  1. Is there something in place that will keep someone, or group of people of targeting individuals just because they share a difrent oppinion, or they just dont like them and want to be malicious? A targeted person can rack up negatives very quickly if they are ganged up on by 10 15 people who go back and put a negative in each post they have done in the past 6 months.
  2. 1. A nuclear detonation, in the air, underwater, space, or underground will emitt radiation energy that can be detected by almost all civilized nations, and would be nearly impossable to hide. These sensors, which are aboard sataltes in space, are so sensitive, they can detect radiation sorurces at hospitals, 2. Believe it or not, nuclear weopons are traceable. Experts can tell by studying residual radiation from the area, the origin, and manufacure of the weopon. This would be political suicide on the world stage, for the US. ( regardless of who the target was) 3. Nukes are not cheap.... One must consider the rationality of expending a nuclear device, along with all the baggage that will go along with it, for a couple of terroists who decided to hole up in an underground bunker. 4. Nukes are a weopon of last last resort, only when there is absolutly no other option, period. They were built to never be used. There is no reason, or justification of using a nuke, when US forces clearly demenstated their ability to land marines, or seals anywhere they wanted in those countries, including tora bora. There is no place in iraq, or ganastan that cant be targeted by conventinal weopons. One exeption to this will be irans nuclear facilities. .... If israel or us ever decide to take them out, nukes will be used to enshure total and complete destruction.
  3. I totally agree, but unfortunately utterly impossible to do. First, I like my Porsche. Second, the total proven reoverable oil reserves stand at around 20-30 billion barrels in the us. If we were to go 100% on our own at our current 19,000,000 bb/day proven reserves would run out in about 5 years or so. Then what? Shure we find oil fields all the time, but we are using more at a faster rate than we find. Shure we have shale oil, but it's not good for gasoline or jet fuel. And it is triple the cost to process it. Then if we do find the motherload it would take decades to get it producing. We don't have that kind of time.
  4. No you can't...... As fcked as it sounds. It is cheaper to import oil from a country 9000 miles away than it is to get it from our own back yard. Tree hugging hippy enviromenelists aside, one of the main reasons it is so, is we don't have the pipeline transportation infrastructure to move the massive quantities we would require to the oil refineries. The process that is necessary to get the oil out of the shell is alot more expensive, and is not the grade of oil for gasoline, but used more for heating oil, and other petroleum based products. Wow, what an hour watching discovery channel can teach you.
  5. Hello, I have a million iqd just sitting in my warka account. I'm aware, that when the iqd redenominates all notes and electronic money will also be redenominated. Will the isx stock values also be loped? Will my money value in stocks also be redenominated? If not, I'm thinking on moving it into the stock exchange, as I remember Adam saying at one time that the people who invest in the stock exchange will be the real winners.
  6. these clowns have made a living lining their pockets with billions of dinars in bribes. they are rich by iraqi standards. they could care less about the rest of the people. they are not going to vote for some measure that will basicaly negate all the seedy deals they have done. another thing that no one emphasises, is that during redenominations, limits are usualy put in place to negate speculators, money launderes, and other crooks. im prety shure these aholes dont want to explain why they have 10x more money than their jobs pay. i would vote it down too.
  7. thats not necisarily true. there are several senerioes that are absolutly a lot worse than breaking even. 1. iraq breaks down into a propetual civil war for the next decade or so. 2. the iraqis can decide to RD and not honer any outside dinars. and going to iraq to cash them in could not be worth the effort. 3 the iraqis could limit the amount a person can cash in. N.Korea limited the amount a person could exchange, when it RD d last year. im not saying they will, but it is possable.
  8. im not quiting yet, but when i do im quiting big... im a night stocker at a local grocery. the day im rich, im gonna go in, and clear bare like our 5 heaviest isles and dump them in shopping carts and roll them all into the back. and as the morning cashiers stockers and managers arive and spend an hour figuring where in the hell everything went, im gonna run up to a register and over the interom say " IM RICH! IM RICH BI@CH" "F YOU, F YOU, F YOU, YOUR COOL, AND F YOU" then im gonna run out the store yelling and sreaming like a lunitic, never to be seen by them again.
  9. i hope there will be someone at the bank to cash in too right...lol.
  10. i think the world would sleep a little better if sadr and his army was put on a leash. but, you are probly right...the un would have to step in. at that point, would you think they may seperate the factions into kurdish sunny and shite self governed regions, kind of how the kurds are now, and then have a weaker unifying central govt.
  11. ok, they cant think the zeros to disiapear, they gotta do something........... so iraq, do something.
