This is how they are getting alot of the money that comes into the country definitely this the key to everything that is going on We talked about needing to pass laws for economic and contractural reasons for the RV...they lay out these oil wells or these areas where they think there is going to be gas and they bid on it...they test..figure out how much oil they can get and they pull it out of the ground and they make huge profits doing that to help them pump it..control it and get it going and Iraq makes huge dollars on the sale of the oil This has been delayed and delayed .....you can look at as another delay BUT the reason they did it this time is they had to rewrite the contracts for ECONOMIC and contractural terms Obviously that has something to do with the money and we've talked about things that might need to be done for the RV... they put this down the road a little bit....which gives us a date sometime in the future that if it is tied to any time of an RV happening before that then this contract would not have to be redone You would do this ahead of time so you dont run into problems when something happens and we talked about that. Article that points to the Oil and Gas and having to change something.... Why would you have to change something for economic reasons? In any negotiations you can always adjust the amount you want...the percentages you get and who is getting what...etc but to be rewritten for economic reasons makes me wonder if there is some clause thats in the contract that has to do with currency and how they are going to be paid and what that is going to look like before an RV or after an RV...maybe not in those terms...maybe like "in the event the currency changes we get a bigger percentage....we would want more at that point in time....because there would be more value there etc" I think that is extremely positive - article I had to read twice when I saw that...Thought it was a negative article but after reading ...had to ask myself What would be the commen sense reasons for doing this... Dont like to see contracts being put off.....but after reading why I had to say WOW...very positive They need to start changing things now to get ready for what is happening in the future... We Couldn't Find An Eraser ! 2-10-2012 Guru Doc Several have suggested that the proposed 2012 budget currently being debated does in fact hint to a RV rate in the upper $3+ range. This is assumed by taking the budget of 115 trillion dinar and dividing it by the assumed total dinar of around 30 trillion. Unfortunately this is not how budget or RV value works. The budget is simply an accounting of the expenses of the GOI to operate the country. 2-10-2012 Guru Doc The revenues coming in to pay for these expenses is from oil and the budget assumes 2.6 million barrels/day at $85. Doing the math we calculate revenue to be $81 billion. Now we apply an exchange rate of 1170 dinar/$ and revenues are about 95 trillion dinar or about 20 trillion less than expenses. However in the budget they stated there was around a 20 trillion shortfall and it would be made up from reserves. Simply put the budget being debate right now assumes a 1170 exchange rate. The question is do they have a second budget ready to present post RV? The easiest way to see this – divide 26 billion into 89.1 = rate...3.41 – that’s it. A managed float...that’s what they have to come out with! I beleive there is no way we are getting the rate we are getting without it being pegged to the GBP and the last rate I'm hearing as of today is between $5 and $8 dollars. I think it will be an RV.
