  1. My cousin is there they evacuated there place 2 hours ago
  2. Well I'm of the mind that until without a doubt science can prove that the galaxy space etc was created by one thing be it god or stars exploding but the catch would be the stars came from somewhere right maybe the Greeks had it right maybe the Christians have it right etc that there god created space and from there we evolved I'm going to live my life day to day and try and be grateful for the time I have on earth with my friends and family and not spend time praying to god or Vishnu or yahweh or odin I feel that's time wasted but the irony is I'm wasting time thinking about it and maybe that's all god if there is one wants is for people to think about it and form there own conclusion or beliefs morally or otherwise but like u black I don't think wars should be waged over who's god is the one true god or people on this forum to belittle another for there nonbelief or difference in beliefs
  3. Black swan I was wondering what u believe personally about religion and its place in society not just Christianity I personally don't believe in anything other than my family and friends and what I do for them and myself on a daily basis my thoughts on religion as a whole is that primitive religions or ancient ones usually were polytheistic as opposed to monotheistic because people of the time didn't consider the creation of earth itself rather they prayed for rain or a good hunt or victory in battle and when people started to live in larger groups and started to form opinions and debate there own existence they reasoned that a singular god in control of everything would be easier to tell in stories and easier for larger groups to follow or govern themselves I had once seen a video of the creation of monotheism from before Egypt to present day but can't remember the name of it I'm by no means great at spelling or as well versed in religion as you or others here but I stopped going to ccd when I was seven because I didn't see the point in praying to something I couldn't see or prove to be real I've read about different religions throughout school and most to me seemed to basically want people to be morally good
  4. There we go scrum Jon reposts an excerpt from first link in thread that states fact about ur beloved Paul and u go to insults I guess it will be my turn next or u will just have to start a new thread full of you tube videos about conspiracies and the evil banks or how Obama and romney are owned by jp Morgan keep beating that dead horse fact is Ron Paul collected a congressional paycheck for 24 plus years with nothing to show for it but I'm sure when 10% that's being generous write his name in the USA will be better for it
  5. All I have to say on this thread so far is this if Jesus kept silent and Paul kept silent because they knew there god was a fair and just god and that Satan uses the bible to deceive people and god only is a creator of man and it takes faith and letting god or Jesus into your heart to see there plan etc... Then why markinsa do u feel the need to defend an all knowing divine individual if u want to believe in god or Jesus or both then u shouldn't have to give black swan such a hard time if she does chose to drink spend money etc.. and end up in hell that's her choice I guess she could just ask for forgiveness for her sins on her death bed or repent at a later date maybe say a few hail marys or our fathers or like in the dark ages pay for her sins to the church and get right into heaven if Christianity or better catholicism is so great it must be the devils hand that makes priests sleep with alter boys or order the jesuits to kill or the knights templar to rape and pillage or the Vatican to burn Martin Luther as a heretic for just questioning them I'm sure u have answers for all these wrong doings
  6. This was my post in the opinion section I agree with the blog u posted but what I don't consider fair is the fact that dinarck keep and many others that have had this same opinion always get neged or banished to the lop section now that gurus including Adam start to debate a lop or rd everyone is ok with it if anything people should probably see there point of view and be given a fair shake everyone can believe in what they want for a return but newbies might make a more informed decision if both sides of the argument were readily available to view
  7. Agree fortunately I can still read this outside of the lop section which I'm grateful for

  9. I agree even in off topic forum it seems that members are sometimes here to push there agenda and bash or discredit any opposition a lot of members also just like to argue without taking the time to keep an open mind and take More of an objective view on what's being posted
  10. Obviously u need to decrease the amount of currency in circulation by lopping or rving at a low rate initially .01-.10 then issue new currency with smaller denoms
  11. I watched it and agree its sad no one tells u how it really is anymore here's another one for u http://m.youtube.com...h?v=3LKmSwT1wVg
  12. This is my opinion on job creation on a national level in the private sector jobs come from investing and conservatives that want to spend money on construction etc will do it faster and more freely with romney in office rather than Obama I work union construction and employment rates always seem to increase on an election year no matter who gets elected but I don't see as rapid a recovery if Obama gets reelected
  13. The point is it dropped in 4 years Obama hasn't done a thing for job creation in his 4 years also the mass deficit in 2002 was 3 billion by the end of romneys first year it was down to 1.5 billion I know swift and patricks stats I live in mass and the website I said before tells u what has been done by who in a yearly breakdown Obama isn't looking to good compared to romney and don't say Obama inherited his problems he just is inexperienced for the office he holds and a real president would have done better
  14. Actually in 2003 Massachusetts was 47 th in unemployment rate at 5.3% and by 2007 it was at 4.7% and that's fact at the burea of labor and statistics web site that is a source in an Obama ad last time I checked that's lower than 8-11% nation wide now in 2012
  15. I just find it sad that people watch this form there opinion based on lies and its exceptable to allow it and endorse it knowing its a lie because a majority of voters are lazy and don't research there candidate
  16. 50 I'm already 4 years into my downward slide
