I would love it if they did anything with the rate. I would think though, that whoever is in power would love to be the one to get the dinar revalued. That would make the people of Iraq want to keep that person in power for as long as they can. At least I would if I were them!

Well frankie...... we are all in the same dream! It is just that we all wake up and can be realistic. Gosh Betty...I think it started as a dream, and has turned into a nightmare!

It is crazy how often we hear that they are educating the people for all this exchange stuff. They have been doing it since I got involved in this years and years ago. Probably since they were in grade school. These people should have college degrees in finance by now after all the education. Probably, no one left to educate.

Not betting on anything during Ramadan. Don't mind hanging out with you all, but not much is going to happen for a while now. That won't stop Frankie, Mark Z, or any of our other guru's from predicting something everyday! They do have great imagination's to be able to come up with something everyday, or several times a day. Fortunately, I don't mind reading fiction! I do find some humor in it though.

They have committee's for committee's! It is no wonder that can't get anything done! Then when a committee does get something done, one of the other committees blow it out of the water! Massive Incompetence!

Iraq is building up their gold reserves, so that is a great thing. That, plus the oil reserves, is a very strong backing for a nice revaluation.

Mnt Goat ...I have to come on an clarify the false rumors...about the IQD backside trading that is taking place. Read my lips- THERE IS NO BACKSIDE, BACKDOOR OR ??? trading being conducted on the IQD. If you want to buy it you can go to the Iraqi Stock Exchange (ISX) and the rate is the official rate minus the trading of demand curve for the day... So ... Thursday the ISX dinar sales closed at 1309 (not $3.09) dinars per one US dollar compared to the CBI official rate of 1320. END of all the rumors...Done! ...There is no back office, government or other side trading before it goes LIVE to the public. Tell me this is not true...All these years here, and there is no backside, backdoors, green screens, back screens... I am very discouraged! Next they will say there is no redemption centers, and 1-800 numbers!

I don't disagree with this, because it would help the world economy, but to say that JP Morgan said it is bad. I believe that this will happen someday, and yes everyone will benefit. Mark Z ... bad ... revalue...good!

Thank you for the offer, but I will hold out. I like a lot of people want out, but not at a loss. We will just have to wait for these crazy people to get their act together.

Personally, I think a lot of people are ready to get out, so if they came out at .10, I think some people are gone. I want a lot more for all the abuse, but we will see what happens.

As far as I know, the dinars outside of Iraq will be collected by the treasuries, and held. They will not go back to Iraq right away if ever. When we turn them in here in the USA, we will get our money deposited right to our account, after they verify them. Then, after that, they will be sent to the US Treasury, so there would be no reason for Iraq to open banks around the world to collect dinars. All they have to do is revalue the currency, and "poof", the old dinars disappear!

Don't know how I missed out on that? Dang!!!
