Here is the difference I think... If you happen to be an active participant in something serious or traumatic, it to me is different because You are there in real life as it is happening...and if you are there then your response is going to be different then when your not. If you are there then it is real to you and we take action accordingly. But if its coming from any form of propaganda then we should see it as a false appearance. Not because we are heartless but because it seems pointless to direct energy to a known deceptive practice such as is the "NEWS". flippant is a great word, a powerful spell that im not under. i simply choose not to believe. Now the other day, i drove upon a car crash and was there before the police and emergency personnel were...i slowed down to 1 mph trying to take it all in...black smoke was the first thing i saw everywhere, then i saw someone helping a man out of a black dodge charger whos engine was ablaze...my windows rolled down cuz im trying to figure out whats happening, then I hear the wailing of a woman, and I immediately burst to tears cuz i knew she had lost something. I couldn't see her but i KNEW... my body was shaking cuz it was so primal. so real. I told my daughter we have to stop and pray cuz i couldn't do anything else in that moment. as i pulled forward to get out of the way off to the side i saw a clearing through the fence and i saw a truck like 50 yards rolled on its side in the pasture, a dead man laying on the ground with his two older kids at his head standing and the mother holding a baby and absolutely LOST in GRIEF. Grieving and calling out with no words but screaming in horror. So is it real. Yes. And the only power i had was prayer. Which is all any of us have. Recognizing God in every situation. A divine appointment is in every moment. So do i focus on the kids and mother losing a father and a husband, or do i wrap it in prayer everytime it crosses my mind. Fear does nothing but take energy. Prayer amplifies energy. So i will choose to pray in every bull shiite moment that exist, which are endless. NO MORE FEAR PORN. Those kids have an appointment that mother has an appointment, we all do, we can't feel sorry for each the other. we got to pray instead.

Not only do i want to assume the opposite of fear porn , i let the negative pass through me without holding on to it... and you can only do that if your not "gripped" by the sensation of it.

This reminds me of an argument with a friend of mine. He was calling me Self Righteous, and I considered what he was saying and ultimately determined that we better be Self Righting, all along the way!! How else are we supposed to upgrade our awareness if we are not focused on the Truth Of Gods Will. The answer is not found OUTSIDE of us. It is found WITHIN us.
