  1. I ain't blind and I don't like what I think I see....
  2. And yet there are still people allowing themselves to be played like a Stradivarius, and worse yet, they seem to enjoy it. The author refers to it as the “uniparty”, but I call them polyticks. Either way it is nothing but the establishment swamp trying to take down a duly elected non-swamp creature. RV ME A vast conspiracy of silence kept the ‘Russia collusion’ story alive By Thomas Lifson American democracy has been corrupted, and if not cured, the disease will be fatal. There is no other conclusion to be drawn when the public is deceived on the scale that was revealed (but ignored) by James Comey. The stunning truth is that the American political and media establishment allowed a phony story – that they knew was phony -- to dominate our political discourse for months. When James Comey testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee last week, he revealed that he had informed many important Congressional leaders that there was no investigation of President Trump and the Russians underway, even as MSNBC, CNN, The New York Times, and the Washington Post daily carried stories alluding to an imaginary investigation. None of these informed leaders spoke out! They allowed a make-believe tale intended to harm the legitimacy and therefore political power of President Trump to dominate mindshare in the nation’s collective political conversation. Sundance of Conservative Treehouse adds up the names and numbers of Congressional leaders who were briefed by Comey, according to his testimony. Consider the vast uniparty conspiracy that permitted a national obsession over a malicious fantasy, originally spun by John Podesta and Team Hildabeast in the immediate aftermath of her election loss. FBI Director Comey told President-elect Trump on January 6th he was not under investigation; Comey again told President Trump on January 27th he was not under investigation; and again on February 15th Director Comey told President Trump he was not under investigation. However, more importantly, James Comey also admitted he told congressional leadership the exact same thing, repeatedly. Specifically, James Comey stated he informed: •Paul Ryan, •Nancy Pelosi, •Mitch McConnell, •Chuck Schumer, •Devin Nunes, •Adam Schiff, •Richard Burr, •Dianne Feinstein and •Mark Warner. James Comey personally told Republican and Democrat leadership, and both the Senate and House intelligence committees, that President Trump was not under investigation. (snip) To add to that list, James Comey said he briefed each of the intelligence committees that President Trump was never under investigation. Do you realize how many people that is? Mike Conaway (11th District of Texas), Peter King (2nd District of New York), Frank LoBiondo (2nd District of New Jersey), Tom Rooney (17th District of Florida), Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (27th District of Florida), Michael Turner (10th District of Ohio), Brad Wenstrup (2nd District of Ohio), Chris Stewart (2nd District of Utah), Rick Crawford (1st District of Arkansas), Trey Gowdy (4th District of South Carolina), Elise Stefanik (21st District of New York), Will Hurd (23rd District of Texas), Adam Schiff, Ranking Member (28th District of California), Jim Himes (4th District of Connecticut), Terri Sewell (7th District of Alabama), Andre Carson (7th District of Indiana), Jackie Speier (14th District of California), Mike Quigley (5th District of Illinois), Eric Swalwell (15th District of California), Joaquin Castro (20th District of Texas), Denny Heck (10th District of Washington), James Risch (Idaho), Marco Rubio (Florida), Susan Collins (Maine), Roy Blunt (Missouri), James Lankford (Oklahoma), Tom Cotton (Arkansas), John Cornyn (Texas), Dianne Feinstein (California), Ron Wyden (Oregon), Martin Heinrich (New Mexico), Angus King (Maine), Joe Manchin (West Virginia), Kamala Harris (California) … All of them knew President Trump was not under investigation. That also means that all of their key aides, staffers who assist each of the aforementioned politicians – and sit in on intelligence briefings, knew President Trump was not under investigation. That network extends downstream to thousands of people on capitol hill, and everyone surrounding the White House, and everyone in key legislative contact, and they all knew President Trump was never under investigation. There was only one person Sundance could find who violated the de facto vow of omerta: Other than one obtuse statement from what was apparently a frustrated Senator Chuck Grassley, the entire DC system kept a lid on the truth that President Trump was not ever under investigation. Let me translate: The American people were played as patsies, their attention diverted to a fantasy that had -- and still has -- no evidence whatsoever of its existence. That fantasy was propounded for political reasons, and used to subvert the outcome of a democratic election. And except for Senator Grassley, the entire roster of congressional establishment held its tongues. Sundance closes with a chart that ought to be kept in mind always, when we think about concepts like the deep state, the political establishment, and the ruling elite: For all his faults, Donald Trump is fighting against this corrupt collectivity that dominates our politics. That is preisely why this fantasy tale was created, constantly discussed, and tolerated by those who knew better. The American people must decide which side will prevail. http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2017/06/a_vast_conspiracy_of_silence_kept_the_russia_collusion_story_alive.html#ixzz4jj6ubXdb