  17. Mass appeal: Obama TV ad doubles down on Mitt Romney and jobs A new Obama campaignad knocks Romney's economic record as governor, but it's Obama'srecord as president that's at stake Paul Harris guardian.co.uk, Tue 5 Jun 2012 17.06 BST Comment Who Who is that man striding handsomely forward, with his hands in his pockets, through a maze of white columns at the start of this ad? It is President Barack Obamaand heis doing his best to look cool, calm and collected. Which – after last week's appalling jobs figures – can't be easy. What This is a major television ad. It is backed by $10m, airing in nine states and is a full minute long. The ad's subject matter is also the biggest single issue in the 2012 election:jobs. Titled "We've Heard it All Before", it is a negative attack ad going after Romney's record as a job creator while he was governor of Massachusetts. When It has gone up this week. Which is good for Team Obama, as the dreadful news on jobs is sure to smack him where it hurts (his polling numbers). This ad needs to get out there and start punching to try and disrupt some of that bad news. Where The ad is showing across the usual 2012 battleground states of Colorado, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada,Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. How The ad begins with that slightly unusual "I approve this message" scene of Obama striding through what one assumes is part of the White House. Then, it swiftly gets down to business. "It started like this," the ads begins while the words flash "Massachusetts, 2002" popupon screen. We already know this is going to be a negative ad as the mournful music, blurry visualsand ominous voiceover are all taken straight from Hollywood scary movies. A picture of craggy-faced Mitt Romney appears, telling us:"I know how jobs are created." Thencreepy voiceover guy comes back on. "Butit ended like this," he opines. A series of statistics and newspaper editorials slam Romney's time as governor. There were 40,000 lost manufacturing jobs and the state fell to 47th out of 50 when it came to job creation. "Instead of hiringworkers from his own state, Romney outsourced call center jobs toIndia," the ad continues, as we are shown some Indian-looking people manning a phone bank. Which is where one would like to stop for a moment and wonder if that is not a little bit of dodgy racial dogwhistling. Of course, outsourcing is an absolutely legitimate piece of policy debate and India is a major destination for it. But something seems a little off with flashing upa picture of Indians at precisely that moment. If a Republican candidate did that, especially a conservativeTea Partier, it would be easy to call them out. So, we should certainlyhold the Obama team to the same standard, especially as everyone knows his problems connecting with the white working class; this sort of racial imagery might be seen as a crass attempt to patch up that problem. The ad continues: "He cut taxesfor millionaires like himself, while raising them for the middle class." That's better. Good old-fashioned "Romney as uncaring, hyper-wealthy elitist" messaging. Then the ad – like a good movie or novel – brings us back to where it started. "I know what it takes to create jobs," Romney is shown saying again, before the voiceover deadpans: "Remember, we've heard it all before." Clever! There is no denyingthis is a slick and intelligent ad. It takes a lesson from Karl Rove's playbook (always attack an opponent'sstrength, not their weakness) in going after Romney's stance on the economy. It shows an awareness that jobs and the economy are how this election will be won and lost. But it is hampered by a simple problem: no one much cares about the Massachusetts economy of the mid 2000s. Instead, they care about the wider American economy now –and that one is starting is look very sick again. Unfortunately for the Obama campaign, in the mindsof most American voters – especially in the middle ground – the current occupant of the White House basically has political ownership of that economy. That might not be fair. But that does not really matter. So, this ad is worthwhile and professional. But coming down the pipe are a bunch of Romney ads of a similar ilk that are inevitablygoingto have the same sort of message and be all about the Americaneconomyof 2012, not the Massachusetts one of 2002. Those are the ads that will matter. Obama should be far more afraid of them than Romney will be of this one. That article was from the guardian if u watch the actual tv ad it says the facts were from the bureau of labor statistics when u go there and look up romneys record as governor he cut a 3 billion dollar deficit in half in his first year and unemployment droped from 5.6% to 4.7% in 4 years yes Massachusetts was 47 out of 50 but it dropped making that the only true statement in the ad as far as the source they gave as reference last time I checked 4.7% is better then the 8% that's scued and is more like 12% or greater
  18. Thank you keep so in your opinion if there not safe do seem to think as I do that they spent a lot of money on printing those denoms it doesn't seem practical to have all the lower denoms be worth so little I believe I read that the new currency will have a 50 to honor the kurds and they also will print 1s 5s 10s etc that seems unrealistic to have multiple notes of two forms with equal value in circulation at the same time I would hope to make it less confusing they.would just pull larger notes like everyone thinks and just print smaller denoms 1 5 10 etc by 2013
  19. What in your opinion would the 50 250 1000 etc be worth if zeros were dropped or does it only apply to 10000 and 25000 notes
  20. Getting some views no replies liked to hear from keep or machine or 20 million u guys usually give me good answers so if this gets read by u id like ur 2 cents please or just anyone's view thanks
  21. So with the speculation on the removal of three zeros what is the value of each bill going to be I know it may have been asked and may seem stupid to ask but I would like some feedback it would be appreciated if a 25000 note became a 25 what would that do to a 250 etc and is it only the 25000 and 10000 or all notes with 3 zeros 1000 5000 are they included seems to me that would make no sense
  22. The oil boom is definitely in effect in north Dakota some towns are paying 14 an hour to work mcdonalds cause the normal employees left to work in the oil fields working 3 weeks on 2 off for about 2000 a week I've been working from boise to billings to cheyenne doing hvac for 6 years cause work in massachusetts is dead
  23. Two points one if worthless paper why do they offer buy back and two the German rv had the rentmark the mark and finally the deuchmark and eventually the euro all were given a window of exchange sorry for the spelling of the marks didn't want to look it up but Wikipedia and several Google searches all show that germanys different currencies all were honored and I believe two weren't even internationally tradeable also at one point they had a 1.8 billion in circulation in the 1930s at an exchange of 8000 to 1 Also after 25 years the duechmark was exchanged at 1.65 to 1 that's quite a swing from 8000 to 1 so my advice hold on to what dinar u have it might be awhile
  24. Just my opinion the us government has know of oil reserves and natural gas for long time but keep it in house use other countries oil till its completely exhausted then start to use are own at least in a long term position that makes sense to me not saying liberals don't push a renewable energy global warming agenda but I'm sure we have a long term vision for our reserves also I lived in eastern Montana and haliburton has been doing exploratory drilling there for about 3 years
