you all and nice job Doc31
  2. I don't mean to rain on your parade but this isn't about what you think that it is. For those of us who have been here a while ... we know that this article has been posted and reposted (and reposted again). This is about raising the reserves of the two weakest banks and getting them in-line with the others. DFI funds ... Paris Club debt repayment ... everyone seems to have forgotten them ... the clock started Jan1 ... no excuses ... it begins to get repaid in June Pres order 13303 ... unclear how not renewing would affect us ... it's a currency ... US budget ... extended twice ... does a third time ACTUALLY require declaring bankrupt? These are better topics ... still ... this article has nothing to do with an RI/RV Peace Doc31
  3. Good job Thor363 Everyone needs to stop and take a deep breath. Now go back and read the part in Ali's chat regarding IQD and how "the forums are making this much harder than it is" (or a reasonable facsimile thereof). The receipt to cash out came from Kuwait stories of Iraqis raiding the banks and hauling them off. The Kuwaiti's then required a proof to trade them for the new KWD. That's all. Folks ... you are not holding a certificate ... you are holding currency. Cash out, buy something with it, put it into an account somewhere that will allow you to open an account in IQD and hold a balance ... Why do you folks all freak out over IQD and make it so complicated? When you go to Europe and come home with EUROs or Mexico and come home with Pesos you don't freak out! Authenticate your IQD ... Thor363 put a link for you to learn how if you don't already know how. I wrote the article when everyone was talking about how much counterfeit IQD there was ... to date we've seen none ... even off ebay. All I wanted to do was give DV members a way to be sure and sleep at night. Assuming that because you bought it from a particular bank or vendor makes you "safe" is ridiculous! Assuming that because you have a certificate that says it is genuine is ridiculous! Assuming that for any other reason besides you authenticating it is ridiculous! Do you due diligence ... be certain ... sleep at night and wait for the clowns in Iraq to do what they are supposed to do. The only time that you might need a receipt should be IF this is classified as capital gains and you need to prove date of purchase (366 long term ... less short term) I don't think that this will be the case but we shall see. And IF you would need a receipt for this it would be required a YEAR later. Figure it out. 2011 taxes are due when? April 15, 2012! Would you include a receipt with your return ... nope! If the IRS were to do a general audit it would come months later (usually about 6) probably Sept or Oct of 2012 ... are you getting the picture? ... fine ... show them ... you ebayers ... paypal account receipt ... cashier's check ... credit card ... etc. are all things that would be acceptable ... provide the auction number in conjunction with the method of payment. For those of you deployed there and you got it from a vendor ... when were you deployed? ... or the base paymaster (can't recall the proper name but you get the idea). They won't be looking for a certified copy ... just a receipt! Everyone acts like IQD going throught the DeLaRue machine is some magical experience. It is the least sophisticated feature on the IQD. Now if it were screened via several of the IQD's top rated security features then you'd have something. It isn't a big deal. A DeLaRue machine is NOT required to authenticate IQD ... it would just take a long time without one. It takes me about 1 - 1.5 seconds to authenticate a bill. Please, please, please do this if you already haven't. Now ... relax! If someone has a counterfeit please contact me ... I did a poll and no one had to date. Peace Doc31
  4. I swear this article is about 1.5 - 2 years old! I'm sure the date is new ... almost positive the article is recycled.
