  1. There is a new webpage that lists the new rates for 01 NOV 2010..... https://treasury.un.org/operationalrates/OperationalRates.aspx Unfortunately, nothing has changed on here for Iraq......
  2. You're very welcome, Cherysh. I know that not everyone has the opportunity or the ability to serve their country in the military, but I think its our patriotic duty to serve in one way or another. I commend all that have taken the time out of their normal routines and do something for the prosperity of their country, even if it is as simple as recognizing those that make the effort. The more I read the initial post from Tommy55, the more frustrated I get at the attitude. I feel like I have earned the right to hold the investment I have. It reminds me of the Little Red Hen story my kids have in their storybooks. Nobody wants to help make the effort, but everyone wants a piece of the bread when all the work is done.
  3. It's nice to have that point of view. But some of us, like myself, (who has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan on several occasions), have vested interest in the future of the country. I have had to endure the loss of friends and comrades through this whole ordeal, and would personally like to see the Iraqi people have a stable government. It would be a shame if we, (as in the U.S.) would have to come to their 'rescue' again and put our own lives on the line. Let's not forget all the people that have sacrificed for our prosperity to happen!
  4. IMO, i've always assumed the action of the CBI withholding cash is temporary, and is a prelude to a larger event (ie the RV). I've also assumed the currency dealers have a certain amount of reserve built up in anticipation of this. But in the end time will tell. Supply vs. demand will eventually increase the value somewhat, but I don't think this would be anywhere near what we're expecting. Once again, IMHO......
  5. I have some questions? One of my friends purchased the dinar I have from a dinar trading company. Wouldn't the tax he paid on the initial purchase cover any taxes? (Why pay taxes twice on the same currency once it RVs?) I then paid him money for my share of the dinar. What tax does this fall under, and since it's been more than a year since I've done that, how can I prove that and what % would I pay (if any)? Would a reciept from him hold up as proof to the IRS? Another scenario....I have since given away dinar as gifts to family members. Will I need to pay tax on that, or will the family members have to pay tax? Thanks for any responses!
  6. I've been watching this site for a couple months now ever since someone mentioned that this is where we would expect to see early movement. (I think it was Adam who mentioned that, can't be sure). They've held around 1170 since I've been watching it, just like every other site. The past 24 hours is the first I've seen it fluctuate here at all.... GO RV!!!
  7. Sounds like providence to me.... -morpheus (providence (n)- the foreseeing care and guidance of god or nature over the creatures of the earth.)
  8. Strange how the Iraqi court is just figuring this out now. If this was truely 'illegal' this should have been done months ago. This to me is just another smoke screen trying to cover up the fact that their timeline has all been planned on for a long time now. Still, I'm excited! Everything is falling into place! Go RV!!!
  9. Yes, but no matter how you look at it, the spiritual must interface with us here in the natural, by God's design. Prophecies are bound to come true whether one believes it will happen or not. Setting aside the possiblity of us all getting rich off the RV, I personally find it mind boggling that we may find ourselves witness to the start of the 'end times'....
  10. I was reading the post that someone dug up the other day on how Revelations talks about how Babylon will be wealthy and then be destroyed with no trace. I started thinking how this might go down and came up with this possibility. It's pretty much agreed that Iraq is the area where the bible focuses on. What if after several years of prosperity, all of these huge oil fields are drained to the point of leaving vast caverns underground. What would be the likelihood of the entire country caving in, like huge sink holes in the ground, totally devouring the cities and regions on the surface. I suppose anything is possible. If anyone has knowledge on how the oil fields are layed out and would like to comment, please feel welcome. Also, if anyone wants to suggest another way the end of Babylon may come about, the topic is now open!
  11. He left out the glimmer from his smile! Sounds like a line from the night before christmas.....!
  12. Wouldn't that be a bad thing for no one to show up for work? Are they going to draw straws to see who is going to work from day to day? I guess Kuwait and all the other rich countries have figured it out. All I need is for the RV to last long enough for me to go down and cash in....!
  13. Hey everyone, If you haven't checked the Dinar Speculation site recently, Adam Montana posted there... He doesn't think its going to go down this weekend either..... From: Adam Montana: "My friends, as always – I’m here to give it to you straight and not to “pump” up dinar sales. While the current events are positive for us – it’s not going to RV this weekend, so don’t spend any more on Dinar than you can afford to stick in your underwear drawer and continue waiting." http://dinarspeculation.com/
  14. Call me a newb, but I've been following the news for months now, and invested back in '09 when I was deployed in AFG. My question is this. After reading news articles posted after Talibani attended the U.N. Summit the end of September, I was under the impression that Iraq 'wanted' to continue with their Chapter VII in order to gain continued support (security, financial, etc) from contributing countries. Regardless, isn't it up to the U.N. Security Councel to lift the sanctions? And if so, this won't be reviewed again until July 2011.... Just my two cents. I personally believe the RV will happen before Ch. VII is lifted.... Thanks Viper51 for your dedicated efforts to keep us informed!
