  1. I stay PRO RV simply because I have faith. I would not even be aware of dinar if I had not been directed in some pretty weird ways to check it out. To long to go into now, but believe me when I say, to many simply strange things occured all at once to lead me into this speculation. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD and I reckon I am good as I can be (by His Finished work, not mine) .. Perhaps when the book comes out, I will be allowed to enter my own chapter to it. The strange strange story of the Iraqi dinar, and the purposes of God. So while I watch the papers and forex, while I read and study, I still put all my faith in the LORD JESUS, HE IS Jehovah Jired, my provider.
  2. Several reasons I am PRO RV, but the overwhelming need for an internationally traded currency is the top reason I believe the Iraqi dinar will RV. To be a world "player" in todays markets, Iraq will have to allow goods and services into the country. They will also need to supply goods and services to other countries. This will cause business men to travel in and out of Iraq. Exchanging the currency is a must in order for many nations to have a role in the building of Iraqs infrastructure and businesses. Flying in and out of the country will be necessary, so currency exchange will also be necessary. For instance; A business man from Europe, using Euros must exchange his homeland currency in order to purchase room and board in Iraq (even his food), then going back to his native country, Iraq dinar is not accepted so once again he must exchange the currency back to his own native Euro. This exchange would have to be global. (The business man may be from China, or Canada.) Every country must have a currency that is useful. The way it is now, if I go into Iraq, I would exchange my 1 dollar for 1170 dinars...making it an unreasonable amont to manage for a weeks stay. To have an exchange rate so inflated only adds to confusion. Should my 1 USA dollar be equal to Iraqi 1 dinar ...or even the Iraq dinar equal to 1 Euro, the exhange will be much more effective. As a business man in Iraq, I may need to order goods from another country. My money must be internationally recognized so that I can effectively run my business in Iraq. Our world has become much smaller, and in every country the currency must be either accepted as valued currency or it must be able to be traded quickly and exchanged easily. The Iraqi dinar is not yet internationally exchanged. The countries currency marks the entire value of the country. Iraq still stands as a poverty country regardless of the oil. Their currency has set the world view of Iraq. IF they desire to be seen as a country in their own strength, they will revalue the dinar. I believe they will revalue it at a greater value than any of their neighbors currency. (Pride will cause Iraq to take a place in the countries of the world...and that is only possible with an RV)
  3. I also read somewhere that you would have a "three month" time frame to exchange your big banknotes for the new smaller notes, and that would only be allowed inside iraq. In other words; if you do not exchange your large banknotes within the accepted time frame, you will just lose them completely. Anyone else heard of a "time frame" for the exchange?
  4. So if one dollar now buys 1170 dinars Soon one dollar will only buy 1.17 dinar? Is that what this is saying?
  5. At the end of last month, a spokesman for the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) told reporters that a plan to redenominate the Iraqi dinar will be presented to the Council of Ministers in the near future. (Seehereand here.) The Council is then expected to submit the relevant legislation to Parliament for a vote. If the lawmakers approve the project, all existing banknotes will be replaced with new currency at the rate of 1,000 old dinar for one new over some unspecified period of time. Given Parliament’s current backlog, this change can hardly be imminent. Still, you might think they could get around to voting on the CBI’s proposal some time before the end of this year. In that case, the redenomination could presumably be completed by the end of 2012. http://www.iraq-businessnews.com/2011/07/05/new-dinars-for-old/
  6. I was raised on a working farm. Everything we did was a speculation; planting corn, we were speculating that we would not have a dry season, buying steers to raise, we speculated that they would not get into 'stagger" or die from some disease....even raising tobacco was a speculation, (would the blight ruin it, would the price stay up, would there be enough rain, would blue mold hit it..) In every thing we did you would be correct to say we were speculating on a better return that what we put into it. Most of the time it paid off, so then we had a good Christmas and I had new school clothes. Other times several cows would find the stagger and we would lose them, or the market was down and we barely made the expense back that we had in them. (And my cousins would send me hand me downs for school) No matter. The one thing that never changed was that the time from the investment, until the time for the return seemed way to long. Waiting for the harvest has always been difficult. But there is nothing for it but to wait. No amount of growling ever made the corn grow faster. There is a time, and in that time we will prosper somewhat, depending upon the climate of Iraq and the health of the economy. This is just another speculation, I believe it will pay to hang on. At the same time I believe we should also put another crop in the ground for diversified investments. Precious metal looks good to me. (Gold and silver) Iraq will have to have internationally traded currency to compete with it's own neighbors soon enough. The people themselves need to be able to buy and sell. Hang on.
