He's been saying this for years and yet, even though there HAS been very significant growth in the Iraqi economy over all of these many years, there has been absolutely NO CHANGE in the value of its currency. I think it is time for CRAPeroni to find a new verse to this old song. Just my 2 cents worth.

When I first got into this investment 15 years ago, I thought that it seemed too good to be true, but IF it did happen, I wanted to be in on it. So, I invested just enough so to not be sorry if it didn't happen, but enough to be pleased if it DID happen. I still feel that the situation in Iraq certainly makes the IQD worth much more than it is BUT (and that is a giant BUT)...... But I feel that since it has been so long now, I seriously think that Iraq is satisfied keeping it just as it is. Having said this, I will still hold on to these pretty pieces of paper that are almost worthless and probably take them to my grave.It was and still is a good oportunity, but as I stated, I don't think Iraq really cares whether or not their currency increases.

I will give you a short answer to this question – maybe ...the Vietnam war has been over for about 50 years and still they have their downgraded currency and larger three zero notes. Maybe it’s time to bring them to the standard of the western currency? We can see there is no hurry to change these notes, at least not what they are saying. We do also see a higher VND rate (.47 – $2.00) in the QFS staged to go at some point. So, something is up. This is a good sign. Mtn Goat shouldn't compare Viet Nam to the Iraq situation....... The last that I checked, Viet Nam doesn't export very much oil, or gold or other natural resources which Iraq posseses.

We are so used to him showing up on the Chat thread that it is easy to miss him on any other spots. Most , or many, of us don't check all of the sections of DV, so we don't find his occasional post. Somehow I just can't get excited of these over-used exciting news announcements. Aftrer about a week of the hype........... Guess what????? No text from Adam. Then about 6 months to a year passes and the hype starts all over again...... Sound familiar ???? Has ANYONE taken the bait and gone and purchased MORE Dinar? I hope not. Just keep what you have (and can afford to lose). I am not intending to be a downer, just a reality guy. BUT, WE ARE CLOSER THAN WE HAVE EVER BEEN BEFORE !!!!

There have been NUMEROUS times in the past where we were told "IT'S DONE" and every time there were no change. This just seems to me like all of those other times....... in other words, don't get too excited until you see it in Adam's text. Just sayin' !

You've got that right, Sage. Oft times I havE told myself to give it up and just wait for the Adam text....... but at 83 (84 in October), I kinda' look at this as some sort of entertainment. Will I ever see the end of this ride ? I don't know. But it seems like it has been a life-long ride. I just hope that it isn't a life ENDING ride ! It HAS been an "ending" ride for too many of this Dinar Vet family, but we can't expect ALL of our dreams to come true. Maybe I will see this end or maybe I won't. I think, at least I thought, back when we all bought our dinar, there was that little voice in the back of our head saying that this was too good to be true...... RIGHT ? But we told that voice , Hey, that might be true, but if it DID happen, then I wouldn't want to feel that I missed the boat........ So, we invested what we could afford to lose. Well, that was so long ago (for me) that if it is only 3 times my investment, well in good. "IT IS WHAT IT IS". I took a shot at a dream !

Don't get TOO excited about the "MAJR LEAGUE CREDIT". It is very possible that they will drop the 3 zeros THEN revalue.....And if it is i:1, we break even. And if it RVs at $3.21, then we'll triple our investment. A few years back (when Adam was having his weekly Q&A) I posed this question to him and he said that it could be a very real possibility.

Does anyone here doubt that we will be sitting at our Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner tables STILL praying that we will, SOMEDAY, be able to cash in our Dinars ......................... regardless of what these jerks say ?