  5. Down $20/M from $900
  6. Wordsmith No hi-jack and no apology necessary ... I think what happened is that you found out that there are some folks who would like to figure it out starting from another angle with you ... I think that is great ... even glad that you did it here. I started out by posting the CBI currency auction because no one wanted to and even less understood it ... lol. Let me encourage you to find something like it and post daily or as time allows ... you are a smart and well read/studied fellow ... people want to hear from you ... go get 'em cowboy. Rip some of what you've written here off the thread and get going. I know that in some instances you were striving for brevity ... I know that ... because even I couldn't connect all the dots. Expand your thoughts, ideas, suppositions ... all the best to you my friend. Just no "Sanka in a Dixie Cup"! ... alright? ... I'm still laughing over that (inside joke folks) Peace Doc31
  7. Currency Auctions Announcement No. (1856) The latest daily currency auction was held in the Central Bank of Iraq on the 16-MAR-2011. The results were as follows: DetailsNotesNumber of banks16 Auction price selling dinar / US$1170 Auction price buying dinar / US$----- Amount sold at auction price (US$)142,659,000 Amount purchased at Auction price (US$)----- Total offers for buying (US$)142,659,000 Total offers for selling (US$)----- Exchange rates Dollar's exchange rates / in Baghdad markets Oil up slightly after a nose-dive Gold up $6 ... I know you'll think I'm nuts when I tell you that it's running in a $50 channel ... none-the-less ... it is. Here ... ... now you're glad you're not a metals speculator ... right?! Zeroes ... near ... as the cash portion accounted for 2.259M or 1.58% of the 142.659M total with 16 banks participating I really don't have much to contribute this morning ... and I have very little time ... the only woman that my wife allows me to love intensely (other than her) is coming to see me ... (noooooooo ... she's the mother of my God-children ... I've had her as a patient since she was 14 y.o.a. ... 20 years ... you do the math ... she's happily married to my former "boots on the ground" in Iraq ... and I love him too ... he was stationed with and knows Chief V ... yep ... I can see that you are starting to get it now ... good) so this will be SHORT ... we'll have to see if it's SWEET as well! National Alliance nominated commander of the border and interior minister Vote on Minister of Defence A source reveals agreement on the nomination of the Iraqi tired Obeidi as defense minister Iraq runs still with no interior ministry Abbas Al-Bayati assures to Al Maliki's candidates for security ministries to the parliament on Thursday National Alliance Confirms Maliki’s Candidates to Provide Security Ministries to Parliament on Thursday Well it must be true about the defense/defence ministers ... it's reported 3 or 4 times today ... uh huh I've tried to tell you ... Allusi accuses Maliki of new dictatorship in Iraq ... perception is important ... just ask the Saudis, Tunisians, Libyans, Egyptians! Does it ever seem to you like third grade? ... MPs threaten to boycott parliament session protesting speaker’s restrictive measures Not as much finger pointing about who caused the civil unrest by not doing anything today. Not a bunch of Kurdish articles Not the same section "f" (of the paper) articles A little different tack in the news being released this morning ... can't quite put my finger on the right word for it though ... yet Well it isn't sweet ... but there it is. Have a great day Peace to all Doc31
  8. Nice job! Thanks for the posts Doc31
  9. Oil in a slump ... better at the pump ... but ...
  10. I do live on the coast ... bathtubs with water ... too funny! It wasn't you Drox ... I knew who it was ... just wasn't going to put his name on it. I just got this from a friend ... some of you may need it ... Peace Doc31
  11. Currency Auctions Announcement No. (1855) The latest daily currency auction was held in the Central Bank of Iraq on the 15-MAR-2011. The results were as follows: DetailsNotesNumber of banks23 Auction price selling dinar / US$1170 Auction price buying dinar / US$----- Amount sold at auction price (US$)177,319,000 Amount purchased at Auction price (US$)----- Total offers for buying (US$)177,319,000 Total offers for selling (US$)----- Exchange rates Dollar's exchange rates / in Baghdad markets Oil ... after a $2 gain yesterday ... it is off 3.3% Gold fell out of the sky with almost a $40 drop in about 15 hours Zeroes ... near ... the cash portion accounted for 1.969M on good volume ... oops ... I lost count of the number of banks again ... did you see that? ... 