  7. * Retail banking important for Iraq's financial stability By Serena Chaudhry BAGHDAD, May 9 (Reuters) - Iraq plans to introduce a $15-20 million central payment system within a year as it looks to tap into mobile and internet banking to help boost transactions in its private retail banking sector, officials said on Monday. The project, based on a memorandum of agreement between Iraq's central bank and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), will allow individuals and businesses to make and receive interbank and international payments electronically via a single gateway. "It is a very important project, increasing the capacity of private banking ... so we co-operate fully with this project," said central bank Governor Sinan al-Shibibi, adding he expected the system to be online in the coming year. "Access to information, access to accounts, movement of accounts. All these things will be very important to maintain stability of the system in general." Iraq hopes the IPS (Iraq payment system), which will allow customers to bank using their mobile phones and the Internet, will help spur activity in its relatively dormant private retail banking sector. Iraq's banking sector is dominated by two state-owned banks, Rafidain and Rashid. Many Iraqis trust these banks as they have known them for a long time compared to private banks, which are often reluctant to lend in the absence of an efficient court system which can settle disputes. REGULATORY FRAMEWORK The mobile phone market, which did not exist under Saddam Hussein, has boomed since the 2003 U.S.-led invasion that toppled him, although Internet penetration in the country remains low at three percent. Carl Rosenquist, of banking technology company Monetics, which is involved in implementing the retail payments system, said he expected the project to cost around $15-20 million and hoped to finish it within 12 months. However, the success of the project relies on Iraq approving the required legislation to mandate that local banks connect their banking systems to a central payments system. "This is crucial. And the same goes for the mobile payment system and the SWIFT (global financial transaction system). If they do not mandate the use of it, then it is useless," Rosenquist said. The IPS is also expected to help instil confidence among Iraqis in the country's banking system as a centralised electronic gateway that would help track any illegal transactions, reduce dependence on cash and would be a faster and more secure method for banking, officials said. "We must create transactions because this is how the banking system works ... To make banking and payments available any time and for anybody," said Rosenquist, who has implemented similar banking systems in other places around the world including the Philippines and Maldives. 8. It does matter what you believe. The Holy Scriptures have been debated and discussed for many many years, yet by the power of the Almighty they are still the same. We can get into a long and useless discussion on men and the failings of men...yet the WORD of GOD remains true. Men will come and go, but the WORD of GOD continues. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with YHWH, and the Word was YHWH. The same was in the beginning with YHWH. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." (John 1:1-5) "Therefore YHWH himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." (Isaiah 7:14) "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. "(Isaiah 9:6-7) "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of YHWH, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of YHWH. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. "(John 1:10-14) "Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:"(Romans 1:3-4) "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. "(1 Timothy 3:16) "And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. " (1 John 5:20) It is not what my grandfather taught me, nor what my father taught me, it is what the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD has taught me, that gives me knowledge of the ONE TRUE and LIVING GOD. (all scripture is by inspiration of the HOLY SPIRIT) ...when you are born again by the SPIRIT, you will also understand the LIVING WORD. The LORD our GOD is ONE LORD. And יהושע answered him, "The first of all the commands is, ‘Hear, O Yisra’ĕl, יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one. (Mark 12:29) This wisdom does not come from beneath...from the natural man. You must chose to accept the Word of God, by faith and it is by His Grace that you will be born of the Spirit, so that you can fully understand the WORD that IS TRUTH. Jesus Christ; Yahshua our Messiah, is the TRUTH, in Him is LIFE. The decision is yours to chose LIFE, for He has set before you life and death, he has finished the work of redemption for the whole world, but you must chose Life.
