I also mentioned this when I started this thread and I stated that, since no one is following up on it, maybe it turned out not to be true. I saw it on Fox News on Saturday, so if there was something to it, I would have expected that Fox would have run with the story. Also, I've heard that some of the smaller companies are taking advantage of the coronavirus by claiming they have a vaccine so they get some media attention - even though it's fleeting.

Not surprising, but still sad to read. fyi Jennifer Zeng is with Epoch times and has been covering the coronavirus extensively; she has many contacts in China. Most of this is in Chinese, which I don't read, but I trust her reporting and I'm sure we'll see further confirmation shortly. It's hard to know how it will affect the RV, but I would assume it will take a back burner to the coronavirus. Yesterday it was reported a company company in Texas created a vaccine for it, but Ithere doesn't seem to be anyone else reporting that or following up on it, so maybe it turned out not to work/be true.

At this early stage, since this appears to be man-made and created to spread quickly, the best approach seems to be to fortify your immune system. Vitamin C and Chaga mushrooms are highly recommended. Also, since the coronavirus has aspects of HIV, some Chinese doctors have had success in treating it with HIV protease inhibitors. Chinese doctors have also had success with oxygenating the blood. Anyway, his Critical Thinking video from February 13 has good information on how to prepare yourself for it. Keep in mind that since coronavirus is so new,, we are learning more about it every day so it's important to keep up with the most current information. I hope the Iraqis fair well with this. I was just reading how Iran transferred the plaque to Iraq in 1831 and it killed 1/3 of Iraq's population. I also see from this thread in the News section, that there are 13 confirmed cases in Iran now with 2 deaths, which means it's been in Iran for a while and most likely is already in Iraq. There's a current theory that coronovirus targets specitic genomes (and therefore races). Obviously Asians are one of them and also Africans. If 2 Iranians already died, it might also hit Middle Easterners hard too. Bear in mind this is only a theory right now, but it's something to think about. So I came upon the below video about Kim Clement and QAnon and I was looking for thread to attach it to and found this one. I didn't see this thread when it was originally posted 2 monthss ago so I read it just now. The reply titled KIM CLEMENT ADMITS HE IS A FALSE PROPHET really caught my eye. So I clicked on the link (did anyone else bother to do that?!). Turns out, KIM CLEMENT DID NOT "ADMIT HE IS A FALSE PROPHET"!! What the article said was, and I am copying and pasting the relevant part in its entirety, “Kim, are you ever wrong?” Yes I am. From that, the author concluded Kim admitted to being a false prophet. That's totally not righ!! Kim merely said hew was wrong sometimesand that's not the same as admitting he's a "false prophet"!!! This reminds of how the MSM twists and misquotes things about Trump. They take something and then twist it into meaning something else. I'll point out that the purpose of prophesy is to warn people about what is coming so that they can prepare for it, and in many cases avoid it. Often the prophesy is about something bad that will happen, but when advance warning is given, it allows people the chance to change their behavior and avert it. Think of people who get a premonition that they will die in a plane crash so can't bring themself to get on a scheduled flight. The airplane crashes, but the person heeded the warning of that premonition and didn't die. Is it fair to say that person's premonition is false because that person didn't die? Of course not!! When you think about it, the best prophesies end up not coming true becaue the prophesy did exactly what it was intended to do: forewarn people that the path they are on will lead to a bad outcome so they can make different choices and not continue down that path. The author of that article who tried to claim Kim admits he's a false prophet was wrong to to say because a person's prophesy does not happen, it means the person is a "false prophet". And shame on him for for using the term "false prophet" because that is such an emotionally charged term for Christians - it implies he's in league with the devil. Now, back to Kim and QAnon. So because of what I just said, I don't give a lot of creedence to prophecies. And frankly, Kim's flamboyance puts me off. But I know a lot of people here are fans of him and I know they are much more well versed with him than I am, so I respect their opinions and cut Kim some slack. Today I watched this video and it does seem like Kim might have been talking about QAnon. Plus, he mentions some other things, like highly embarrasing moments for many politicians, and the upcoming elections (then the 2016 elections) that will shake the Democrats and unsettle the Republicans. That happened; the Democrates went crazy and factured into far left socialists and moderate liberals, and many Republicans hated Trump until the just last year or so. For anyone who's willing to dismiss the unfair claim that Kim admitted he's a "false prophet", it's a good listen.