23 participated. It does seem to be following the low pattern early week followed by a still low but much higher than early week gulp that one of you suggested. For the last week I have been complaining about the section "F" (of a paper) quality news that the Iraqis are letting out ... yesterday, everyone and their mother called me and I told them that it was outhouse material. Sooooooooooooooooo ... I went to the dark side. Yep ... I ventured into the rumors section ... no I escaped unscathed. I went there though because I was so bored with what we were calling news (no reflection on our news-hounds ... they are golden ... they can only post what there is) that I was looking for a good rumor ... decided that I'd even settle for a decent rumor. As I perused the rumor section ... there was some flame throwers on full blast as usual ... but mostly I was struck by the desperation of the stuff! Conclusion ... they are in as bad a need for a good rumor as I was ... it was pitiful. Later in the evening a friend of a friend called and directed me to another site that I infrequently visit ... they were in the same shape, everyone looking for just a piece of good news ... the lead article was that Tony Blair, yes, former PM of Great Britain was the new head of the IMF, WTO, and WB all in one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now folks ... I guess that it's possible ... but it is not at all probable ... probably more likely that you will win the lottery two weeks in a row or something akin ... see my point ... and my brain saw this statistic instantly. Faithfully though ... don't you dare laugh ... I googled every combination of the PM and those organizations ... stop smiling ... I told you I needed a good rumor ... badly ... I was just doing my due diligence! The chat article went on to say that it was all over because now that he is in charge of them he'd wrap it up quickly. Now, I'm not saying that it can't happen ... but I am saying that I'd put this one on the back burner for a while (long while) until we get some corroboration ... stop smiling! I will tell you that I read the transcript of Frank26 KTFM and was concerned with the way that it was reported Ali responded to WHICH offices would be opened (although let me encourage you to read the chat) ... it came out that IF the IQD reached $10K/1M IQD ... I then re-read it on another chat where Ali appeared last night and it said WHEN the IQD reached $10K/1M IQD he would open up the other offices. I think you'll agree ... a much different story. Now, I'm not privy to Ali's exact meaning but if you read the KTFM chat you will see that Ali said he felt like he had thrown $200K down the drain regarding Iraqi bank set-up ... didn't want to throw another $200K at it without something coming of it ... said still pursuing but sounded like he was uncertain as to whether he'd hang in there. It's why I've always been suspicious of our rights and Warka ... just sayin'! Man, I'm Chatty Cathy this morning ... quick check of the coffee cup ... yep, it's empty! I had a phone call and to reorient myself I re-read Ali's responses ... all of us should read it again ... he says it's all simple but the forums have convinced everyone that it is more complicated than it is. Find the one where "Miss-Ann" is the moderator. While this one looks promising ... This week will nominate security ministers ... I know, right, like we haven't heard it before ... wait ... This one reminds us how serious they are about it ... Iraqi Parliament’s session convenes with 255 MPs present ... that's of 325 or 78% ... unbelievable! We're glad to hear this one ... Repairs in damaged oil pipeline completed ... I told you that I think they have three but 3 of 3 working is better than 2 of 3! There is a bunch of local news in the news. Wow ... it's taken more than a week but I have one for you conspiracy theorists ... Allawi meets with Lebanese designate PM ... just makes you want to go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm doesn't it?! That's all the time that I have ... I hope that I've brought at least a small smile to your face. Peace to all Doc31
  12. Gold $1427.23 ... running in a channel. Oil and gold are in place ... git er done!
  13. Well that didn't take long ... oil at $101.69 presently ... up more than $2 from this morning!
  14. Currency Auctions Announcement No. (1854) The latest daily currency auction was held in the Central Bank of Iraq on the 14-MAR-2011. The results were as follows: DetailsNotesNumber of banks 18 Auction price selling dinar / US$1170 Auction price buying dinar / US$----- Amount sold at auction price (US$)163,988,000 Amount purchased at Auction price (US$)----- Total offers for buying (US$)163,988,000 Total offers for selling (US$)----- Exchange rates Dollar's exchange rates / in Baghdad markets Oil just a bit off this morning Gold up about $7 from Fridays close Zeroes ... near ... as the cash portion accounted for 2.2M of the total ... said differently wires accounted for 98.65% of the total auction. Not much time today ... let's see what we've got ... you know I think I've neglected to give my friend LGraham "props" ... he seems to always post the articles that I need, have been looking for, the important stuff, etc. ... thanks my friend! Don't forget to