  9. I have already seen in my own life, a great shifting of purpose for the RV. IF it had happened when I first invested...I would have used it much differently. As my life has changed so has my needs and so has my purpose and plans for the RV. I think it is a given it WILL RV...(what country does not have it's own currency of value?)...I also think it is hindered by greedy men and spiritual wickedness in high places. I know and believe YHVH is Greater than any man or spiritual wickedness and in HIS time it will RV and bring HIM glory. There are some who would still answer to God for the misuse of the money, but that is as it has always been. His eye is over all the world and this is the riches HE has laid up (the rich oil fields) since the beginning. He is longsuffering ...we will be patient too. The ordained time is soon, we will be Kept by our Father in heaven, Who owns all the hills and all the cattle upon the hills...the world is His footstool...He will provide at exactly the right time. We need only pray and continue in prayer. Many needs will be met by His provision, both in our personal lives and in the lives of those He seeks to reveal Himself to.
  10. Talk about sticking you neck out....well, I am about to stick my own neck out. I venture to suggest that the spiritual stronghold; the prince of the kingdom of Persia is still at large and active. It is important to know that even when Daniel prayed his answer was prevented from reaching him, by the prince of the power of the air. This "Prince of Persia" withstood a mighty archangel and it took the warring angel Michael to come to his aid before the answer to Daniel's prayer reached him. By faith I am praying in the Name of my LORD and Saviour' Yahshua our Messiah, Jesus the Christ to send warring angels to chain the hands of the prince of Persia. We fight against spiritual wickedness in high places and we do it in the authority of the Name of the LORD JESUS; Yahshua our MESSIAH. יהושע is the Messiah......Jesus is the Christ Deuteronomy 4:39 "And you shall know today, and shall recall to your heart that יהוה Himself is Elohim in the heavens above and on the earth beneath; there is none else.
  11. 1 Peter 5:13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son. Peter says that there were believers located at Babylon, and even a church there. 11 verses in the New Testament speak of Babylon. A simple word search for "Babylon" is found in 268 verses in the OLD and NEW testaments of the Holy Scriptrures. (with 302 hits). I guess that could be why we believer's (the elect) watch Babylon being rebuilt with such interest.
  12. Why would Iraqi citizens be lining up at the banks??? IF they have the New Dinar they will NOT be going to the banks...they will be trying to buy food and daily living items. They will be trying to buy a nicer home and transportation. It is not the Iraqi citizen who will be "cashing in"....they will now be able to afford a better life style, and I would think they would be heading to the real estate markets, the grocery stores, and furniture stores as well as being finally able to live a lifestyle at least equal to their surrounding neighbors. New businesses will start up and the people of Iraq will finally know the reward of patience. For a country that is war torn and struggling to live day to day, the RV will allow the people there to be able to order nicer furishings and clothing for the children. They will be able to finally have an intrastructure completed with good water and electricy. No I do not think the Iraqi banks need to worry about a "run" on the banks...they will see their economy improve and all the people will understand the priviledge of computers, nice schools, hospitals and medicines that their neighbors have known for years. Why would they "cash in" on their own money? That is like saying; "We are going to take all of our currency and "cash in" for another countries currency...pointless. Well.... Just a thought.
  13. The evidence listed below is the most compelling I have seen for the position that the belief in a diety and the idea that one can talk to; (pray to) and the idea that there is ONE who is unseen but all seeing...is a great reason to behave in a socially acceptable way. That is what common sense is. To avoid punishment, and to hope for reward is the simple design of BELIEVING. To Pray or Not to Pray. Below are just a few of the examples featured in Barton's report. A. Young People 1. For 15 years before 1963 pregnancies in girls ages 15 through 19 years had been no more than 15 per thousand After 1963 pregnancies increased 187% in the next 15 years. 2. For younger girls, ages 10 to 14 years, pregnancies since 1963 are up 553%. 3. Before 1963 sexually transmitted diseases among students were 400 per 100,000. Since 1963, they were up 226% in the next 12 years. B. The Family 1. Before 1963 divorce rates had been declining for 15 years. After 1963 divorces increased 300% each year for the next 15 years. 