Zul had an interesting take on this article, and I think he is right on. His insight makes this article a stronger piece of news. When they are speaking of "difficult international currency" what they are describing is "hard". So it would read, "Hard international currency". Just thought I would add this to the dialogue here.

Earlier this morning I stated I suspected Najafri as being the source for the articles. The reason being is his post in Twitter, about a confrontation with Maliki. As it is mentioned in this article, it does hold some validity in that these article did come after the heels of the meeting. I suspect Najafi wants this guy in as head of CBI. He is playing a political game. Make the people who are investors and populace doubt Turki. Now Ahmed Bureihi may be a much better candidate, but Najafi is stirring the pot. Yes it is a way to intimidate Turki, it is also a way to piss Maliki off big time.
