  1. Keep using your brain to think and your heart to love...God gave them to all of us to use as we walk our paths here. Sad some turn their brains and hearts over to the media and internet lies that raise hatred for the "other"...what a waste. I honor the path you have chosen and I appreciate that you have been so tolerant of my path... even when we have disagreed. Thank You Dog
  2. "Thornberry said, that "the Commission does not want to make decisions pertaining to Iraqi sovereignty and internal affairs of their country." So this bill to directly arm the Kurds and the Sunnis...going around Abadi and the central government in Baghdad isn't a desire to make decisions that are interfering with Iraq's sovereignty and the affairs of their country?... RIGHT! <sarcasm> What would we say if another country decided they should directly arm separate factions in this country? Just a bunch of twisting of the issues and more double speak to cloud an obvious agenda. Down is Up.... White is Black... Wrong is Right....
  3. This is exactly what we DON"T want if we are interested in holding Iraq together as one nation IMHO
  4. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! A Special Birthday Tune For Two Very Special People!! :partyhat: :partyhat: :partyhat:
  5. Looks like lots of people love the lies Botz. Freddie Gray's Lawsuit Had Nothing to do With a Spinal InjuryJohn Cardillo 4/28/2015 Rumours about a lawsuit involving Freddie Gray and Allstate insurance began flying around social media late today. One site in particular, The Fourth Estate, was apparently more concerned about being first than they were about being right. Quoting anonymous sources, they reported, quite definitively, that Freddie Gray sustained spinal injuries in an accident and had endured several unsuccessful spinal fusion surgeries. One just weeks prior to his arrest by Baltimore Police. They wrote this: "The Fourth Estate has contacted sources who allege that Freddie Gray received spinal and neck surgery a week before we was arrested, and was allegedly receiving a large structured settlement from Allstate Insurance. The surgery is allegedly related to a car accident in which Gray was involved." None of this however is true. In my opinion, it was both highly unethical and irresponsible for The Fourth Estate to print that story. An examination of court records reveals that Freddie Gray was not suing Allstate, but was in fact the defendant in a case where Peachtree Settlement Funding was the plaintiff and Allstate an interested party. It is quite clear that this was litigation part and parcel to a settlement awarded the Gray family pursuant to their former landlord not properly removing lead paint from the home in which they lived. The initial suit was filed by Carolina Gray, Freddie Gray's sister in Baltimore City Circuit Court in 2008 and settled in 2010. Four years later a suit regarding the purchase of the settlement was filed in Howard County Circuit Court by Peachtree Settlement Funding, and dismissed on April 2 of this year. Some are noting different case numbers as an indication that the cases are unrelated, but that is not correct. Peachtree was not a party to the initial action in which the settlement was awarded, but rather purchased the settlement after the case was closed. Then, for an unknown business reason (as is common in commercial litigation) Peachtree sued the Gray family in a different county under a new case number, ultimately seeing the case dismissed. So while the case numbers and venues are different, the cases are related. None of these cases involve car accidents or spinal injuries as reported by too many blogs this afternoon. 6. Dang good question Dog...Like Machine said they must know exactly what happened by now. I agree with you too about the mob rule and the destruction, that is counter productive to a legitimate protest... although it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to predict this happening if they didn't respond with some arrests or an explanation of why there have been none. Thank You Shabs...love the "colorful" portion...Great Post!!! I believe that too and that is my hope for people of all colors.
  7. For those who do not see a problem...there is nothing more to say... For those who do see a continually worsening problem or perhaps we are just becoming more aware of what has always been there, here are some inspiring words from Edmund Burke: “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Here are others by Burke: “Nobody makes a greater mistake than he who does nothing because he could only do a little” “Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it.” **My favorite** “No passion so effectually robs the mind of all its powers of acting and reasoning as fear.” “The greater the power, the more dangerous the abuse.” “But what is liberty without wisdom, and without virtue? It is the greatest of all possible evils; for it is folly, vice, and madness, without tuition or restraint.” Source(s): http://thinkexist.com/quotes/Edmund_Burk...
  8. Thank You Machine I loved this article!!! The guy has a great sense of humor and that is NOT easy while writing about something so bleak. Thanks for keeping precious metals at the forefront in your posts Machine...we need to be reminded so that those of us who are "making angels weep" get with the program. If we don't have much in extra income to buy gold, the beauty is that we CAN afford silver right now. I have a theory that silver will rise even higher than gold, (in proportion to costs of course). Ummm did I say that right? Hope you get the idea of what I'm saying...I'm thinking that because silver is used/needed for so many industrial applications. Yep DeWitte...As I have said before "I always enjoy your posts".