2. Since 1963 unmarried people living together is up 353% 3. Since 1963 single parent families are up 140%. 4. Since 1963 single parent families with children are up 160%. C. Education 1. The educational standard of measure has been the SAT scores. SAT scores had been steady for many years before 1963. From 1963 they rapidly declined for 18 consecutive years, even though the same test has been used since 1941. 2. In 1974-75 the rate of decline of the SAT scores decreased, even though they continued to decline. That was when there was an explosion of private religious schools. There were only 1000 Christian schools in 1965. Between 1974 to 1984 they increased to 32,000. a. That could have an impact if the private schools had higher SAT scores. In checking with the SAT Board it was found that indeed the SAT scores for private schools were nearly 100 points higher than public schools. b. In fact the scores were at the point where the public schools had been before their decline started in 1963 when prayer and Bible reading/ instruction was removed from the schools. c. The scores in the public schools were still declining. 3. Of the nation's top academic scholars, three times as many come from private religious schools, which operate on one-third the funds as do the public schools. D. The Natio 1. Since 1963 violent crime has increased 544%. 3. Illegal drugs have become an enormous & uncontrollable problem. 2. The nation has been deprived of an estimated 30 million citizens through legal abortions just since 1973. Read more: http://dinarvets.com...0#ixzz1JSd1mvyj There is a single emptiness in humans that can only be filled with the Truth. Nothing else will fulfill or fill the God shaped hole in our hearts. The Battle is indeed in the head and that is exactly where you must decide to BELIEVE. You have a free will and may chose to believe or not believe, but do not expect the battle to just go away because one day you make a decision to believe in God and have a nice feeling inside. The Battle still rages and it is still in your own head. Many things will try to discourage your faith. Yet, we are told that the just shall live by faith. It is not easy, yet it is rewarding ....even here on earth and the hope of rewards in the eternal life to come. I experienced a near death experience a few years ago....my life has never been the same. It is ALL true. There is more than just this life. I was unaware of my seperation until I was shocked back into my body, so I did not have an out of body experience...I was simply with another who spoke to me and took me places. I saw, I felt, I smelled, and I heard. In other words my natural senses were all working. I communicated with another and I felt LOVE. Not love that you feel here in the natural. Solid love. Anyway, as I read these discussions, I was dismayed to see that some would reduce "faith" down to a limited understanding of the unknown. Faith is what you have...a noun. Belief is what you do with it...a verb. The sstatement; "I know that God exsists by faith and I show my faith by believing it to be true." is most clearly understood in our actions and not our words. In any case, religion defined as knowing that there is a Greater Power, an ALL Mighty Sovereign God Who is ALL Knowing and Always with us is indeed most benefitful to society. On the other hand, the organized religious cults, and groups, that form around one man or one idea, can hinder society according to their beliefs and actions. Religion in that respect will not only send you to hell, but will make life hell on earth. True religion, the belief in One True Living GOD promotes social interaction and does society good in many ways. The remark made by someone earlier said that prayer does not work (they made the claim that it was proven it does not work)....SORRY...it is actually PROVEN that PRAYER DOES WORK in many hospital studies. I worked in the medical field for many years and know by my own experience it does, and have read more than one study showing that those people who were prayed for had a much greater chance of survival, and a more rapid recovery. http://www.plim.org/PrayerDeb.htm http://www.scienceda...01214085328.htm http://www.suite101....-for-me-a202806 This topic has been of growing interest to some scientists, and a significant number of controlled studies have shown that prayer can actually have real measurable effects. 14. By the way....just as soon as this RV occurs, I will be publishing my own book; "Retarded by Religion"...I will send you a copy. It is not the belief in something Bigger than ourselves that causes the problems...it is "organized" religion. That man made institution that has distorted the true worship and appreciation for the Diety. Look for it as soon as the RV hits...well, maybe a week or so afterwards. GO RV!
