So, not one response to reflect another country that has had an RI/RV that compares to what we are speculating can happen here?? Come on, there has to be some history to this affect. It only makes sense... And I don't expect stories of win fall, but at least some history of significant (or at least slightly substantial) increase in currency value. This can't be the only one in currency history or we may all really be as crazy as the Nay Sayers think we are... I'm not quite ready to bail here, or "sell out" as the poster above referenced, but some confidence and factual data above all the "soon" talk (that got old six years ago) would be really good. I can't be the only one that would be interested in such history.

Please forgive me if this is something that has been asked before, or if this should be easy to find, but I have searched and researched and am unable to find some history on RV's, such as the one we are all hoping for (which I've been invested in since 2010), whereas investors owned a currency which revalued and they made out well on. When I first invested, I did a ton of research and vaguely recall some factual dates and rates on currency revaluations that investors made good on. Yet, now I am wondering if that reading was just much of the content that is so readily available on any guru site. So, now I'm asking for some verifiable data as frankly, I'm getting discouraged and need a bit of a boost here. Help a girl out?

Just checked in after a long while to see the latest news as all that I've seen in recent months felt optimistic...now this. Heavy Sigh... I do feel we are in for yet another lengthy delay.

While I don't agree will all that he wrote, I do agree with this one statement... "In any case, I see the long road coming to a close within the next few days. If it does not, then I suspect our investment will disappear before our eyes, literally." Time tells...

What a GREAT POST!! You were only a few weeks behind me in investing and also in coming too! I can very much relate to needing to step back and live your life. I so can't wait for this "process" to a point that I cash in, but I can't keep hoping that it will happen in the time frames that I read about every week. There really is so much that is a part of this that I have come to the conclusion (same as you) that there is more to this than we can really know from our very limited view. So, I check in, read what you post first, as you are very smart, and then move on. Life is full and managing what I have on my plate is already so much, that the managing of all the news and rumors can take it to TOO much, mentally and emotionally. I am really grateful for my investment, as the education I have gained, both about the world economies, politics, cultures and media, but also more about you as a person, that I know I'll keep following all of this for many years to come, but with greater balance than when I first got obsessed. You're so cool... I'm grateful to call you my brother.

The VAST majority loved your post, including me. I too agree that this is the highest number of +'s I've seen... So thank you. I am genuinely sorry that this affected your personal site... I'd ask the mods to remove that particular information from the thread for you. I know that some damage is already done, but from here, it's best to remove it... Just my 2cents. A few weeks ago, I actually called several banks about this... The vast majority gave me the canned answer about not dealing in the IQD, but in each case I asked about the foreign currency department.... The Wells Fargo Foreign Currency specialist that I finally was able to speak to, was a teller with many years experience in trading/exchanging foreign currency for WF. He said that he was aware of it, and that if it became internationally traded, that WF would absolutely accept it. Additionally, this particular branch has a currency authentication machine. I asked him about getting the plates for the IQD once there was an RV and he said it would take a few days... So... if they have the currency authentication machine with the right plates, I wait not at all... I go in, I get it authenticated and I see it change my financial life very quickly. Additionally, IF the banks are getting some heads up on this as many have said, they already have the plates for the authentication machine. The De La Rue is not the only machine that can authenticate the IQD...

Pretty interesting... I was just reading another tidbit of news, from another sight and the post, which came from yet another site said they had a screen shot of the forex at $1.17... I've yet to see the screen shot, but to see the same number in both posts... I like it.

Such a great question... and the answer is some. And frankly, I'm not really sure I care if they read it...I just felt it needed to be said. It may have just been my own selfish need to get it off my chest. (You can still post the link next week if you like though ) The number of new people is getting so high and yet so few of them are willing to do their own due dilligence. Additionally, the momentum is pretty high right now that the RV could come this month, so I think people want something to rely on. However, this is an investment, and with any investment, there is usually more gamble than reliability...

I do agree. I'm not suggesting that everything you read is false...just to take it for what it's worth....some fact, some fiction, some conversations shared online... Just don't take it all so seriously, on this site in particular, that you get disappointed or angry when what someone posts doesn't pan out or have some factual data to back it up.
