  8. Makes you wonder if this budget crisis was nothing more than a diversion so they could finally resolve the real issues... But then again this is Iraq wouldnt surprise me if the budget crisis was just an other day in the soap opera as the Sand Storm Turns.. Tuesday, 26 February, 2013 Announced by Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, on Monday, for “significant development” in relations between his country and Kuwait, the United Nations expressed its satisfaction about it. Maliki’s statement came on the sidelines of a meeting with the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Martin Kobler, in his office in the capital Baghdad. A statement issued by the Information Office of the owners reportedly for “Twilight News” The two sides also discussed the “current events in the region and their impact on the internal situation.” The statement quoted Maliki as saying that “Iraq in the past to develop its relations with all countries of the region, especially with the State of Kuwait with whom relations have been a great development.” In contrast Kubler expressed the readiness of the United Nations to support Iraq’s efforts in promoting the trend of moderation in the region and promote dialogue and move the region about the dangers of regional interventions. He expressed satisfaction with the development in the Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations file, according to the statement quoted. http://translate.google.com/translate?depth=1&ei=WokBTPOiJZX4Na-tsTs&hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dnahrain%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26hs%3Dbh9%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=ar&u=http://www.shafaaq.com/sh2/index.php/news/iraq-news/53398---q-q------qq.html
  9. I can not help but wonder if this whole budget mess was a diversion. Meaning they dangle a bright and shiney in front of us while they work on finishing the real issues and old business. I feel this article helps support what I am thinking... I just can not help but think how the speculators would flood the market in search of Dinar. Maybe I am off base with this thought process but something tells me I am not.... Maliki declares “major development” to relations with Kuwait; UN expresses its satisfaction Announced by Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, on Monday, for “significant development” in relations between his country and Kuwait, the United Nations expressed its satisfaction about it. 12. 2-22-2013 Newshound Guru Doc It looks like the international community has finally had enough. We reported in our last update we were hearing rumblings that this was in fact the case. Now we see that the DFI monies will not be protected past May. The UN tried to get Iraq's attention but with little results. We really like the fact that the international community is now hitting Iraq where it hurts - in the pocket book. Remember the value of the DFI is in the neighborhood of 1 trillion USD. We have to believe that if this doesn't get their attention nothing will. We can hear Iraq being told it is now time to put on your big boy panties and act like a real country and not a penny anti dictatorship. the last line kills me put on your big boy pant and act like a real country and not a penny anti dictatorship... Some of Doc's comments are spot on!! I can wait for blanche to post the rest on here site....

  16. If you do a little research I think you would be amazed at the amount of people who have retired and now live abroad. I found an article where if you lived in Balaize you can live an upper middle class life style for about $1,500 a month which includes housing food medical car entrtainment and utilities. There are areas in the Pacific and other parts of the world US citizens are floking to... I could not believe the quailty of health care other countries provide for little money... I love the USA I am proud to be an American but I too am toying with the Idae of living abroad....

  19. I am not defending Obama in any way seems I have missed something here.... What other tax besides the 2% payroll tax did we get hit with?... That tax was only temporary tax cut by the Bush admin. It wasnt a pemanent tax cut , Bush set an exporation date on that tax cut and Obama extended that tax cut for a few years longer. Not saying I am happy about it but it is not a new tax or a tax hike it is a tax we use to pay anyway. We got a break from it for a while under the Bush tax cuts which were set to expire... That was only a temporay tax break so really there was no new taxes for the middle class that I am aware of... Yes I would have liked that tax cut made permanent but we all knew eventually the Bush Era tax cuts were only temporary,,, So what did I miss??
  20. No one says swell anymore geee wizzzzzzzzz ...... Any thing above $3 would be the bee's knees man I will be cutting a mean rug if that happens.....It would be just groovy.. Keep on truckin everyone
  21. No Gamaray your clairifacation is completely wrong and out of line. You sir are assuming things you should not assume. I sincerely hope you are not trying to twist things around or put words in my mouth I never said or intended to say just so you can voice your personal agenda or, making such statements because you have nothing better to do than start an argument for you own personal ammusement...... This has nothing to do with my so called cash in. When stating "they" get exactly what they deserve is in reference to the leaders of Iraq. The statement made by me is in reference to the lack of leadership childish nonsense and refusal to show up an vote and basicly refusing to do their job. When they (the leaders of Iraq) are more concerned about being corupt and greedy then they are about taking care of the country and getting the country moving forward. YES THEY DESERVE TO FAIL! Let me say it again Yes they(the leaders of Iraq) deserve to fail. The people of Iraq the citizens who are living in poverty who are living in filth who are living with out health care who are starving do not deserve to be lead by liars cheats and theives. The people of Iraq deserve better leadership. When leaders of a country have 10 years to accomplish a goal and can not get that goal accomplished due to childish nonsense, coruption and. a laundry list of other illegal acts, then the leaders should get what they deserve. Let us not forget the leaders of Iraq are not living in poverty they are not wanting for anything. They just want what is best for their pocket not the citizens of Iraq, Please also let me remind you that the IMF wants to use Iraq as a "Donor Country and help prop up banks through out the EU" as quoted in some older articles. This is about getting a global economy moving forward. Not my cash in. If this leadership of Iraq can not get the job done they need to be removed and replaced with people who can PERIOD! that is what my statement was about.
