  1. You are only allowed one gift of up to $10k a year... so you could only cash one in per year. As far as taxes go...... it would be best to overpay in taxes and get a return. Most people don't understand that the government holds tax return money in bonds. If you overpay, you are getting your cash back, plus whatever the bonds pay in interest. It's the best return on investment, and the only safe investment outside of CDs or CDARS. As for myself, I'm giving ALL Dinar money into taxes, and I'll make 4 - 8% back on everything not owed. It's not an Obama thing.. it's a Fed thing. Know the Fed... know the system.
  2. ahhh... the world according to Fox. Again... you're better than this Barb.
  3. Dude... or dudette... I've already paid some 3 mil into taxes. So I've already paid for your health care. You're welcome. Does this person get a warning too for name calling?=)
  4. You're better than this Barbann.... I don't even know where to begin in dissecting this nugget. However, I have apologized to Watcher for calling him stupid and I'll even further it by apologizing to you if I have offended you in any way. I'm educated in the political field... so yeah, I do have understanding beyond what a typical person would, or could, understand. I'm trying to tell you how it is... not how you're told. Period. If you don't want the information, fine by me. Remain poor and wonder why you are........ As for myself, I'm already retired so not a whole lot gets me worked up. I'm not even 35 and I still have a long life ahead of me.... I just find it sad that the poorest of people still try to uphold those who want to keep them poor. (((shrugs))) You can lead a horse to water......... Either way.. as I said... I'm done. I'm going to bed.. and tomorrow I don't have to work. Tuesday I don't have to work... Wednesday... nope.... why? I don't know... because I understand how the system works.. I understand who is really in charge... and I made money off of them. Just like the Dinar..... want to know how to make money from war? Follow the money... who is making out.... and grab a piece of the pie. This is all we have done.... and it didn't take a Republican or Democrat to tell us to do so.
  5. Don't worry.. I'm laughing for you. We can agree to disagree... yet the fact remains, history proves conservative ideology to be a completely dysfunctional, and unsustainable thought process. And no... I don't watch MSNBC... or any corporate news agency. They all have the same general thought process regarding the endeavors of man. Of which, is hardly accurate.....
  6. Last point and I'm signing off...... First off, I do want to apologize for calling someone stupid... that was out of line, and for it, I apologize. With that said, I find this entire health bill, and those who oppose it, completely absurd on every level. Look, I graduated with a degree in Political Science... I was a Page in Washington and I've worked with both Republican and Democratic leaders in the Senate and the House. I'm sorry, but the average American simply has NO IDEA what shapes policy in Washington. The average American has absolutely NO IDEA how easily they are led around by the nose by the power structure. It is because of this I left Washington. It's a crooked place full of crooked people. However, with the ousting of Bush and his cronies, the passing of this legislation, and the disarmament of both Russia and the US (in case anyone has paid attention to that deal), I feel for the first time.... we are, the people, finally getting a little something back. Anything short of that and it's simply re-hashing of what you've heard from somewhere else..... and I find that grossly disappointing as an American. I'm done.... carry on as you always have. Peasants in a country in which you should have all the control... yet have NONE. But hey... Fox has great ratings so they must know what's up, right? Riiiiiiggggghhhhhttttttt
  7. Actually you couldn't be further from the truth. However, I will state that I am not, by any means, a conservative Republican. After all, it's these people who have been on the wrong side of history. Facts? Okay... let's run some great moments in conservative history and see how they stack up: Conservatives: Dead set against allowing black people into white schools Outcome: Epic fail Conservatives: Was sure the Earth was flat Outcome: Epic fail Conservatives: Was sure we lived in a geocentric universe Outcome: Epic fail Conservatives: burned thousands of women at the stake for being witches Outcome: Epic fail Conservatives: Believed black people were given to whites by God himself to serve the white community Outcome: Epic fail Conservatives: Believed Medicaid and Medicare was the second coming of Marxism Outcome: Epic fail Conservatives: brought us such great and enlightening periods as the Dark Ages and the Crusades Outcome: Epic fail So my question to you is simply this: When have they been correct? About anything? History has shown them to be a group of bumbling idiots... over and over again. What makes them correct in governing now? After all, we gave W 8 years to get it right. How did that end up? EPIC FAIL
  8. Here you go... how about a report from F.A.I.R (Fairness and accuracy in reporting): http://www.fair.org/index.php?page=1072
  9. Barbann... with all due respect, nothing, and I mean NOTHING happens in the country without corporate America's say so. If you don't understand that simple fact, I'm afraid you don't understand anything about the country in which you inhabit. For all the rhetoric involving what is right and what is wrong, corporate American continues on how it always has: with nary a care about America, or what it stands for; with nary a care about you or I. Corporate America is about one thing and one thing only: Profit for shareholders. This entire country is run by what pleases shareholders the most. If you don't understand that, or grasp what it means, I'm sorry, but you'll be left out of a lot of decision making. With that said, I'm not naive enough to think that there weren't deals in this bill. The fact that the bill went through at all shows there were deals. This goes for ANY deal that goes through ... EVER. But again, you won't, as a lowly peasant, have to endure whether to to pay for your bills or get a heart surgery so you can survive. This is the crux of the argument. Everything else is as Chomsky put it, "emotionally potent oversimplifications". Which is a nice way to say: Argument points for your particular party. Which is, of course, exactly what they want us doing... arguing back and forth over nothing while they continue to maintain a profit structure that serves only them. And when I say "they" I don't mean some shadow, or undefinable grouping of people.... I very clearly mean corporate America: The new masters for the 21st century. This really isn't that hard to follow.... provided, of course, you read books and not take your local and national tv news as gospel truth. Just my two cents......