  7. Apparently for all those pinning their hopes on the Russians hacking the election, it was acceptable for Obummer to try hacking into various State systems before the election. If hypocrisy was helium there would be a lot of people talking funny, and a few on the left would just up and float away. RV ME Indiana Joins Idaho, Georgia in DHS Election Hack Claims Vice President Mike Pence’s home state of Indiana joined Idaho and Georgia this week in accusing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of hacking their electoral system. It’s the latest case where IT experts confirmed a scanning assault on a state’s election systems that leads back to a DHS IP address. “Scans” are attacks used to test the security of a network, the electronic equivalent of “rattling doorknobs” to see if they’re unlocked. DHS officials scanned Indiana’s electoral systems thousands of times over a period of 46 days beginning while Mike Pence was still the governor of Indiana. “We know that between Nov. 1 and Dec. 16, we were scanned with about 14,800 scans, nearly 15,000 different times,” DHS Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson told The Daily Caller. Under DHS rules, federal officials are barred from attempting to penetrate a state system without the state’s permission, which neither Georgia nor Indiana gave. IT director for the Indiana secretary of state Thomas Vessely told The Daily Caller that “we kindly declined [DHS] assistance because we were very comfortable in the work we were doing in monitoring our election system.” In Idaho, Secretary of State Lawerence Denney said that his state had detected attempts to hack the state’s election system on Nov. 8, 2016. Denney said that when they “looked at IP addresses that tried to get into our system,” there wasn’t “a single IP address from a foreign country,” such as Russia, but one from “our own Department of Homeland Security,” Computerworld reported. “I don’t know what they [DHS] penetrated, or what they tried,” Denney told the Post Register, “I just know their IP address showed up as hitting our website. I don’t know what they were doing. It would have been nice if they had told us.” Denny said that secretaries of state across the country are really concerned about what the election system designation of critical infrastructure will mean in the long run. In January, Georgia’s Office of Inspector General for the Department of Human Services launched an official investigation into 10 attempts by the DHS to breach their election systems. The state of Georgia said it had already declined an offer from the DHS to help with their election systems. Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp said he believed the scans were intimidation tactics used by the DHS ahead of declaring local and state election systems as federal “critical infrastructure” on Jan. 6. Kemp had previously clashed with then DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson, describing the action as a “political power play to federalize elections.” Johnson sparked uproar among state-level secretaries of state—both democrats and republicans—when he announced he was unilaterally issuing the designation just two weeks before leaving office. All 50 state-level secretaries of state have urged the Trump administration to repeal the eleventh-hour DHS directive. http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/2226480-indiana-joins-idaho-georgia-in-dhs-election-hack-claims/

  9. Quite the ramble, too bad it made no sense. I am from Kansas, and it is known as the “flat plains”, so you did get something almost right calling me a flat lander, but the rest of your diatribe was not up to your normal snuff. Since you rarely demonstrate the ability to think for yourself, I seriously doubt you are capable of thinking for the both of us. You do demonstrate the SOP of true believers though, name calling, denigrating, and refusal to discuss facts just to name a few. I especially like the way you attempt to pre-emptily remove a point of discussion that true believers cannot discuss, that being the climate has changed slowly and radically over the eons without any influence from man. Once again, you should have taken your advice to me and thought your response through, or perhaps you did and this feeble attempt at character assassination this is the best defense you have. Your (made up number of) 98% of the scientific high priests of the AGW Church who perpetuate the fraud have no response when asked simple questions like “What caused the glaciers in the first place?” What caused them to repeatedly receded and expand before the industrial age?” Your Big Brain Brad Mensa-like response to these questions are (and I directly quote from above) “Due to the irresponsible abuse to our atmosphere by bottom line industrialists throughout the world, the climate slowly changes…”. So tell me true believer, what caused all climate changes before the industrial revolution? Or are you saying there was no climate change before man polluted the earth? Now that I think about it, you remind me more of Fredo claiming to be smart while demonstrating the opposite, than Big Brain Brad. Unlike other subjects where you state you must defer to the powers that be to tell you what to think you seem to have this subject all figured out. You couldn’t render an opinion on whether Hildabeast broke the law because you are not a lawyer. You could not render an opinion on the 9th Circus disregarding the law on the immigration ruling because you are not a judge. Since you have no problem opining on the subject of man made global warming I guess you are secretly an environmental scientist, who knew, I thought you were a surveyor working for Family Feud or something. Since you do worship at the Church of AGW, can you tell me if your congregation has ever admitted to the fraud exposed by the East Anglia email hack? Or have the high priests come up with a lame excuse as to why the fraud exposed should be ignored? I would love to have an actual debate / discussion of the facts with a true believer, but since it seems to be forbidden by the Church, I will have to settle with pointing out how flawed and bereft of fact and thought the typical true believers arguments are. Thanks for proving the point, and keep in mind that when you respond you are directly impacting the environment negatively because of all the pollution generated to make the computer you are using, produce the energy needed, cable and power lines, and the list goes on and on. Not the least of which would be the act of respiration. Why it is that none of the true believer hypocrites will do their part to help and just stop breathing?