Yes, there is most definitely cause for alarm about coronavirus. We don't know yet how deadly it really is, but for sure it is spreading around the world. Even if you are lucky enough to not get sick from it, we will all be seriously affected as supplies for most things start to dry up. This is because China is such a big source of so many things that we use all the time. Even if China doesn't make the end product, they often manufacture necessary parts of that product. This will affect many things - the most serious of which is medicines. They also are a source of plastics, auto parts, electronics, and so much more. Unless you are Amish, you will likely find your life greatly disrupted. The price of facemasks has alread increased 1,000%... Last month a box of 100 3M, n95 masks was like $20, now they're we'll over $200 and continuing to go up since supplies are dwindling. Most masks are made in China and China has pretty much ground to a halt. Plus, who wants a person infected with coronavirus making/shipping the masks you want to protect themself from it? It is also possible that basic services may be affected in a few months if people have to be quarantined in their homes in the U.S. (and other countires), like they are now doing in China. Who would pick up the trash? Will electricity, water and gas still continue at least? We don't know how bad it may get, but I think everyone should consider making at least some preparations now while they still can. I started a thread here about a really good source of coronavirus informatioin. Clif High is well known for health, science and even cryptos. He is following it closely and even has contacts in China so is able to get info that others cannot. He's a good man (despite his quirks) whom I trust and highly recommend for info on Coronavirus.

The reality is that no one can say for sure, either way. Nothing is life is guaranteed. I totally believe it is Iraq's intention to RV, but s*$# happens and plans get thrown off track. We have Iraq's internal struggle to reduce government corruption, then there's the coronavirus, and also a potential threat from locusts. We've made our choice to invest in this, now all we can do is wait and hope and pray that it comes to fruition. I really hope and pray it does, but I also think it's wise to be a realist and have a back up plan in case it doesn't. just saying.....

