I beleive that Dinar is also the plural form of the currency...

WEll, this information certainly goes against what the CBI issued the other day about the EXPECTED value of currency after the RD would be 30 Trillion Dinar... very close to what it already is... Thread

I seem to recall that tthe CBI made some kind of statement about wanting to back their currency with precious metals more. Anyone else recall that?... I wonder if the new coins will be made of gold. WIth a decent RV they could certainly make some out of an equivalent value in gold. Just thinking aloud. Anyone else thinking like this?...

If this reads correctly, the expected cash in circulation after the change will still be 30 Trillion IQD, very close to the current value. So, it would seem to indicate that the new currency will be lower denoms at an equivalent value per dinar. Sounds like good news to me...

That math doesn't hold water. At $29 Trillion dollars, 6 Trillion notes would have an average value of only $4.83 Dinar. Impossible, unless it is a typo (6 Billion notes makes the average $4,830 Dinar; way more plausible); or there are a large quantity of bills well below the $4 mark to get the average below the $50 level of the lowest form of available currency to date... No, I do not think they are hiding any at this time. But, who knows?... So, I like what they are saying about the larger bills to ease transactions; that would NOT lend itself to an immediate L0P or RD. Which leaves us with RV; a more likely progression to improve purchasing power... But, of course, we are talking about Saleh... IDK, just rambling I guess... What does everyone else think?...
