I would think there had to have been some type of upward or downward adjustment to their rates( R/V? or D/V), with a window to trade or cash out that you possibly missed while you were out of the country. Was this an investment, or just some foreign currency you had left? If not an investment, you probably werent following it as closely as this, and perhaps just missed your window. Just an opinion. 1st, as far as I can tell with some quick research this morning, this is NOT a scheduled closing for the CBI. 2nd, I have gotten excited in the past when the exchange rate date on CBI home page has not been updated. Excitement quickly dashed when I click on currency auction link, as they have ALWAYS been updated (yes except weekends and scheduled holidays)....until today. Just saying, I like it, and think this could have LARGE implications. Thanks...Peace Out

WOW. Just got a break and logged on. Interesting perspectives. I have always believed, and still do, that there will be an RV AND L. Dinar RVs low, say .80, Window to cash in or trade in 1 for 1 large denoms or they become worthless, then RV again to its true value... whatever that may be. Probably oversimplifying, but I think it will resemble this. PS BondLady Rocks!!!

Thanks. I see the auction has todays date. Home page box with other world currencies still shows yesterday. That is where Ive always gone for todays rates. I guess auction tab is more reliable. Thanks for the guidance. I owe, I owe, its off to work.....

Does anyone know why the CBI website still shows yesterdays rates @ 4:30 EST? Im new, so if there is a really simple answer, please forgive my newbieness. It was rumored parliment had the week off,(then not), but I havnt heard CBI include in that week. Thanks and Good Luck to all

I have not seen links or actual articles confirming an RV. That would be what I would call a "sure thing". This is, imho, a purely speculative investment. I have read posts on this and other websites that make very intelligent, thought out, arguments pointing to not if an RV will take place, but when and how much. I agree. After reading history of other currency devaluations, and RV that followed, I made the dicision to invest in this. However, I am not spending my lunch money on it. Read, Consider, and use caution.