  10. hahaha... now THAT'S funny. You mean the news organization rated as the worlds' greatest hate-speech provider next to Al-Jezeera? You mean the news organization linked to more disinformation than any other? Those guys? No thanks.....
  11. After all, that's what Fox told me...... <-------- you forgot to add this to your post.
  12. hahahahahahahahahahaha... marxist country. Do you realize how stupid you actually sound? I'm embarrassed for you.
  13. Last time I checked, this was a forum for dinar rumors. This isn't your flat-earth playground. Furthermore, I'm sorry your opinion has been shaped by corporate America so much that you cannot see this bill does one thing, and one thing only: Life and death is no longer a dollar figure. If you can't see that, then I'm afraid you're even more foolish than your post suggests.
  14. With all due respect, but this was written by Nietzsche in his later years when he was suffering from mental illness. I'm a fan of his work, make no mistake... but this is not one of his finest, most mentally sound, philosophical musings.
  15. I'm not really sure I trust christian men to be honest with you. I mean these are the same people that brought us such enlightening periods as the Dark Ages and the Crusades. On top of that, because most christians take their book to be a literal interpretation from God, I'm not sure how intelligent they are either. Christians don't have a corner-hold on morality... they only think they do; which makes them both stupid and scary. Who knows though... maybe Frank will pray for me and I'll be saved so I can have my 40 virgins in heaven... oh wait, there aren't 40 virgins in the christian heaven, silly me. So many God interpretations, so little time.
  16. Well the article says they would decide soon..... then you post that it doesn't look like anything is going to happen soon. I fail to see your rationale. I also fail to see how this is disappointing considering news coming from the Iraqi government is spotty, at best, and here is an article right from the horse's mouth that says the Iraqi Dinar WILL grow stronger.... and a decision on how strong it will grow will come SOON. How is this disappointing? Is the glass half full or is it half empty? You decide.
  17. Mike, I think you're failing to see his point. I understand where you're coming from in regards to their currency being worthless. But if they take off three 0's from the 25,000 notes, they also do that across the board - irrespective of the "new" notes being issued. Sure you can use a 25,000 note to buy something in Iraq, but it will only be recognized as $25. To further the exercise, as they take off three zeros, they also do it to the exchange rate to where 1170/1 becomes 1.17/1 - and thus the RV at 1.17. However, just because they do this, it doesn't mean we have to exchange into US dollars immediately. I feel the future of Iraqi currency WILL be on par, at minimum, with other currencies in the Middle East. But, IMO, I do think it means we won't be cashing in millions.... we'll be cashing in a few thousand (1,000,000IQD becomes 1,000IQD @ 1.17 = $1,170 US dollars..... or you could hold and 1,000IQD @ a future rate of 3.17 = 3,170. And a three-fold increase on your investment.).
  18. Yes, this is correct. However, and this goes with everything I've said, don't take my word for it. Consult a competent cpa or other tax professional. I am not a tax professional. But my wife is and it was her, as well as her partners, recommendation that dinar be bought through the company specifically for tax reasons. So we did. All that I've said previously comes from her and those she is partners with.... all very competent tax professionals.
  19. I agree that there could be contingencies.... and the IRS may just up and change the rules for how dinar investment will be looked at. But at it stands now, with dinar being put into the category of capital gains (this is the IRS who put it there), you could absolutely have your business own the dinar and not pay taxes; IF, and that is a huge IF, there were a suspension of capital gains taxes for small business. There is nothing illegal about doing it. Nothing fishy. It's knowing the tax law and using it to your advantage. It's not really about what the investment is, it's how the IRS will slot the investment into the tax code. And right now, dinar is a capital gain.
  20. IF Obama is able to suspend taxes for small business, it would open a loop hole to where we wouldn't have to pay taxes at all on the dinar. It's how I bought my dinar in the first place. Here's the answer: If you already have an LLC, as I do, this process is very easy. If not, by all means, you would be well-off to set up an LLC for SOMETHING.... consulting if you can't find anything viable to base your business on. Next, after filing the business within your state, and getting your tax ID number, open a bank account in your business name... put a little operating capital in the account. If you purchase dinar after you've done this, use your business checks to pay for it. Dinar now becomes assets for the company. If you happened to purchase your dinar BEFORE you've set up your company and bank account, simply draft a proof of purchase that states your company has bought the dinar from YOU the individual. Have your company write you a check for the sale price. Have the purchase contract, with photocopies of the check, put into a purchase package, then have it notarized by a local notary to make it legal. Once you've done this, your company owns the dinar free and clear and IF there are no capital gains taxes for small business... you don't owe taxes on the maturation of your dinar investment. His statement about cutting capital gains taxes for small business investment was, by far, the best thing, personally, I heard all night long in that speech. My company, and my wife's company, own all of our dinar. Mainly because we have business expenses, and other investment off-sets, that would mitigate some of the tax burden when it came to cashing in.