hit the "+" for him whether you comment or not ... he is consistent with the "good stuff". And here it is posted by LGraham (yesterday) ... Iraq announces the end of Chapter 7 sanctions ... it reiterates the 3 things that have been named as the stumbling blocks all along 1) border disputes 2) where are the dead from the invasion 3) reparations including the 5% (forever?) ... just a side note ... if the Iraqis are pumping 2+M bpd at $100 then that is over $200M/day of which Kuwait is due $10M/day or $3.65B/yr you can see why they want all of this ironed out before the UNSC releases them from sanctions ... if all the "i's" aren't dotted and the "t's" aren't crossed they have no way to make the Iraqis honor the deal except petition back to the UN. IMO most or all of this has already been handled ... the UN basically told Kuwait last July or August to stop their "bitching" they had what they were going to get (the deal was already made) ... same components ... just stop wrangling for more. I'm not saying that some of this last month's holdup hasn't been about Kuwait ... I just think that the weighting here is less than we've been led to believe. Here's something that we didn't want nor expect to see ... Baghdad budget vote postponed ... so they are going backwards ... wasn't this already passed? Postpone the vote on the budget next Thursday to Baghdad ... now it's on for Thursday? Come on. This one sounds like Christmas for the people ... Laws of "interest to Iraqi citizens" to be passed. ... either that or al-Maliki has had the High Court name him Emperor ... perish the thought. Apparently they are trying to throw Allawi a bone for having kicked him to the curb ... Iraq State of Law calls to name Allawi as Arab League Secretary General USDA Sees Iraq Food Bill $4 Billion Over Government Estimate Looks like inflation is a bit more than Iraq thinks... I disagree with the sub-title ... it is more likely that they've just discovered another way to pull the lever on the "rigged slot machine" the US provided for them ... pull the arm ... out comes money ... EVERY time. My favorite ... Aziz: the presidency of the House of Representatives decided to continue the work of the Security Council next month ... why do today what you can push off until next month ... and next month ... and ... al-Maliki still trying to buy more time ... I wish I knew his end game ... better yet ... if we knew the puppeteers ... we'd know the end game ... Al-Maliki: A hundred days is not to complete all the work but to assess the work of officials and this one seeking advisory help to "get it right" ... please ... just quit stalling and do it ... Al-Maliki: We work to create all chances of success including the required expertise that could be the minister to seek the help of Maliki Dismisses Demand for Regime Change ... too funny ... he's dismissing the demand because they are a democratically elected government ... you do remember Allawi's party won ... right? ... pick a side ... Saddam Lite or democratically elected officials in a republic ... then stick with it! Wow ... on re-read ... a bit pissy if I do say so myself ... sorry ... yep, I had a cup of coffee ... I guess it is what it is. I looked all over for something for the conspiracy theorists ... other than the fact that the news since last Tuesday has been dead ... yesterday's was section "F" news (not important enough to be sooner in the paper) ... and that it was only fit for use in the outhouse... I don't see anything for you guys! Gotta run ... time's up Peace Doc31
  15. Vice in Iraq: next few days will pass laws of interest to the Iraqi citizens A member of the Iraqi List MP Hassan behind Jubouri that legislation coming days will witness a lot of laws that concern the Iraqi citizen. ورفض الجبوري في تصريح لوكالة انباء الرأي العام (وارع) التصريحات التي اعتبرت ان المقاطعات والخلافات بين الكتل السياسية ادت الى تأخر تشريع الكثير من القوانين في البرلمان . He declined Jubouri told news public opinion (and babysit) statements that they believed that the provinces and the differences between the political blocs led to a delay in legislation many of the laws in parliament. واضاف : ان مجلس النواب يحوي على 28 لجنة وكل واحدة منها لديها رزمة من القوانين وان كل قانون يحتاج الى مدة من الزمن لتشريعه . He added: The House of Representatives contains 28 of the Commission and every one of them has a package of laws and every law needs to be a period of time for the legislation. ن . إ He stressed: "These laws need to consult legal experts to pour out the laws worthy of this stage." He continued: The coming days will see the legislation a lot of important laws that concern the citizens of Iraq. "As regards security ministries said Jubouri that he does not have any forms to candidates security bags and next week will bring them within the parliamentary session for the purpose of voting on them. 16. Currency Auctions Announcement No. (1853) The latest daily currency auction was held in the Central Bank of Iraq on the 13-MAR-2011. The