Agreed! But I can't help but wonder if something big may happen that prevents the RV. We'll just have to see how much further the locusts travel up through Saudi Arabia and Iran and hope and pray that they die off before they make it to Iraq and before the rains start in the spring and they really proliferate. And then there's the coronavirus..... It's not covered much in our news but it is looking pretty likely that it is indeed a bioweapon and might actually kill off some 15% of the world's population. More time is needed to gather statistics (and hopefully accurate ones since we know that China has been understating the real numbers - assuming they even have accurate numbers to begin with) so we wait and see here just like with the locusts. In the meantime, I was disheartened to learn yesterday that right before the Wuhan quarantine went into affect, several million Chinese left and many returned to Africa. I do think it's inevitable that this will spread around the world since China was too late in instituting a quarantine. But there just hasn't been enough time to know how contageous and deadly this really is. And while it does seem likely that this is a bioweapon - it's still too early to say that definitively. Maybe it won't be as bad a pandemic as people are projecting. And it may be that many people will be infected by it, but their immune system will be strong enough to fight it off without them getting any symptoms (or even only minimal symptoms). So I still think we have to wait and see how this plays out. But, the stakes are high and and I've decided it's best to be over-prepared rather than under-prepared, so I am going to start making some preparstions for worst case. I take total responsibility for what I said, but in fairness, iI was not directed at Yota. The full story is that I was the 3rd person to comment about not liking how, in the News section, the mods have started to change the names of topics and add new articles to older posts, which can make it hard to find the article you want. Adam had previously replied that he was looking into it. 10 days later, on January 22 (the date Yota stopped posting), was when I added my reply. This was the day after Sadr and the protestors both nominated a different Allawi for the interim Prime Minister position. I had wanted to come to DV to read what was happening with that, since DV, thanks in large part to Yota I might add, is the best source of Iraqi news. But that day, there were no new posts about it and I didn't have the time to sift through several older, seemingly related posts to try to find the latest news on the two Allawi's. Frustrated, I replied the following to the other post. LGD, if I am indeed the one who hurt Yota's feelings, please tell him I am very sorry and that I honestly was not complaining about him. I gather now that he is the one who is combining articles and changing the titles, and there's no doubt in my mind that his intent was to consolidate and simplify the News section for all of us. Perhaps he doesn't understand how most of us here are just not near as well informed about Iraqi news as he is and we cannot easily follow his reasoning when he makes those changes. Since this thread has pivoted to focus on the Coronavirus and not the price of oil, I'll chime in on that. First, I also believe this nCoV is most likely a bioweapon from the Wahun BioWeapons Lab and that it probably was orginally stolen from a Canadian lab last year. Coronavirus Bioweapon – How China Stole Coronavirus From Canada And Weaponized It But how it started is almost a moot point now because what's important is, "how bad is it - really?" And only time will tell us that, although at least we shouldn't have to wait long. Interstingly, nCoV has HIV components (Coronavirus Contains "HIV Insertions", Stoking Fears Over Artificially Created Bioweapon) and a doctor in Thailand has found success treating it using flu and HIV drugs. He stopped short of calling it a "cure" (because we know that's a bad word to western doctors), but after treating a woman, who had originally tested positive for it, for ten 10 days with flu and HIV drugs, she tested negative (which to me, sounds like a cure as long as there were no lab errors). The thing that cocerns me the most is that we don't know if this was an accident and the PTB are truly trying to contain something very dangerous. Or if it was intentially done with an agenda, or if maybe it started by accident and has been co-opted into a psyop. Will the PTB use it to get a large percentage of the population to willingly accept a new vaccine (though I'd personally opt for the flu and HIV drugs myself before it'd get this new vaccine - but of course that story is not well publicized so few people will know about that option) that has who-knows-what side affects and who-knows-what hidden in it? Will governments try to use it to scare people so they quit protesting all around the world? Or for some other nefarious purposes? Or maybe it won't turn out to be that contageous, or at least not as deadly as they're projecting it to be. I just feel I need to wait for more information before I come to any conclusions about this. But at least I know there's an alternative treatment to this upcoming new vaccine which will undoubtedly not be well-tested due to time constrainsts. And I'll just add, it would make the wait a bit easier if the low oil prices did end up pushing Iraq to move more quickly on the RV.

Chinese lockdowns of cities, closed Chinese business/exports along with reduced flights have significantly reduced the demand for oil and are causing the price of oil to plummet. How far down it will go will be determined by what happens with the Coronavirus. It's hard to know how bad the Coronavirus really is because first, the Chinese government is probably under-reporting the seriousness of it and two, there hasn't been enough time for people to get accurate figures on how contageous it really is and what the real death rate from it actually is. (In the interest of keeping this post brief, I didn't copy the full articles below because I don't think the details are really important. What is important is how much further down the Coronavirus will push down oil prices. But there is no way to predict that, so only time will tell. At least we should have more information about that in the coming weeks (and not months). In the meantime, at least we now have a better understanding of what's happening.) There is a school of thought that says low oil prices will push Iraq to RV sooner since most of their income comes from oil (I believe it's about 90%), and since they need around $58/barrel to fund their country (assuming they will be able to continue to sell their normal amount of oil), if oil stays below $58, they will need to make up for the shortfall and the easiest way to do so is add value to their dinar. That seems logical to me, but really, who knows? Anyway, I had not considered the impact of the Coronavirus problem on oil prices, but after reading these articles, now I understand it's why oil prices are dropping so fast.
