  1. With regard to the Central Bank’s issuance of a new denomination of the local currency, he said, “We are working to issue a new denomination of 20 thousand dinars in order to keep pace with the requirements and to match the neighboring countries,” adding that “we will begin announcing the new denomination after completing its requirements.” Just checked and the neighboring countries doesn’t have a 20,000 note except Iran. Not sure if he was referring to Iran when he made this statement because there’s nothing to match with all the other neighboring countries….
  2. Good evening yota, Sounds like Iran getting their Iraqi government settled up. Al Sadr will never go for this Iranian arrangement and to insult him by giving him 6 ministers should really make him mad….
  3. Ahh, a sweet tweet from Al-Sadr… Can’t you just hear Iraq and Iran sitting around the palace round table singing cum ya la smoking the peace pipe and forming the next government… The question of unity has never been the issue with Iran, it’s been the reluctance of Iraq not to allow Iran to name their PM or President…. Once Iraq cows down and allow Iran to run their country then Al Sadr can pursue this Unity and Reconciliation which he speaks of…
  4. JonnyV, if Iran isn’t in charge could you explain why after a year since the elections there still isn’t a government in place… Curious minds would like to know…
  5. I guess the pizza boy kaperoni saves some time now days, he just copies and paste the same garbage he’s been spewing for years…
  6. These poor ignorant fools are probably thinking oil will stay at 115.00 dollars a barrel forever. For a country who can’t form a government after a year from the elections probably think they will continue to bank a billion dollars a week…sad
  7. America is the last country to take economic advice from. America needs to stay out of the Iraq internal affairs and if they have all that extra time on their hands they could do something about the crisis at the border…. Just my opinion of course….
  8. I’m not sure if I agree with some of Al-Sadr chess moves. )The first would be the reasoning behind making his parliament members resign. ) The second would be the reasoning behind sending your followers into the streets to be killed by the Iranian militia. ) The third would be his reasoning behind pressuring the Federal Court to resolve the parliament which they can’t do. The list continues but I’m sure he has an endgame to his madness.
  9. Al Sadr has the same problem that Trump has, he’s not a politician. On one hand you have a preacher and the other a real estate business man. Both are good men and mean well but just don’t know how to get in the dirt. Al Sadr has messed around and let Maliki and Iran push him around for the past 10 months. I won’t even go there with Trump. Al Sadr needs some advice from some real cut throat and shifty smart lawyers. He should have had Maliki tied up in the courts months ago….
  10. That could be of some value, maybe. yota, have you seen any articles throughout your daily news browsing about Iraq setting up a lot of satellite banks in the USA?
  11. Ron, I figure your pretty spot on with your suspect about these articles being pure BS. Remember your in the BS section of DV….
  12. They have lied and deceived the sheep of Iraq for so long that they will believe any garbage that’s told to them by the corrupt politicians. Halbousi can call for 10 more dialogue sessions and come up with the same results. Until this form of government is dissolved in Iraq and a new one in place, this will continue forever. There’s too many tribes, religious beliefs and countries involved for these corrupt politicians to agree on anything……
  13. To many Sadrist citizens killed the other day and not enough Iranians. Maliki sees no reason to change anything at the moment and is trying to move to form the government without Sadr. I’m beginning to wonder if new elections would work, Iran would have the same people on the ballot. Not sure where the police and military was last week when all the shooting started but it’s obvious there was no crowd control. My belief now is nothing is gonna change until Al-Sadr organizes and arms his militia to run the Iranians out of Iraq…
  14. HCR, when I was there is was used as the military’s home base with all their offices. That’s where they had all the ceremonies and where the big shots would go when in town. It appears that’s what the GOI is using it for as well…
  15. I think that’s a pretty smart move distancing himself from the political circus. Now he can focus his full time on organizing and planning his next move with his militia. I’m curious as to whom will take over his party because I’m pretty sure he’s not going to let Maliki back in power. Al-Sadr will work behind the curtains going forward it appears….
  16. You would think that the average Kurdish with half a brain could figure out that all these trips to Baghdad is just for show. Barzani will travel to Baghdad this month and the PM ever that would be will travel to Irbil the next month. You would think this would be exhausting after awhile but hey, you gotta do whatever it takes to manipulate the sheep…
  17. That’s been the problem for the last 15 plus years, as long as the do nothing parliament members gets paid everything is cool. Al-Sadr needs to pull a Sadam Hussein and just take over the military and get the Iranians out of Iraq once and for all. Then you can for new elections, simple….
  18. I’m betting next week we see the parliament dissolved. The court has to show that Maliki doesn’t own them and this will get Al-Sadr off their back for awhile….
  19. You go preacher man, waiting months for a meeting to last only 30 minutes surely pissed off the terrorist leader. I’m also pretty sure Al Sadr did most of the talking in that 30 minutes….I’m loving it.
  20. LMAO!!! And this bunch of thieves in parliament is any different from the rest… Getting paid for not going to work, they are getting more and more Americanized by the day….
