  1. I feel concealed carry is less threatening . I do not want to cause harm , just prevent it from coming my way!
  2. It never ceases to amaze me how many people delight so much in trashing other peoples posts.( Steve Irwin) , left this sight for that reason and he sponsored peoples talk radio hosts until he found out there true motives and then they separated and he is solely paying for don't promote other sites and ask for nothning in return . Need I remind people that the free side of DV does not receive the same benefits as the pay side and PTR is only in it for the money . Point is why are people taking pot shots at everyone and keep in mind Steve does not post his information here , someone else does and to the great delight and satisfaction of many DV members. I can remember when almost all of the gurus were on DV , then slowly but surely they are driven off. I just feel bad that there is so much hatred or animosity . We are all in this together and it seems painfully obvious to me that some people should reconsider there priorities. Just Say N Boon
  3. Hi Goodlife , I would like to talk to you outside thiis forum on or about Warka accounts. If you would email me at dch23@yahoo.com , if you are inclined , Thanks boon
  4. In short one of the most obvious things that dinarians overlook is the fact that the CBI with government approval , printed new money in small denominations , this costs money to do , and the small denoms are worthless without revaluing . I keep telling people in our group to stop sweating it , that the one to one is spelled out in the plan and is a in country thing and is effectively a lop short term in IraQ , this has no bering on the international value. The in country is so, illiterate people who are not capable of sophisticated decision making can understand that there money is now as good or better than the dollar. The difference will be made up as there standard of living goes up and the cost of goods go down. Now on international front the dinar will be a currency leader and will buy more than ever , and since the price of oil has been contracted , they do not need to play dollar wars , like the US and China. In the mean time look for the US dollar to keep losing strength. At some point we will be safer holding dinars than dollars ! Crazy Huh!
  5. All internationally traded currencies have two values , one is in country and two is out of country . The money we use on a daily basis goes up and it goes down , this is in part why gasoline prices vary daily , when the dollar goes up the price of gas goes down and when the dollar goes down the price of gas goes up. All the while we are using the same money day in and day out and as long as the budget stretches far enough we do not complain to much. Internationally when the dollar goes up we can buy more import stuff less expensively and when it goes down it takes more dollars to buy the same stuff , so this is also why the prices at Walmarts vary . Keep in mind the prices go up like a rocket and float down like a parachute. One common misnomer is the gurus who think the average Iraqi is going to get overnight rich , the fact is the individual who has no dinar and has no dollars is still broke and the only thing that will change for them is , welfare, and then opportunity . Eventually their standard of living may improve . The fact is all the gurus who talk about a revaluation speak under the assumption that a rv is always a increase , in truth the currency has revalued up and down for years and it is my opinion that they are going to come out in country at a one to one basis so the average Iraqi can fully understand that the new dinar is now worth as much or more as the US dollar. The reason they do not like the dinar is because the money traders take advantage of the exchange rate and the illiterate can only suffer in this environment. As far as the dinar internationally it is speculation on anyone's part as to the value. In Kuwait is was a reinstatement and the currency was deliberately devalued and it was deliberately revalued , realize there infrastructure was in place and all they had to do was resume doing business as usual. The increase in value in country will increase there standard of living as the prices of goods and services go down and their money will buy more. This still relies on the one point I made that you have to have money to start with. D
  6. I intend to go to Wells Fargo , I have a checking account there that is insured for unlimited amounts. Boon
  7. -----Original Message----- From: **** Jordan <dickj444@gmail.com> Sent: Thu, Jun 14, 2012 4:07 am Subject: Fwd: Trayvon at 17 In reality..."little Trayvon"...at the time of his death...stood almost 6'2" tall...weighed 175 muscular pounds...had numerous run-ins with authorities (both at school and local police)...had been stopped and almost arrested two days before his death for...smacking a bus driver in the face...because the driver refused to let him ride for free...he was released because the driver was told not to press charges by the bus company and to continue on his route. When "little Trayvon" was suspended at school...it was not only because he tried to bring a little marijuana in with him... he was in possession of wedding rings and other jewelry...watches etc. that he said he "found" along with a large screwdriver...while on the way to school that day...the jewelry was turned over to the Police by the school. I am not trying to say this was a good shooting... I am not trying to say this kid deserved to die... I am saying... the media in the USA is controlled by liberals who twist and distort what you see and hear in order for you to see things their way. Not a single paper has printed RECENT photos of this kid... Not a single paper will admit that this kid was a marijuana dealer...his friends on facebook all say he had the "best plants"... Not a single paper will show you any of his recent photos where he shows off a mouthful of gold teeth...all of his tattoos... Or a 17 year old drug dealing, gold-toothed individual whose name on one of his facebook profiles was "wild ******"...who 'finds" jewelry and burglary tools on the way to school?