results were as follows: DetailsNotesNumber of banks15 Auction price selling dinar / US$1170 Auction price buying dinar / US$----- Amount sold at auction price (US$)156,042,000 Amount purchased at Auction price (US$)----- Total offers for buying (US$)156,042,000 Total offers for selling (US$)----- Exchange rates Dollar's exchange rates / in Baghdad markets Oil, Gold, Silver ... Friday's numbers Zeroes ... near as the cash portion amounted to only 330K on moderate volume and 15 of 22 banks participating. I'm going to do something a little different. Yesterday I clicked on a discussion on rates. Within a very short time the usual suspects had turned it into a pennies per dinar bash and a lopster-fest. I had clicked on it to see if anyone had anything new to consider with decent rationale … I quickly gave that up. My brain kept working on it though … soon I realized that while it is totally unscientific and corroboration is impossible … there’s a way that we might catch just a glimpse of the truth. When there are too many numbers I put things in a chart to be able to put my finger on the most likely resultant. When I thought about it … there were two numbers that we hadn't really explored (at least I've never seen it … perhaps some of you have). That is the supposed amount that individual IQD investors possess combined with that which our government is purported to have … all set against “W's” statement! There was an economist who guesstimated the number of individual IQD holders to be about ¾ of a million and that their average holdings were 2M each. Hardly news right?! Then our government is reported to have 3T, 3.5T, 5T, or 5.5T (depends on who you ask … Rudy has used 3 of the 4 at different times) … not news and definitely unsubstantiated … and reportedly tied in with “W's” reported claim that “this war will pay for itself”. R U w/me so far? Okay … I've seen no one take the numbers and see what rate it would take to pay for the war in Iraq … a reported, staggering $3T! Yes, I'm aware we have a moving target, unreliable numbers, an unclear tax rate, etc … but hey … no guts no glory. Now before anyone starts on me about fractional banking, total Iraqi money supply, M0, M1, M2, M3, or M4 … I got it … and it's NOT where I'm going … something just stuck in my head when this guy said something like he “didn't believe in fils regarding the Iraqi monetary system.” (fils are coinage … fractions of a dinar … how we make change for lower priced items). His point was that the IQD will come in so low that this won't happen. Well Brigadier General Hugh Tant who was in charge of operations and the hiring of the DeLaRue Corporation to print the IQD disagrees. Incidentally, we've all been rocked by the number of security features on the IQD, it's intricacies, and the fact that you would have to be a master paper-maker as well as a master counterfeiter to duplicate it. Listen to this … Iraq paid DeLaRue $.06 per note to print them up for them. I gotta' tell ya' … pros just make it look easy! … don't they? $.06! OK … back to my little chart and remember the disclaimer two paragraphs previous. I asked two questions: if RI/RV were to be low ($.10 - $.30) how would that benefit the US Treasury from personal taxes at same level of revaluation how many IQD does the UST need to cover the war expenses per “W's” statement After constructing the chart you'll see that I had to expand it from $.10 - $.30 (because that DOES NOT WORK … all in yellow) and I chose to use the most commonly believed rates. I used 34% for tax (the turquoise) … it's just a number if you don't like it set up your own spread sheet! … I used it because it renders a higher value if long term capital gains will actually be applied (very, very doubtful … and don't lecture me on what your CPA or tax attorney told you … no one agrees) … but it approximates the highest regular income tax rate and short term capital gains rate … so see what you think! Oh, read the notes below the chart … if the column header is bold it is in Trillions … Yep, $.10 -$.30 doesn't begin to cover the $3T debt … and while I don't consider $.86 a viable number (because it is a mathematical aberration $.000865 … and take off three zeroes … please! Yes, it could come in at $.86 but NOT from that nonsense) if you add the personal tax and the lowest supposed IQD that the UST possesses do you see a number that would begin to cover “W's” statement? All of that is in green. I just remembered that the apprentice president promised to pay down the national debt by 50% by 2013 … that would put it in the green area with a higher rate and higher IQD holdings … as well as the next higher rate but with a smaller amount of IQD (shown in red). Now if this didn't trip your trigger and you still adhere to the $.10-$.30 RI/RV … consider this … assuming the report that DeLaRue printed 27T IQD is true … you could buy the entire country for a mere $2.7T to $8.1T with what are reported to be the worlds second largest (only if you