Saying it will pay for itself is not logical at all. If you buy 400 - 25,000 Iraqi Dinar Notes whoever you bought it from would make $8547 at 1170 per $1USD. The figure of $8547USD is not profit, they must subtract what they paid for the bills before figuring out profit. Also $8547USD paid if returned at .01 cents would = 100,000USD So if the possible return is this great it would be not logical to think that it could pay for itself since nothing purchased low and sold high has any comparable equality between the buyer/owner. However Iraq is in a different seat, they can pay for bits and pieces of the total amount needed to recover the currency - They could use oil as equity, natural gases, their contracted trade agreements, Stockpiled gold, and many others to offset the price of a currency RV.

I could really tear your post apart into every section being inaccurate. However i'm going to just ignore most of it and just touch on what I think the important parts are in your post. 1. If it was to RV at that rate those policeman and everyone else wouldn't care about one another because they would have their own dinar. Iraq does not care who owns the dinars they will use their gas and natural resorces as "equity" and they have in fact started that long ago. Your correct, This entire topic is filled with the wrong ideas of hope and only looking at the unchange. The exact same type of Investment speculation war that existed when the kuwait dinar revalued. Learn from history and understand that an investment is always called an investment for a reason, I for one hope that people continue to buy dinars, even if some decide not too, reguardless of what happens with our investment - I think our best shot and getting payed by my investment is to have iraq being invested in too in greater and greater amounts, the more stable the country the more powerful their hands of change are.

I respect Keeps point of view, However I do not think they would or possibly even could do that. Its not Iraq's soul decision, They have many consiquences for their actions and they will be held accountable. Many countries, have invested alot of time and effort and currency to iraq to get them to this point. now I want to put this in terms EVERYONE can understand perhaps sorta a fun way to look at it. If by chance Iraq would RD they basically just slapped all of us and other countires/investors in the face. That would mean that they took all this support and help from everyone to help rebuild the countries infostructure, Then after recieving this assistance they ONLY help themselves out? The plan was to recieve this help from all these sources with the intension of an RV using oil as equity in order to properly payback everything or atleast most of what they owe. With that comes great things for their people and matter a fact ALL people of ALL nations, This RV would literly help rebuild the economics of ALL even to the people that did not invest. Think about how much it would do for the USA, Think from a citizen of the USA's point of view, People that recieved all this money would immediately start helping our own economy by the wonderful TAXES, but even if the cashing in was FREE then that would mean we would just have more money to start spending on material items "cars, boats, homes, etc..." Most would give some to family/friends that needed it therefore helping them help the economy giving us a richer society as a whole. I think you may have read to far into my post DinarBam, I never was targeting you nor adam. I believe that adam will inform you in a timely fashion.
