  1. There is so much buzz about banks and money right now, I really do not know what to think. I can't recall this level of fever pitch since 2009... B/A
  2. Mnt Goat December 20, 2016 I bring you great news today. NO!, not a date or a rate for the RV but news that points us to the time frame of EARLY 2017 and the importance of this period. It is all playing out as the news is leading us to it just as the CBI told us would. Financial analysts and economists are explaining the importance that monetary policy and fiscal policy for a privatization of their economy. Something really BIG is about to happen in 2017. They are telling us this change is being implemented NOW and not years down the road as they are NOW creating this environment suitable and appropriate to shift from the public sector to the private sector. In order to make this shift they need STABILITY… NO! The battle for Mosul is not yet over…But it won’t be long from now.
  3. I can't help but notice nearly every article today has to do with banks... Should I be getting just a little excited??? B/A
  4. I like your thinking... One of the big problems is that most of that gain has been by the big banks. The problem there is that the banks are loading up again on bad debt. The banks are making loans to people who are living pay check to pay check. In my area they are advertising No Money Down mortgages. The banks then sell these risky loans in big investment pools... That is one issue to keep your eyes on. Rinse Wash Repeat. JMHO B/A
  5. The World Bank is beating the drum for multi-nationals to come on in and join the party... Iraq just needs a new slogan.... How about this? Iraq will pay you back... Jack! B/A
  6. I understand you, but somethings just have to be accepted. Dogs bark, cats meow. Woman have babies, men do not (well not yet anyway LOL). I can't dispute what anyone believes. Like you, I can only state my opinions and express them the best I can. Unlike many people I meet who want to change others, I'm not out to change anyone. I only hope to share a different perspective from time to time. With all that said, I'd like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year. Be careful out there. B/A
  7. I'm just taking some time off at the end of the year... First break in a long time. B/A
  8. Funny, I have never actually thought about going to the party either. But after all my recent conversations, I think I would like to have a drink with my fellow DVers too! B/A
  9. Jax, thanks for the reasonable response. Merry Christmas to you and your family, and I wish all of us a happy New Year!!! Stay safe and enjoy your holiday! B/A
  10. The DOW stands at 19,948 as of right now... When it hits 20,000 what do you think will happen. Will it continue to climb or will the markets selloff? Thanks for your thoughts. B/A
  11. You are 100% correct. Even the bank teller or the clerk at the checkout register can't make an independent decision. Free thinking is quickly becoming a thing of the past.
  12. Man you are on a roll today... I had to laugh when I read this. It is sooooo true, both sides sing the song of freedom while telling us all how to live...
  13. Always has... Sadly, always will... Today's level of intolerance is reaching heights we've not seen in a long time. JMHO B/A
  14. Yup it is a sad state of affairs... The dumbing down of America seems to be working. Just look at recent headlines...
  15. One other thing Jax.. I've always chosen to not like that song you seem stuck... I find it rather annoying. B/A
  16. I agree with most of your statement. But we do have to accept the obvious. How can you not accept fact? Is the earth round? Are there 24 hours in a day? Are there classes of society? Are there different religious beliefs? We can choose many things in our lives, but somethings have to be accepted. Fact is, there are 24 hours in a day. There are different classes of society. People do have different beliefs. The earth is round. I agree with you about having the right to choose, but I also understand there are somethings you just have to accept. I guess that is where we disagree. You seem to choose that you do not have to accept... Wow that was weird. B/A
  17. Having to accept that there are gray areas doesn't mean you can't choose which ones you prefer. So you do agree having to accept the fact there are gray areas, but want to choose the ones you prefer. I agree with that statement. However there are somethings that remain whether you choose to accept them or not.
  18. No truer words have ever been spoken... BTW I like coloring, but I don't stay inside the lines... LOL B/A
  19. I guess you didn't get the app. http://www.vta.org/getting-around/maps/map-of-locations-with-public-restrooms
  20. I watched The First Lady interview last night. I thought she did a good job. Funny thing is, it appears she doesn't enjoy politics and I got the feeling she isn't a big Clinton fan either. JMHO B/A