  10. I know you mean well Shabs, but please try to keep your crisis straight. You keep confusing the “pollution” crisis with the global warming errrr “climate change” crisis. A plastic bag in the ocean is pollution, but to the true believers, the simple act of breathing is considered pollution enough to destroy the planet. And of course, the only way to remedy the situation is to send trillions of dollars to Brussels. Since you are worshiping at the climate change church, perhaps you should do your part to elievate the problem and put your belief where your mouth is and STFU. After all, every word you speak requires the exhalation of CO2, and for true believers that is the pollutant du jour that is destroying the planet. (Just kidding about that STFU comment, we both know that would be impossible ).
  11. I concur with Arvay’s conclusion. RV ME A Parliament Of Whores And Thieves By Robert Arvay Not to pick on Janet Napolitano, but I wrote about her recently on this site, after she was caught squirreling away taxpayer money in a hidden fund, using it to reward her bureaucratic allies, while at the same time, she was asking the state of California for even more taxpayer money, for the University of California, which she heads. Now she's back in the news, with a closely related scandal. Quoting from the news article (emphasis added), "The San Francisco Chronicle reported Sunday that UC President Janet Napolitano 's office reimbursed regents for more than $225,000 in dinner parties since 2012, including $17,600 for a banquet held the night before the board voted to raise tuition." The article is a follow-up to a previous one in which, after having been publicly caught with their bibs down, the connoisseurs of catered $250 meals decided to tone it down a bit. That previous article contains an account of the decision, and if you believe it, I have a bridge in Oakland Bay I'd like to sell you. "Longtime regent Richard Blum, a wealthy financier ... said the policy change was his idea. ... 'I said, Janet [Napolitano], it's not worth the aggravation. Let's have the Regents pay for their own dinners.'" Oh, let's (sarcasm). Turn on the lights, and the cockroaches scurry for cover. The problem is that the California Board of Regents is but one small nest in a horde of cockroaches that remain hidden behind the impenetrable walls of government at every level. Why do Americans put up with the pickpockets and strong-arm robbers who gut our economy and steal our quality of life, while living lives of luxury? The answer is to be found in one of our earliest founding documents, the Declaration of Independence. [A]ll experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. It's true. We put up with a lot. Many evils are, indeed, sufferable, at least for a time. But there comes a time when, as the Declaration makes clear, it becomes our duty to throw off an abusive government, and to replace it with one that better serves the public. We would, of course, prefer to do so by elections. The 2016 election was the most recent instance of a popular outcry by the voters. Were we heard this time? Maybe. Let's give President Trump a fair chance to keep his campaign promises. Thus far, however, the Swamp is displaying absolute determination and resourcefulness in refusing to be drained. It remains to be seen who will win this epic battle. If it is the swamp that wins, instead of us, then the next phase of our outcry will be yet another declaration of independence, complete with our duty to remove and replace not just Obamacare, but the whole rotten establishment. http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2017/05/a_parliament_of_whores_and_thieves.html
  12. Sorry BA, but if you believed that Obamacare was ever about being Affordable or about Care, then sadly you were the one who was duped by the Act. The only thing the Republicans did to dupe us was to not repeal it when Trump was elected.
  13. Actually, this is journalism, it is just an example of opinion / information journalism as opposed to news reporting journalism. Journalism is the activity of gathering, assessing, creating, and presenting news and information. It is also the product of these activities. https://www.americanpressinstitute.org/journalism-essentials/what-is-journalism/ So rather than merely dismiss the opinion piece (loaded with facts and examples to support said opinion) as “non-journalism”, show you can read, comprehend, and then rebut the facts given or the opinion rendered. Speaking of comprehension, do you not understand that I specifically draw no distinction between the Democrats and Republican Polyticks? That I agree with you 100% that the two / one party is leading us down the road to ruin? You correctly state that Trump is not conservative, but fail to recognize that he is also not a Republican. Time will tell what the long term effect (if any) this election will have regarding the future of America. You can either wallow in the mire of what polyticks has become, or get behind and support the one person trying to change the status quo. Unfortunately it appears that you are heavily rooting for the status quo. Based on the praise you have bestowed on progressives in the past, I am surprised you have not immigrated to Canada by now.
  14. May God bless those that gave their all, and the loved ones they left behind.
  15. Obviously not all politicians are corrupt, did you miss the memo that the Obummer administration was a scandal free administration. Not a smidgen of corruption, straight from the (corrupt) One’s lips. I guess that is why Obummer ranks so high in your view, while most of us just think he was rank. What I do not comprehend is that you rail on the two/one party system of government we have and yet you ignore the fact that Trump is not part of either of these parties. He is the only “outsider” ever elected, and was elected because a majority of We The People agreed with you in that they were tired of all the two/one party political talking heads, and voted for change. As I said before, you seem to revel in every leak to the liberal fake news media from the two/one party imbeds that undermines the elected President. Do you not understand these leaks are the two/one party system fighting against the one person that wants to end the status quo?
