  1. Tell them the Dinar business is closed, and to come back in a year or two. Or three.
  2. Why wouldn't Iran be the most common variable in all of this? Iran is in every discussion from the Middle East to the United States. Why wouldn't Iran want to develop nuclear weapons for use against Israel? Since the weapon was created almost every country has been trying to develop it. Did the United States stop the USSR from creating their own? Don't be so naive to think just because a country doesn't "allegedly" have any nuclear weapons, they would be scared to try to develop such weapons. Again, Iran is the most common variable, albeit not the most dangerous at the current moment. Economic warfare could very well be the next best thing than an actual war to cripple a country. Because every country needs money to carry on with operations every year.
  3. Sorry, but the US and Russia would never go to war with one another. That is a fact! There is something called "mutually assured destruction" that would have to factor into the equation, you know. Iran is the only variable in this equation that could spark another world war, but the US and Russia would never be against each other. That is commons sense.
  4. They always leave themselves a way out, that is the number one trick to being a successful liar. Keep the story vague and leave a way out of your lie.
  5. The funny thing about this is that the fortune cookie probably has more legitimacy than most of the gurus!
  6. I read this yesterday linked from an Iraqi news website. I think it is the writer's opinion though on most of the stuff, along with the Iraqi people.
  7. My link It appears that the website for the Central Bank of Iraq has gone through an update for some of it's current exchange rates. Including the Swedish Krone and the Japanese Yen. Is this a normal thing for them to do this, or did they just get lazy for today and decide not to include them?
  8. My link Don't know if this has any bearing on the 2012 budget decision that is on another thread, so I thought I would let everyone make what they want out of it.
  9. It will probably end up being Papa Murphy's... then we will have to cook our own pizza while we wait for the feds to credit our accounts.
  10. I heard that is has butterfly doors and can go 0-60 in negative five seconds! Thanks to the diesel turbo tank engine it has in it. The only problem is that it can't pass emission inspections so you won't see it doing anything, anytime soon.
  11. Or maybe the streets are just extremely congested?
  12. The retirement law is what stuck out to me. I find it interesting that they are just now deciding to enact such a law though. What makes this year, and the year 2008 so relevant? Perhaps it could be the amount of planned retirees, or for that matter maybe anything. All these articles surfacing in the past couple of days have been promising. Not just the fact that these things are happening now, but happening for the first time in a LONG time. It definitely gives you hope for a revaluation of the Dinar in the near future, but at the same time they can afford to do most of these things without a stronger currency.
  13. And these voices.... do they speak to you often?
  14. My foreign economics teacher is the one that got me started investing in this actually, around a year ago. He said it was a long term investment and not to believe any hype that comes around without proof from a major news outlet. I had extra money that I saved up, so I decided to invest in it. I have 4.5 million Dinar stashed away in a safety deposit box in my bank. That way all I have to do is get it out of the deposit box and trade it in! It doesn't matter to me as much when it happens, just if it happens.
  15. I honestly don't believe anything that ANYONE says without proper proof. That said, these self-proclaimed "Dinar Gurus," really do get on my nerve. I won't believe anything until I see the rate for myself.
  16. Hi everyone, I am new to the forums but I am an avid browser of Iraqi news outlets. I ran across this article today and thought I would share it with everyone! Take it for what it is, and while it doesn't mention revaluation itself it may have some useful information. LINK: http://www.ahali-iraq.net/detail.aspx?c=news&id=21904 NOTE: I did use google translate for this story, and you can translate for yourself if you want to make sure it is legit.