  9. Hi Shabs...I really miss you too! I'm just fine, thank you for asking. Hope you are having a lovely spring my friend.
  10. Hi Dog Haha I don't want to "kick your a$$" how about a civil conversation instead? I see a very big problem...going on right now... can't figure for the life of me how you don't see it too. I don't see people standing up for their rights or other peoples rights as victims...not at all...in fact it takes courage! Trinity reminds me of a young man that I've had the pleasure of getting to know through his friendship with my daughter over the past few years as he has been attending university here. He grew up in LA so he is pretty savvy on how to stay "safe". He is an extra-ordinary human being, everyone that knows him, loves him. He has no record but decided that he would not have a car here because this is a very...eh hm...non-diverse city. He told me he would be a moving target, same as walking but more expensive and the constant tickets would break his school budget. So he walks everywhere, even though they know him very well by now, they still "pull him over" but at least it doesn't cost him money every time. I asked him what his experience had been here, he wasn't whining or complaining, he was just matter of fact about why he had made that decision. Last fall he went to LA to participate in the protests there. He was part of what they were calling a "die in" (rather than a "sit in") they laid down in the street and blocked traffic. He said he was fully aware of the danger in doing that but it wasn't violent and he would have left at any first sign of that. That Took Courage! What do you suggest they do...write letters? Truth is I would like to be marching right along with them and I support any peaceful resistance or protest that are going on. It is high time that this corrupt system gets put out in the light of day and we all work towards getting this turned around. This is a very real and CURRENT problem...not something to be twisted into something that happened in the past and "time to move along...nothing to see here" as some would like to say. PS. This is the same young man I was talking about in the "Can Muslims Be Good Americans?" thread..you get my drift? He was nominated by a few of his professors as "Senior of The Year" and just won the award! I'm so proud of him I could bust!!!
  11. Trinity: "i will stand with you in truth and not turn a blind eye to injustice" I stand beside you right now Trinity...please know there are many people who see the truth (a flawed system) and want to change the system to a more just one. Thank you for trying to raise awareness where there seems to be little desire to see what is/has been going on. That took courage and I admire you for that very much. Be Blessed Trinity
  12. Lol Thuggie...I dunno how you do it!!! Go HCL!!!......................Tlar not so much...he needs to lighten up on those Tlargaritas.
  13. I don't neg people...I say what I think...unlike the 5 other fragile people here that negged me. I gotta wonder if "all exchange restrictions" isn't in regard to the street exchange/exchangers...I'll have to read it again but that was my thought as I read it the first time.
  14. There is a place for you to appreciate all the pumping of the RV tomorrow/Sunday DzUP...it's called the "rumors" section. We come into the news section to enjoy reading and seeing intelligent and thought out analysis from our members here about the articles being brought in... there's a time and a place for everyone and everything here at DV.
  15. Kids fainting in the schools from hunger is where the line has to be drawn...let alone 60% youth unemployment. It's not that they don't want work...There are no jobs because of all the stupid measures that have been taken. Why the heck should the citizens pay for what the oligarchs and the banksters caused? #GoGreece
  16. Thank You Trinity and Wiljor...Appreciate you well thought out assessments. Thank You Yota for bringing this in...important article indeed. (sorry guys... just get tired of all the hype...need some semblance of thought and common sense brought into this...or this is going to loose all credibility IMHO)
  17. Like what you said last Sunday? (kindly STOP saying the lords name in vain LGD) ...................................................
  18. Excellent Article Gente...Sums up all the rest of the picture quite well...Thank You. Jim...I'm taking lessons from you on being so level headed and patient. Appreciate Both Of You Too...Very Much!