  8. This is not up to Iraq alone , this is so much more complex , money has two values , one is in country where it is used daily as a medium of exchange, and the other is Internationally , The significance is when their currency is reinstated and internationally traded it will buy things. Now it is so worthless that it is useless internationally , most calculators cannot handle the numbers and so they buy and sell in US dollars. The currency we provided them compliments of Saddam and his deposits in US banks. The fact is very few of us myself included are knowledgeable enough to discuss this intelligently. I have began readomg and studying two years ago and the more I learn the more I realize I do not know. Once their currency revalues significantly there purchasing power will go up and the cost of living will go down , then the standard of living will improve and eventually the average Iraqi will benefit . Keep in mind those people who have no dinar and those who have no dollars this will not make any significant difference in there standard of living in the short term , only when welfare trickels down and the infrastructure improves. The idea that they will all be running around with pockets full of money is just fantasy , broke is broke and it is only the wealthy that will be able to hold cheap dinars and then either benefit from increased purchasing power or exchange them for some other currency to purchase things internationally. Just saying Boon
  9. Some time ago I was sent a email asking me to take a test to determine if I was a conservative or a liberal , I was not really sure so I took the test and determined immediately that I was a conservative and then I found out the liberals stand for everything I am opposed to. I have heard there incredible arguements and listen to them call conservatives all kind of names always negative. The fact is nature supports survival of the fittest and if it were not for the patriotic conservative , god fearing americans protecting this country , the liberals would be consumed by there own stupidity. When a bear is chasing you up a tree , since they are tree huggers, they can take a picture of it biting them in the ass and then all of us conservatives can watch it on U tube . Guns do not kill people , people with guns kill people, People bin killing each other since the beginning of time , if no guns , bows and arrows , no bows, swords, no swords, Knives, No knives , rocks , no rocks , drowning , no water , hang um , no rope , choke em, Whew , I hope the liberals get the picture , cause they are the problem , It just never ceases to amaze me the post office forbids firearms , and yet no recorded case that I ever heard of , did a customer go postal , Someone forgot to tell them that they attack each other and if the customers were armed maybe we could help them in a time of need. If you outlaw guns , only outlaws will heve them!
  10. You do realize that everyone who has called it has been wrong ! Everyone , and yet I do not see you running them down! I feel you are being vindictive for whatever reason . Hope you get to feeling better , God Bless
  11. Virtually everyone of us members here at DV are not qualified in any capacity to interpret or give any advice on the subject of currency as it pertains to the dinar. Myself included , this topic is so convoluted and deceptive that it is only possible to have a opinion , and we all know about opinions. I read these posts and while I have learned alot in the last three years , the more I learn the more I realize I do not know. I am a rational analytical minded person and I try not to get caught up in the emotion, so I am going to share my take on this just for fun IMHO. One of the things I learned is all currency has two values , in country and out of country, for example prices of gasoline go up and prices of gasoline go down, daily and this is market driven and is more complex but it is tied to the dollar and when the dollar goes up gas goes down and when the dollar goes down gas goes up . Note this also applies to Walmarts , dollar goes up prices come down and dollar goes down and prices go up , they actually shoot up like a rocket and they float down like a parachute. The point is we use the same money day in and day out and as long as we can stretch our budget far enough we do not complain. Our currency being the dollar enjoys a status as key currency and thanks to our government and some back room deals all petroleum for many years has been bought and sold in US dollars henceforth the phrase petrodollars. This is changing , many countries are defecting they are bartering and escaping the US dollar and there is a battle going on . As far as a investment in Iraq goes that is a little bit of a stretch , really when their currency revalues significantly , it already has revalued many times and one has to realize that a revaluation is not strictly a increase it is just a move , however assuming it increases significantly it means very little to the average Iraqi in the short term . Keep in mind if you have no dinar and you have no US dollars , O is O , this is the case when it comes to the poor, In country the price of goods and services will go down and the infrastructure and job opportunities will improve so ultimately there standard of living will improve. Just having the electricity on 24hrs a day will make a big difference, but not so much to the people who do not have electrical appliances in the first place. Point is us rich americans who can afford to purchase this exotic foreign currency and set back and speculate when or if it might increase in value will possibly benefit ! I feel there are several reasons to confidently beleive this currency will increase in value; 1. cbi said so , and shabibi is the only credible Iraqi that I have read and beleive. 2. it makes no sense to print new small denominations that are of such insignificant value to be no use and could not purchase anything , What would you do with a tenth of a penny in the US. 3. One has to read and do alot of research but a document referred to as the plan was released and spells out how the US Treasury , Bush Chaney and I think Greenspan put together the plan to devalue the dinar to punish Sadam so he could no longer fund his army and then furnish US dollars confiscated from Saddam to furnish a currency that was internationally traded so the country could survive and then to ultimately RV the currency ten years later and exchange the old dollars for discounted oil. $32.00 per barrel if I remember right. The fact is no one knows for sure when and how much , but to think that the third wealthiest country in the world will retain the second least valuable currency indefinitely is ludicrous.
  12. I do not here this guy complaining about the TSA ! Everyone is guilty until proven innocent. I suppose he would ignore people wearing towels on their head and would only interrogate 95 year old Grandmas in a wheel chair and inspect there catheters. Racial profiling is a fact of life, just a fact , like it or not!
  13. Keep , that was the most fair open minded reply I have read in some time. I am compelled to say that it was refreshing and I have a new found respect for all the work you do and I am sorry for being confrontational in the past. While I am not a lopster. I enjoyed reading your dialogue and applaud your explanation. Thanks again Boone
  14. I would like to see a current photo also , but in fact steet fighters come in all sizes and it is not the size of the dog in the fight it is the size of the fight in the dog. I am the first to admit that it is unfortunate that the kid lost his life , it is also the risk you assume when you confront someone unknown. I assume Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would be much happier if the young man was white . Would there be the same uproar if the kid shot and killed the neighborhood watchman. probably not ! While it is a unfortunate incident and it is so sad , we still do not know the facts! Sometimes bad things happen to good people, in this instance this applies one way or the other.
  15. I am compelled to say something on behalf of Zimmerman , Why is is so hard to beleive that a young man white or black , wareing clothes that make you look like a perpatrator , wondering around a neighborhood in the dark and looking suspicious , would attract the attention of a neighborhood watchman ? Then after being called and confronted the person white or black ,hispanic or chinese etc. , attacks the neighborhood watchman , maybe even in a perceived justifiend manner , or just being confrontational , not cooperative and then in the fight is beating on the neighborhood watchman , gets shot in self defense. Who thinks we do not need neighborhood watch people ? Maybe if WE knew the facts we could decide this plain and simple , I think we need to support the watchman until proven otherwise !
