  1. The funny or not so funny part about all of these predictions, intel, news; whatever, is that those who say it is not going to happen will actually be 100% correct (all but one set apart time). It is really not taking a chance to say it is not going to happen. That is why I really appreciate those review the information, check it against the intel, then stick their necks out to make a knowledgeable prediction. Then there are those who say it is going to happen almost every month, week, day; this does not take any effort or discernment. Someone is going to get it right one of these days, but it won't come with respectability, unless it was really backed up by some real research, intel, and intellect..
  2. Hi All, I did trade Forex a while back and do have an IT background. The banks have an internal trading platform that is most of the time referred to as Interbank Forex. Those that have access to this system can see all of the activity that we would not normally see when looking at Forex paired rates off of a common Forex site. This is very important to banks because they can then see what other big banks and countries are doing in terms of laying down long and short positions in order to manipulate the currencies pricing. When you go to standard Forex sites, the pairings and prices are handed down to you via an API (Application Control Interface). In other words, there is an application that is between you and the actual Interbank Forex system. This allows the Forex provider the ability to manipulate what you actually see when trading. They can delay showing you the actual pricing in order to nab a few more PIPS in their favor (very dishonest). This is why I do not trade anymore. The currency can actually be going up and they can show by delay that it is not changing or going down. This can stimulate you to get out of the trade and lose money. That all aside, the main point is that there is an internal system that is only available to banks and other financial institutions. This Interbank Forex system is where all of this supposed activity regarding the Dinar is taking place. If this is not totally correct, feel free to interject. This is my understanding of it to this point. Mark Sorry! API (Application Programming Interface) Mark
  3. I am thankful that we have an actual date for this to "Begin to End". I am hopeful that it will end on a positive note as we have been expecting. If not though, it was a crazy ride and I will be glad when it is over. I hope that our patience will be rewarded. I don't see how they can keep the value the same in the long run. The currency has to eventually be traded worldwide for Iraq's economy to grow and to help it's citizens. Reducing paper with excess zeros is not going to help them a bit. Go RV!
  4. Found this on the The Basel iii Accord From the Basel iii Compliance Professionals Association (BiiiCPA) Interesting, but not sure if this fits exactly, but it does seem to make mention that compliance will have been met by Sept. 15, 2010 Go "IITB" !! http://www.basel-iii-accord.com/ Breaking News We will have the finalized Basel iii package before the 15th of September, 2010. We believe that banks will have to hold Tier 1 capital of 9 percent (in Basel 2 we have 4%), including a 3 "conservation buffer". At least 5 percent of Tier 1 will be pure equity or retained earnings. If Tier 1 capital is less than 9%, banks will not be allowed to pay out dividends to shareholders. In good times, banks have to allocate another 3%, the "anti-cyclical buffer". It simply means that in good times banks need Tier 1 capital of 12% in order to be able to pay dividends. If we add 4% Tier 2 capital, we reach an interesting number: 16% (6 percent Tier 1, plus 4 percent Tier 2, plus 3 percent conservation buffer, plus 3percent anti-cyclical buffer). Hedge funds are already shorting certain banks. Investors try to understand how much capital banks may need to raise in order to be able to pay dividends. Next step: The G20 summit of leaders in November, where they will give their seal of approval.
  5. Thanks for posting your dream. Pretty interesting and it was very detailed. So detailed that I plugged in(arnold schwarzenegger .86912) into Google and it came back with a very interesting search. Please look at how many times 86912 shows up in the results with his name, very interesting. I'll leave it at that. Thanks!
  6. Thanks Possum! This is very good news!
  7. It seems that most who post about a lop are really doubters that want someone to convince them otherwise. I am tired of it as well. Spreading doubt about this investment will not make one a believer, only cause further doubt and harm to others. It is already decided what will happen, and we will find out shortly. It would be best for someone with overwhelming doubt, or concern about the amount invested that can't be lost, to go ahead and sell if it makes them feel better. I am in it for the ride, win-lose-or draw. I understood this investment was this kind.
  8. Possum, you make this fun and entertaining. It gets too serious most of the time. Thanks!
  9. yes, almost every day has been the day for it. Perhaps tomorrow.........................................
  10. I am hoping for this week, but am focusing on the future hope which is more certain.
  11. the smell is good news soon.
  12. Pretty unpredictable, but things appear to be moving forward. That is a good thing.