exclude the US with the largest oil reserves in the world … who consistently points a finger at Saudi Arabia as #1) oil reserves. Who currently pumps more than 2M bpd times $100/bl (currently) or $200M/day and climbing to an estimated $1.4B/day. Who wouldn't buy it up is the real question? Looking at the chart you can see that unless ALL countries holding IQD trade/have traded them for oil vouchers … everything … regardless of color … is absolutely impossible (without fractional participation/involvement)! And they do claim to have (at least) 75% back apparently via this avenue. Understand that this is a mathematical exercise not a treatise nor an attempt to arrive at an exact number … but to see if we couldn't add some credence to or for a particular range of rates. You tell me … I think that it speaks for itself. I know that I will have my detractors who will disagree for various reasons. Again read the disclaimer above. Personally, I believe … without being Dr. Sinan al-Shabibi's favorite son … that naming a rate is similar to herding cats or nailing jello to a tree … but that's just me! Headed to church. Peace Doc31
  17. Here it is ... remember that it was written in May of last year but the authentication process is the same. http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/18952-stop-relying-on-your-certificate-and-de-la-rue-machines/page__p__121105__fromsearch__1entry121105
  18. Why? That simply says that they ran it through a DeLaRue machine ... Ali at DT does the same, Dinar Banker, etc. You should have authenticated it yourself when you got it. My newbies all want one initially ... then they realize how silly it is ... Contact me if you need a link for authenticating it yourself ... it's quick and easy Oh, and the answer to your question to them is no. Peace Doc31
  19. Hey boys and girls ... anyone paying attention to oil? ... $101.13 presently Gold is up to $1420 as well.
  20. Yep it's Friday so no CBI auction ... I thought it worth posting the oil and metals though ... and here is why Obviously the Iraqis missed the wave that was set up for them ... Oil $106 ... Gold $1443+ ... Silver over $36.50 ... my ... my ... what a shame ... perfect waves don't come along often ... nice ones ... good ones ... but rarely perfect! The set up seemed surreal ... intel blocked (gag order??) ... news articles fit only to take to the out-house for ... well you get the picture ... al-Maliki actively trying to distract us so that we won't see Shabibi/the UST reps/CBI at work. More riots ... police and citizens killed. What a waste! As I typed this with only a half cup of coffee in me ... I realized that I was lightly humming the 1966 hit by the Mamas and the Papas ... "Monday, Monday" ... I chuckled and quickly switched to something only slightly more current ... the 1974 Jimmy Buffet hit "Come Monday" which seemed only right as it is more geographically appropriate for me. Still chuckling but remembering that they had missed another wave I began to go through the song list brought to us by other members here ... It's been Such A Long Time - Boston It's A Long Way There - Little River Band We Ain't Got Nothing Yet - Blues Magoos Celebration - Kool & The Gang Only The Strong Survive - Jerry Butler Sooner or Later - Grass Roots I Like Dreaming - Cliff Richards Fleetwood Mac - Little Lies Highway To Hell Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up Theme song from Beverly Hillbillies "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen "Wouldn't It Be Nice" Beach Boys "Daydream Believer" Monkeys "They're Coming to Take Me Away" Bangles "Manic Monday" Money-Pink Floyd Help-Beatles Wont Get Fooled Again-The Who Patience-Guns&Roses Can't Always Get What You Want-Stones The Boomtown Rats...I don't like Mondays. Randy Montana, "Tuesdays Gone" Calloway - I wanna be rich Annie Lennox - Why Livin' On a Prayer - Bon Jovi And with that I had laughed my way into a better mood ... I realize that I didn't address a single news article today ... I just wasn't in to it ... if I've wasted your time I apologize ... I needed some encouragement and I wanted to set the tone for the weekend with my wife. Light ... fun! My thanks to Kc7zzn for setting up the poll that elicited these great musical ideas for entitling our journey as well as all of you who contributed above ... you made me laugh! A dear friend of mine recently accused me of posting some things on only "Sanka in a Dixie Cup" ... (a nice way of saying ... I had "phoned a couple in") ... and perhaps that is what I've done here. But if you needed to be encouraged and laugh a bit after a rough non-productive week watching clowns ... and this made you smile ... even a little ... then my time wasn't wasted here. Live ... love ... laugh ... smile! Peace to you all and a great weekend! Doc31 PS After my post yesterday someone did transcribe and post Frank26 chat ... thanks to all responsible including KTFM, Frank26, staff/group/etc and whomever put in the time to transcribe. www.cbi.iq