  19. Hello Shabbs Of course there are always other "options" and one must ALWAYS use discernment...no matter what we are looking at. So good on you... Ah where to begin...I guess I'll just keep it on the topic of this video and our embassy there to keep it simple... You are right to question the possibility of an inaccurate translation or if perhaps this person was sent there by Russia to make those accusations. I would give the benefit of the doubt towards this being true because of what we know about the workings in this same US Embassy a few months later...we know about the leaked phone call between Victoria Nuland (Assistant Secretary OF State) and Geoffrey Pyatt (the US Ambassador Of Ukraine). It was definitely an incriminating phone call involving their plotting of who the new Ukrainian guberment should be led by..."I think Yats is the guy...". They were talking about who would be the most strategic to send there and when (Biden), who should be calling who to make that happen. The state department had egg dripping off their face...they could not deny the call and Victoria Nuland even had to put out an apology to EU leaders for her "F*ck the EU" comment on the call. So that said...taking in account the "protesters" chanting in the background to obviously try and drown out what he was saying...I would give more weight to what this man was saying as being truthful and in what was being portrayed here. That and the pattern that I have observed in the MO of our guberment. IE: sending "aid workers" to countries with the mission of raising division, discontent and unrest. Really an internet campaign launched by the US in that Embassy isn't such a stretch to believe. IMHO. Here are a couple of links about the call: This one is a transcript of the call from a MSM outlet... http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-26079957 This is from a site I like: "Washington’s response has confirmed the authenticity of a YouTube clip of a leaked telephone conversation between US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and US Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt that emerged Thursday. In the call, posted by an anonymous Russian source, Nuland and Pyatt discuss installing a new, pro-US government that will incorporate the fascistic opposition which has been leading street protests against Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. Even though Washington’s campaign for regime-change has been coordinated with the European Union (EU), and particularly with Berlin, in the phone conversation with Pyatt, Nuland attacks the EU for being insufficiently aggressive, saying at one point, “F*ck the EU.” Asked about the leaked video, US State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said, “I didn’t say it was inauthentic.” She added that Nuland was “in contact with her EU counterparts and, of course, has apologized for these reported comments.” Psaki also addressed Nuland’s and Pyatt’s discussion of which forces Washington would allow to come to power in Kiev. In the telephone call, the two discuss plans to install an oligarchic regime working closely with fascist gangs. They agree that boxer Vitali Klitschko, who leads the German-backed UDAR party, should stay out of power and “do his political homework and stuff.” They conclude that Arseniy Yatsenyuk of jailed billionaire oligarch Yulia Tymoshenko’s Fatherland Party should rule, conferring regularly with Oleh Tyahnybok of the fascist Svoboda Party, whose members and neo-Nazi allies provide most of the thugs fighting riot police in Kiev. Psaki indicated that such discussions are normal for US policymakers. “It shouldn’t be a surprise that at any points there have been discussions about recent events and offers and what is happening on the ground,” she said. http://www.globalresearch.ca/us-response-to-leaked-call-confirms-useu-regime-change-plot-in-ukraine/5367968 Anyways... that is my humble opinion on this video that Jim brought in...also I want to make it clear that my allegiance is not with any government...not even our own right now. My allegiance is and always will be with the American People and our well being FIRST and FOREMOST! If our guberment is causing danger to that well being for nefarious undertakings, then I feel it important to sound out against their actions. You also know me well enough to know how much empathy I have for all the innocent victims of other countries that have been slain and are being displaced by these conflicts. I believe our guberment's actions have been and are still contributing greatly to their pain. I guess that is one of my strong points...a whole lot of empathy...but it breaks my heart at times. As Always Shabbs... Much Love and Appreciation Your Way.
  20. Me Too Gente Hey maybe it would be good if...cough...er...um...hint...hint...Someone started a thread with good links to alternative news sites... I'll be glad to contribute the ones I know about. Just a thought....Nite Gente.
  21. Telling indeed...Murdock even bought into one of my favorite sources...VICE News. Now I keep a hawk eye on them...I guess you have to with any media...alternative or not. Gente...gotta tell you...I really appreciate everything you bring in...High Five!!! I've enjoyed Zero Hedge ever since you introduced me to it...Much Appreciated.
  22. Yep...and the MSM is their best tool to get that job (division) accomplished.... So I say MSM is not part of the problem...it is THE PROBLEM with keeping our society lame. My New Hashtag,,, #BreakYourTV Oh wait... I almost forgot...here is my fave... #EndTheFed Love That One
  23. Yep...that about covers it Gente ...and I am sick of all the laziness and willful ignorance too! Folks know better...yet keep going to the trough to gobble it up...they'd rather be entertained with that crap instead of actually finding or looking at the truth...which isn't that hard to find! Guess some figure it's better NOT to look at that...might mean going against the flow...might mean getting really angry and frustrated ...might mean actually getting off our lazy arses and DOING something about it. We had better hold more people accountable though...or they are going to pull us all down with them. There is no excuse anymore for being uninformed. Time to come together and call folks out that parrot all this divisive crap thrown at us everyday. JMHO
