  1. Washington - The White House on Tuesday denied a report that the Obama administration has decided to slash the number of US troops in Iraq to 3,000 at the end of the year. Quoting "multiple sources familiar with the inner workings and decisions on US troop movements in Iraq," Fox News reported Tuesday that the number of US troops in Iraq will be reduced to 3,000 at the end of the year, a proposal that has been approved by Defense Secretary Leon Panetta. Continues .. Press Secretary Jay Carney responded with a flat "no" when the accuracy of the report was questioned at the White House's daily press briefing. The administration is "in negotiations, consultations with the Iraqi government about what our relationship with Iraq will look like going forward," Carney said. "We want a normal, productive, healthy relationship with Iraq," he said. "If the Iraqi government makes a request of us, we will certainly consider it." More than 40,000 US service members are now stationed in Iraq, and they are to pull out completely by the end of 2011, according to a security agreement signed in 2008 between Baghdad and Washington. http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/world/2011-09/07/content_13636142.htm
  2. I cant wait to see what comes out of this. I have felt that this is the smoking gun that all of the lopsters have been ignoring. Don't have to wait long on this one, it's happening tomarrow!
  3. How does the DFI effect their reserves? They have control of it but it is kept in US accounts. Was 250 billion when it was released right?
  4. So did the seat a defense minister finally? Or just approve of one?
  5. I would imagine that those are "combat troops" that they are referring to. Obummer is gearing up for campaign season and I am sure he has a few tricks up his sleeve. Funny, I bet most of the troops that leave are going just a hop skip and a jump over to Afgainistan. We still will have Iran surrounded. I wonder how many "non combat" military personal will be staying in Iraq.
  6. I have some friends that invested in the casino's in Vegas after the stock market crash of 2008. One of them invested $27,000 in a stock that went from being over $20 a share to about $1. Those share are now trading around $9-$11. I know it's not currency, I know it has been more than a year. But for those who say a 1000% or more increase in any thing is not a reallity, I say fooy!
  7. I totally agree. I think it's time for Americans to stand up and stop a lot of things. Unfortunantly the fact that folks on the left and the right still just want to point fingers across the isle and say "It's their fault!" is really hindering any progress. It's time we come together as a nation and put a end to fleecing of the American people.
  8. I sure hope there is a connection. The mining and minerals thing ( I forget the name of it) in london is on the 7th. They said Iraq's true potential will be unvailled for the first time, showing billions of dollars in investment opportunity. I hope this is connected as well.
  9. Can anyone summarize? I can't listen to this site from my iPhone.
  10. Cool, thanks for the link! I hate it when my bubble gets burst, but I won't ignorantly believe 100% of the hype. I am definantly gonna ride this out though and remain hopefull!
  11. I would like to see a source other than the CBI. I do see where it says 3000-1 in 1995 on the CBI history.
  12. Do you have any links to back up your statement? The graph I put up clearly shows the dinar being .33 cents in 2003. I'm not saying the chat is right for sure, I would like to see another graph from a differnt source to cross reference this info.
  13. Haha! I can see he(or she?) has a boat load of negs in the short time they have been a member here. +1 for you and every one else but Dinarrhea! Oh, I am so sorry! I accidentally hit the - button, I did not mean to do that! I will even you out some where else! Again, so sorry!
  14. Thanks for your in put. You seem like a very opinionated individual. I would have to say it is not 100% BS. I even put up a link to the history of the dinar that backs up some of his statements.
  15. I have 125,000 in 250 dinar notes I would give someone a good deal on. PM me if ya want.
  16. I just don't understand why people use other countries hyperinflation and RD as a model for Iraq. If you put Iraq side by side with lets say Turkey or Brazil, there is a lot of big differences. I was really happy to hear Phoenix point some of that stuff out. I hope we can see this ride coming to an end with in the next few months.
  17. Sorry about that. Josh's link appears to work. It's the show titled The Unexpected for 9-4-11. He talks about why there will not be the dreaded "L" word. I think he gives some great reasons. Here is a link to a graph that I always really liked, and I think it backs up his statements. http://www.edinarfinancial.net/history.php http://m.blogtalkradio.com/asdf/2011/09/04/the-train-kept-a-rollin
  18. Awsome comments from Phoenix. I would like to get some other peoples thoughs on this. Link to audio http://m.blogtalkradio.com/asdf/2011/09/04/the-train-kept-a-rollin
  19. Truly unbelievable that this could continue this long. I hope the individuals that intentualy lie over and over get what is coming to them.
