IMHO, I would hope the person who's advice I choose to follow would choose option "B". It shows a more mature attitude and stronger self confidence in ones own abilities that over time have proven to be trustworthy. These are the traits that most self made successfull people share. Again IMHO, these traits are not the easy road to take. Which in turn brings Character into the picture. At the end of the day, the most important person that you will have to answer to is the person in the mirror... My vote is B

This is the most sensible advice yet! Cuts right to the thick of it. If the playground is too tough for you, I recommend you stay inside. Life is rarely fair. We don't get what we want all the time. You have to work hard and make it happen for yourself and your family. Don't wait for someone else to come in and do your work for you. Now, if you are personally getting attacked via this site, I have enough faith in the mods to take care of the issue fairly. Otherwise those that get offended easily because others disagree with their point of view need to either grow up or go play inside with the younger children. Most people here do follow the unspoken rule of treating others how they themselves want to be treated. Interesting, since politics are now outlawed here, I guess you go looking for the religous. My guess would be that since you don't fit the "Christian" type, you are not interested in becoming one yourself but just need something to argue about. This should be something the Mods should really be looking for....rather than those expressing their views about the political state we are in. To argue and instigate arguements is very different than just stating your opinion. You have been here long enought to know that the majority involved on this site are in fact Christians. Knowing this, by asking a simple question that is not related to the post, you ensure to insite another heated arguement. It is very apparent that you are not interested in learning but instead to argue. My advise to you and your friends sir, would be to go to FOX News, you will find plenty there that will argue with you till your heart is content. We here at this site are more alike it terms of basic beliefs than you must realize. There are those here that have different views but they are respectful and know how to discuss things in a respectful manner. Their intentions are not to try to stur up trouble just for arguements sake. That is the difference here. I for one have no more use for this site if individuals like yourself are allowed to roam free starting and instigating arguements that become heated to the point that no one knows what the original post really was about. It's because you are a Liberal that you just don't get it. No offence meant, because we conservatives can be the same way. One thing that should be noted is that most liberals actually live a conservative life style and just don't know it. If the world were to change to what they claim to be the best way, they would find that their everyday lives would be something altogether different. And there would be no one to blame. The freedoms they enjoy now would be gone, they could not ever become independantly wealthy because that would be a crime. Everyone would have to act, and behave in the same way. The very term Liberal makes you think of the definition of the word "liberation". But it's strange that the term conservative makes you think of one being non showy or quite in nature. When the conservatives are fighting for more personal freedoms and the liberals fight to control the same freedoms through government there becomes a basic lack of understanding between them. As for me, I am neither Republican or Democrat, I am an independant conservative. The reason I am this is because my personal belief is that what I want out of life for me and my family is what we have earned. If we become wealthy, so be it! This is the dream of every American and most every human on the face of the earth. To become finacially independant! This is a part of the dream that America was founded upon! And it still works today! Yeah you can waist your time downing the man who has achieved this and demonizing the wealthy, or you can go and make it happen for yourself! We all know who the masters of demonizing are and who instead offer real solutions that work and have been proven through hard work, just duck the questions and the issues by making the otherside's opinons look bad. So if all you can do when backed into a corner is to draw attention away from the real issues and cry racist and blame Bush or Obama then you know which side you are on. As for me I am done blaming and now my actions through my vote will do the talking for me. And as far as someone IMHO posting what and who you claim to be on their profile page, what does that matter? I mean really? It's like you are ashamed of who you are. If that is the case, you can always change sides.....and yes, that is a freedom we conservatives still fight for as well.

But things have come and gone that made me think it was going to happen right then (no not due to any thing related to Okie) but it didn't, so it's really hard to tell anymore. +1 from me, may you be right.

SKJ, if you are sad by what you say then you must feel sad concerning Islam. If you don't then you have no idea what Islam is. And the difference here is not a "Race" issue, but a belief issue from Islam it's self that teaches the very things you are against. Thus you can not compare this to any world religion, simply because it teaches intolerance and destruction and submission of all non-believers! So don't think that just because you are trying to get along that you will be somehow be spared! You are fooling yourself. That is what is really sad.

Detroitjazzman, yes I agree with you on this. I just want to point out that I know a few peaceful Muslims where I live and they seem to be nice people. I am not against anyone as long as they don't try to change America to be like their home country. If they come to America, they need to adjust to the American way of life. When the author of the post spoke of al-Hijra he did not mention that Muslims when they are in small numbers are friendly, but when there is a majority they tend to become violent and pushy (as seen all over the world right now) as directed by their holy book. They become more bold, and no longer want to abide by the laws or constitution of the country they live in. Just take a look at history. It is repeating it'self all over again.

Bang, do you know how many gun owners there WAS in London? The winner of the last Top Shot (TV reality show) has a story to tell about all of this. The guns are among the first to go. They all thought just like we are thinking now that it will never happen in America. They were wrong and so are we! I say we because not too long ago I thought as you did. That has changed now. Now I question anything that is P.C. Not trying to bash you in any way, and I do respect and I am very thankful for your service to our great country, but like the post said there is a war going on here in America that is not faught with guns or bombs. True, but it does not mean that this is not happening to America. We all know deep down wither we are on the right or left side of the isle that this is exactly what is happening. The left think that it is too late and we must embrace the end. Where as the right still believe that America can be saved and once again be the greatest nation on this planet. Just look at who has been pushing for all of the points mentioned in this speech. The Left. Is it no wonder why when they get into a corner they start crying racist and the like? And if you think being an American is racist then I would recommend you start packing now, because it no longer matters! What matters to us is that everyone has a chance to become an American! People need to really know what a true American should be. To find out, look to America's forefathers and see what they taught and how they lived. Again if you don't like that then keep packing. Yeah I know, there are some still claiming that it was our fault that they were dragged from their homes and put on a boat and forced to come to America to work for the rich cotton farmers. That time has come and gone, if you still feel the need to play the victim as to gain money and support so you won't have to work, I say fine! Since you are not interested in becoming an American then go back to Africa, Kenya, Mexico or any of the other foreign countries you came from! But if you want to become an American, then know what it is to be an American! For we are NOT a country of many countries but of one country. I've said this before and I know that it is the un-popular thing to say but here it is again - Iraqi's may seem like they have it together on the outside but until they change they way they think they will never get to the point of being able to be trusted by the outside world. They do not trust each other and will NOT trust each other. Their whole attitude is about how much power and money can they grab. We Americans have in past times been this way as well. But under it all we were united and brought together when we were attacked on 911. At that point in our history we were no longer separated by party lines who had different agendas but we were united as a country! America was once again thinking as one. I believe that only this will trigger the same to happen in Iraq. Right now would be a great time for Iran to attack! I know that is a terrible and sad thing to say, but think of what the outcome would be! Iraqi's know violence, they have lived with it for decades! Would they continue to fight amongst themselves? IMHO, they need a common enemy to rally against. Things would finally get DONE!

Now if only Obama would learn this simple easy to learn lesson! But besides all that, you have a good idea and great intentions. +1
