  1. OMG, some people will just not believe the truth! I give up - believe what you want, you will anyway!
  2. I'm with you Capn, if this is the best the Republicans can put forward, they don't deserve to win! There are reasonable, smart main-stream Republicans, but they won't run for election because they aren't willing to lie about some of their positions (like Romney) so that they can appease the right wing Evangelicals to get the nomination.
  3. Snopes says: "Although Barack Obama may not have been particularly social or memorable during his years at Columbia, it isn't true that "no one ever came forward from Obama's past saying they knew him, attended school with him, was his friend, etc." Those who have attested to having daily personal experience with him during his time at that school include: Friend and roommate Sohale Siddiqi, whom the Associated Press located and interviewed in May 2008. Roommate Phil Boerner, who provided his recollections of sharing a New York City apartment with classmate Barack Obama to the Columbia College Today alumni publication and the New York Times in early 2009. Michael L. Baron, who taught the year-long honors seminar in American Foreign Policy that Barack Obama took during his senior year at Columbia and recalled in an NBC interview Obama's "easily acing" the class and receiving an A for his senior paper on the topic of nuclear negotiations with the Soviet Union. Likewise, other external evidence documents Barack Obama's presence at Columbia from 1981-83, including: An article by Barack Obama published in the 10 March 1983 edition of Columbia's Sundial school magazine. A January 2005 Columbia College Today profile of Barack Obama as a Columbia alumnus. A Columbia College press release from November 2008 identifying him as "the first College alumnus to be elected President of the United States." Finally, the fatal flaw in the "Obama didn't go to Columbia" theory is that he couldn't have been admitted to Harvard Law School in 1988 without having received an undergraduate degree. If he wasn't attending Columbia from 1981-83, he would have had to complete two full years' worth of coursework at (and graduate from) some other accredited college — yet his time between the end of his Columbia days in 1983 and his entering Harvard Law in 1988 is accounted for (working at the Business International Corporation and the New York Public Interest Research Group, then serving as director of the Developing Communities Project in Chicago), and no other school claims him as an alumnus, nor does anyone purport to have encountered him as a classmate or student at any other college or university during that period." I don't know why people post stuff that they don't research, unless they just don't care if it's the truth and want to slander someone (which is what it is legally considered) and want to start more "conspiracy theories", but all you have to do is go to several "truth" websites and verify the information. Whether or not you like his politics, just because you read something on the internet does not make it so!
  4. I would take that every day of the week!
  5. Yeah but kind of hard to kill/knife 20 people in the space of a minute!!! People need to understand that there are mentally ill people in the US who listen to all of the hate speech, political rhetoric, crosshairs on maps, etc. and that their words have power. Sometimes that power is to tip someone over the edge and commit a crazy act like killing completely innocent people, BTW including an absolutely adorable 9 year old child. You might feel differently if that was YOUR child shot to death for absolutely no reason whatsoever!
  6. Ask George Soros if he thinks currency investing is a scam. I would think not!!! Quit listening to the hype "tomorrow for sure" and you will stop being disappointed.
  7. I cannot wait until this whole thing is over - so many differing stories everyday is making my head spin.
  8. You people crack me up! You need to learn your own personal history!! Are you Native Americans? Because if not, unless your family came here in the past couple of decades, they all just arrived on ships from Europe and were let into the country. They didn't wait 10 - 15 years to file paperwork and get "legal approval" before they came here! This is such a case of "I got mine, screw you!" Nice Christian morals. What are the poor kids supposed to do? They didn't ask their parents to become illegal immigrants and to be born here. We need to either pass the dream act, or decide that none of the kids that are born here are legal and ship the WHOLE family back where they came from. You can't split up the parents from the children. We need to have a path for legalization for those that are already living here, working and paying taxes under false social security numbers, so they can contribute to the system, like they want to and be tax paying citizens, like they want to! Wow, some of you need to really examine yourselves and your sympathy for your fellow HUMANS! Go ahead, bash away!
  9. this site must not be working, all of my "pluses" gave "minuses" and vice versa
  10. Thanks for the post Doc. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
  11. Be VERY careful about his type of setup, as I know some people who went to prison for buying into this "tax evasion" type of scheme and they were very convincing when promoting their stuff. Fortunately, I did not fall for their scam, but I know some who did and are paying the price. I would get legal advice from tax attorneys that are not involved and don't benefit in any way from this before thinking you're going to avoid your taxes.
  12. No offense to you personally, but I hope you're too late!
