LINDA, so sorry to hear that you are in the hospital. i've always noticed that you are always kind, calm, appreciative and positive with all your encounters here. I can't imagine you having anything but a serene and loving heart. Hope you recover completely and get well soon. I know you're already dealing w/back problems as well. Scooter, more often than not, does a lot of just drop-ins or drive-by's as he calls them. I always see someone ask him first tho if he wants that particular chat posted. he usually responds, "no, this is just a drop-in saying hi." so, he may have just assumed that since no one asked if he wanted it posted, it wasn't going to be. yes, you're right - this was just a no content friendly visit from Scooter and nothing noteworthy to have warranted it being posted.

how do i get access to the book forum. when i click on it, it says not access unless you've bought the book. yes, i purchased the first edition and as far as i know, have received the last update of 1.4 (?)

not sure why you would have to modify this. the title of Judge Judy's bestseller book years ago was entitled " Don't Pee on My Leg and Tell Me It's Raining" which she also attributed to coming from her father growing up. I've heard her use it several times on TV in her courtroom as well. her follow up book was entitled , "Beauty Fades but Dumb is Forever." another good one.

My apologies if my post was one of the ones you're referring to as insulting to the OP. My point really is that this is an unfair request of Adam as he's aware that a lot of us recently joined up based on Adam's adamant "join now or never because after the RV it will be too late" offer. I know this is what pushed me to join based on wanting to be a part of VIP in time to be able to partake of the VIP strategy discussions regarding investing were it to RV this weekend or shortly afterwards based on the current indicators. One could rightfully say that it comes down to a matter of integrity that the OP is asking Adam to compromise now in his behalf. Adam's a smart guy and I'm sure he thought out his "final offer" campaign taking into full consideration the prior posts on this forum (i'm talking about the ones on other threads prior to this OP thread) regarding their inability to afford the $10 monthly VIP fee. (sounds like he may even be in agreement w/those of us who feel $10 is not really the issue.)

Adam should keep his word (in print) re: join VIP now or never and that it will be too late to join after the RV. I, personally, would feel duped and disrespected if he changed his mind now as well as his word would lose all credibility if he changed it after being so adamant about it now. Sorry, but $10 a month really will not break anyone's bank while awaiting the RV. It really comes down to choices and priorities. Everyone purchasing the gamble of dinar obviously has some discretionary income each month. Just my .02.

Adam - it's still showing banned even after clearing cache. i can access on another computer but not this main one i always use. (and no one else uses this computer but me.)

sorry - was not "busting your balls" by stating facts and wanting you there to make sense of the chaos going on. knew if you would show up then the room would be put in mod status and quieted down and things explained. no one ever answered me anyway - i was just thinking out loud. again, body language is lacking cause i really was nervously laughing about it all. sorry, if you're taking it personally cause it's not meant that way. again, no mod ever said anything to me at all. i would have known then that my comments were being taken wrong and to knock it off. i see this all the time and the mods usually just laugh back themselves. i guess it was the wrong time for nervous humor on my part. sorry.

i also was banned during last night's debacle. we were told by sonny to make sure we were on at 7:20 CT last night to hear his "HUGE news!" when i went back a little late, apparently he'd already posted that he was only going to post it in the VIP room. the chat was going nuts and was very chaotic. i was seeing old-time posters saying things again and again about it - with no warning from the mods. i was actually laughing about it all and wrote, "sonny should be banned or at least slapped for causing this chaos!" and a little later, a poster actually responded with the little "slap" sound to sonny. and then BAM!! i'm banned! and still am over 13 hours later! no warning whatsoever given like i've seen time and time given to everyone else if they cross a line. i was also on long enough to see that lots of people were complaining about sonny's change of heart and the mods weren't giving any warnings to knock off the complaining. imo- everyone had a right to vent under those circumstances. i did buy adam's book (which i thought was informative) and i was considering the VIP room. but as of yet, i've received no PM from a mod telling me exactly why i was banned nor for how long. and i'm also blocked from sending a PM to any mod. i don't belong to any other dinar chat forum and only came to this one a couple of weeks ago for the first time to see what the latest buzz on the dinar was. i have held my dinar for 5 years now. anyway, can someone please PM me as to what my situation is re:my being banned?

thanks everyone for the info. some of it is helpful and i will check further. clarification for my initial question in my OP: what i have found is none of the aforementioned major banks (boa, wells fargo, chase) in my city even have the dinar on hand to sell. there are a couple that will sell you dinar but they have to order it for you and you need to have an account with them first. these are all main downtown large building banks i am dealing with and not their outlying branches within the city limits. also, it's my understanding that there are various delarue machines w/varying capabilities so, you need to find out if theirs actually counts and checks dinar and not just usd's. i'm mainly interested NOW in finding a bank (prior to the RV event) with a delarue machine that actually is for dinar so i can already have an account set up there and not be scrambling around the last minute. obviously, since these same major name brand banks in my city do not sell dinar outright and never have - they do not have such a machine in their possession. and as far as ali opening in waxahachie - everyone here keeps talking about how he will be charging far more than a bank for his services and therefore, are not planning on using him. thanks teamwrath09 for your very specific info. that is what's helpful. if the rest of you can actually furnish the specifics on your suggestions - that would be greatly appreciated as well. thanks again everyone.