  15. Mat 5:21¶Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: Mat 5:44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;KJV Thou shalt NOT kill
  16. OF course! religion offers social benefits. It is my fear of G-d that keeps me from simply blowing away people who annoy me. I can already hear the replies; "Some might make it a religion to blow away those who annoy them"....but true religion...the belief in diety and responcibility for ones' actions will always cause people to behave in a way that is socially acceptable. IN a way that the Diety (G-d) would approve of. Behaving in a way to gain rewards and not punishments. As an organized enity, religion keeps us focused on the knowledge of One Who is Greater than our desires, our wants, our emotions and our pains. The focus that allows us to overcome obstacles that would otherwise cause us to simply quit trying to be reasonable and rationable. Stealing, lying, cheating, and murder would be the accepted way to behave. Wrong religion is dangerous in that it teaches us wrong morals and leads us into personal destruction. (emotional, physical, and spiritual destruction) Humans are herd animals and will desire to group together. Herd animals follow an order..called a "pecking order". In humans that order is to follow the IDEAL of Soverign G-D. To follow the ideals of righteousness and truth. Eternal Truth. By following the BELIEF in Diety, humans now have a greater goal than Just surviving...now the goal is to be eternally accepted. Religion sets standards for humans to live by to be accepted eternally. These standards are more than one person in control and therefor easy to live for. If it were only one human trying to set standards...well, we would most likely simply kill them off and try to take that position for ourselves. (pecking order displayed again) Religion assures us that we must maintain a constant innner awareness and responcibility. My fear of hell and my hope of heaven, keep me focused on my own behaviour so that I do not shoot those who offend me, instead I forgive them and believe Almighty God knows it and will reward me. I think that would be a social benefit (or is it?? some of them really... ...well.. let's don't go there... )

  18. I remember Renaults....they look different now Renault cars
  19. In 2010, Bagdad signed a new agreement with both the IMF and World Bank for conditional aid programs that will help strengthen Iraq's economic institutions. Some reform-minded leaders within the Iraqi government are seeking to pass laws to strengthen the economy. This legislation includes a package of laws to establish a modern legal framework for the oil sector and a mechanism to equitably divide oil revenues within the nation, although these and other important reforms are still under contentious and sporadic negotiation. Iraq's recent contracts with major oil companies have the potential to greatly expand oil revenues, but Iraq will need to upgrade its oil processing, pipeling, and export infrastructure to enable these deals to reach their potential. The Government of Iraq is pursuing a strategy to gain additional foreign investment in Iraq's economy. This includes an amendment to the National Investment Law, multiple international trade and investment events, as well as potential participation in joint ventures with state-owned enterprises. Provincial Councils also are using their own budgets to promote and facilitate investment at the local level. However, widespread corruption, inadequate infrastructure, insufficient essential services, and antiquated commercial laws and regulations stifle investment and continue to constrain the growth of private, non-energy sectors. The Central Bank has successfully held the exchange rate at approximately 1,170 Iraqi dinar/US dollar since January 2009. Inflation has decreased consistently since 2006 as the security situation has improved. However, Iraqi leaders remain hard pressed to translate macroeconomic gains into improved lives for ordinary Iraqis. Unemployment remains a problem throughout the country. Reducing corruption and implementing reforms - such as bank restructuring and developing the private sector - would be important steps in this direction. C.I.A. information on Iraq
  20. In order to facilate ALL obstacles to investments...I would think a globally traded currency would certainly help matters along. Iraq is not an independant nation if it does not have it's own currency. A currency that is recongized by the WTO as valuable. The Iraqi Dinar is almost worthless as it is now. Why would any company invest in a country that does not pay its people with anything of value? It only causes unrest and fighting as people try to survive. This world has become a small planet and world trade is accepted as a matter of fact for the countries of the world. However Iraq has been isolated and the people of Iraq have been oppressed by worthless currency and greed. I believe that the liberation of the people of Iraq will soon demand a revalued dinar and the sooner that can happen the sooner the life styles of those peoples can begin to rebuild. Investors, and work force. Crews of local people as well as foreign investors working together with an acceptable and valuable currency ...currency that is at least on par with the surrounding nations. It appears that Iraq does not want to have it's people to prosper and do well. It appears that the ones who are in leadership over Iraq do not care about their own people and their needs. How could I buy from Iraq if I wanted to purchase a product made there? It is impossible until they have a currency worth something. I can order from Kuwait or Jordan, or any number of surrounding countries, buying products made there, however Iraq has closed its doors on international trade and the people of Iraq are the ones who are suffering because of it. To facilate investments in Iraq they must Revalue their currency soon. To see economic growth, the people must be paid in currency of value. Currency they can be proud of, so that they can work to earn it. The people of Iraq suffer while the world watches amazed at this simple inequality. When people are working and earning a good wage, they will not have time to fight among themselves. When people work for a living, they have a good reason to be proud and to invest in more local businesses. People do not work for nothing. People work to be paid. Paid with a currency that can be used anywhere they desire. Currency that they can be proud of. Working men do not have the energy or time to fight, and do not want to when they are able to provide for their families. Facilate economic growth???? Revalue the dinar and see your own people ready to work for a decent days wages. That is economic growth. People with money, spend money. It is called consumers and that facilates economic growth. Oppressed peoples fight, and in their oppression they do not mind dying. Working peoples spend, and that is called economic growth.
