I can't understand why anyone would want to be controlled by their government any more than absolutely necessary... where is the freedom in that lifestyle ... i hope anyone that voted this mess into law gets booted out and the laws reversed to give individuals more control and freedom of their lives & choices ... jeeesh whats wrong with everyone's thinking today anyways, don't people use their minds anymore ...

+I'm hoping the US forces stick around long enough in Iraq to keep things secure to the RV ......... So what happens to countries like the USA , UK, China and whoever else is holding large amounts of the same Dinar we hold and Iraq just reprints new currency ? ( which I don't think will Happen ) . , Are they big enough to get theirs covered somehow ? speaking for myself I probably waste more money in a year on foolish crap I really don't even need compared to what I've spent on IQD ... A lot of financial advisers are mainly concerned about the commission they receive , not that you are really making money ... not slamming your sons it's just business for em' . I can lose 30K + in a year in managed investments and barley get a 3x5 new year's calender ... just saying ... this is high risk for sure but besides forex where else can you leverage roughly a 1k dollars to 1 mil. something will have to happen I can't see how Iraq could ever move on in a world stage if their currency is valued at a 16th of a penny... how it will all play out is the gamble, if it was a sure bet every person with half a brain would hold huge amounts of IQD and be living like jed clampett ...

I'm pretty new here ,was told about the dinar 6 to 8 months ago been researching ever since and hold a small (dinar) amount compared to most here probably . I was under the impression if it's exchanged for USD here in the states the IQD is sent on to the fed. res. and traded for oil and or contracts ... Iraq will not have to have the cash, it's in the ground I realize that was oversimplified but that was one theory how they would pay for the RV not so much with shelling it all out upfront ?

I think why many go outside the USA to help others is even the poorest Americans have or can have a life that many in this world only dream of ... As bad as we think it is in the states imo it's still the best country in the world to be born into .

I hear your concerns , I think we will never have the answer to what you / we need to be at ease completely with this venture . If we did De La Rue would have to print more IQD to keep up with the demand , to me this is a risk for sure but I think you can sell your dinar to dealers even still . This will never feel like a for sure thing in my mind ,way to much speculation & uncertainties for that IMO, I don't have that many dinars on the hook and I've lost way more in my 401 & other market investments last year than this will ever be to me that being said I'm rid'n it out and planning for the future .... please post up the answer if you get it ......... take care

I personally don't find this anymore stressful than a managed forex account tanking or watching your 401 K go to nothing or other stock investments dropping like a rock when the markets are in the gutter .. ride the waves ... some investors get in to deep and don't get the desired outcome they want , a forum might be a good place for some to "get it out " to help with the decisions they might have miscalculated . just saying ......
