I think you are right Frank61 but it still is Iraq and I hold a nice amount of dinars just in case they lop so I still could make some decent money with a lop at a 3 + dollar rate. And I have them both in cash and Warka.

This lop talk really gets people up in arms. Frank61 and I had this discussion just yesterday.. Keepmwl is just saying a lop is going to effect all dinars even if they are in a Warka account. This is how it works.. they will bring out a whole new bill (I.E. Smaller Denoms) they will make you pay for example 1,000 old dinar for 1 new dinar they will not just take the 25,000 note and say it is worth 25 dinar they cant do that because then the guy with a 25 dinar note has the same money the guy with a 25,000 dinar note has. Then they will take your Warka Account and do the same conversion ( for example if your account has 250,000 in it it will convert to 250 new dinars) this is how a lop works and so far it is looking like we will avoid this but this is Iraq anything can happen Big Daddy Dave

I get tired off seing every one on here think that there is now way that the can lop or redenominate Iraqi's currency. Froto gave Example after Example how it could happen and the one big one that was not metioned was Venezeula. This is the one that was closet in every way to Iraq. They Started with a dictator then removed him with help from the US but not in the scale of Iraqs situation there Bolivar was selling and there was speculation about it going up (Just Like Iraq) but on a smaller scale. This is also an Oil rich Country Just like Iraq that had huge potential for growth economically. So they printed new lower demons to replace the huge denoms they where using as they did a RV. Pre Rv they where selling 2150 Bolivar to 1 USD after RV it went to 1 Bolivar to 2.15 USD. They lopped in the way FROTO is trying to explain that no one wants to listen to. They brought out new lower denoms and it took 1000 old Bolivars to buy 1 New Bolivar. Has any one read Meds chats lately all he is talking about is not more currency but NEW CURRENCY so it has got me worried and Im a holder of alot of dinar. There Currency was avalible to be purchased and speculators did do the same as they are doing with Iraq but not on as big of a scale. I am a dinar holder and I want this as bad as any one else but I did just get tired of us only seeing the positive and not the negative so we could be aware of the other possibilities. The reason I even started looking into this was because the state of Utah posted it as one of the biggest scams of 2010 and so I just looked back in World History and Venezuela was the closet to Iraq in weath and oil. Many other contries have also followed this same plan, like Turkey, Azebijan, and a few others. I am on your side and hope this is not how it plays out but I am worried. Big Daddy Dave

I have done a lot of research the last few days on RV's, and the only countries that have RV without some kind of reduction where Germany after WW II and Kuwait which still had the same amout of currency and was basically just reinstated. The problem in Iraq is the huge amout of Currency out there. Take for instance Venezuela there Bolivar was at one point 1 usd = 2,150 Bolivar, Now it is worth 1 Bolivar = 2.15 usd, They had large bills just like Iraq has now, when they revalued they only gave you 1 new Bolivar per 1000 old Bolivars cant you see this falling in line with that. This is the way they do a lop with out it making the guy with a 25 dinar note have the same amount as the guy with a 25,000 dinar note. With the non exsitance of the lower dinar denominations this is playing out just like Venezuela. I hope this is not true and I dont have any amazing contacts but if this is what happens remeber I was the one who told you about it and was right. I saw this artical back in 2004 when I first bought my dinar. The Page was proable just Updated on 4/6/2010 but it was meaning the old dinar was getting sold and It had no value since it was being removed from circulation so dont stress about it to much I still bought even after reading this artical.

Have you seen Green Zone Where the Intelgent opperations of are gov. where corupt and the sided with the same group saddam was from. Well this is it all over maybe what are gov. want is not what the people of Iraq want and maybe A. knows it and thats why he is fighting to keep the rights he won fair and square

Teresa Is right it actually hit a high of almost 9.00 before it did a rapid desend back to around the 4.00 dollar mark the reason it rose to there was a rapid invesetment then fell because of a rapid cash in I hope it all happens the same way with Iraq. I know this because one of my close freinds that got me involved in the dinar is a muti millionare because of Kuwait. He cashed in around 6.00 Dollars thought it could not get much higher boy was he a little upset.

They need to make change for all these big bills once a RV happens you cant walk into a store and buy a gallon of milk, then excpect them to have change for your 25000 dollar bill. If it RV's some where around 3 dollars that would be like you carrying around 75 Grand in the US In your pocket

Reading this again it is saying that they are asking Iraq to build a compesation account at the federal reserve in NY and put 5% of their total revenues in it to continue to pay off creditors and debts from the former regime. If they do this they may look at releasing them from chapter 7 which is what is going to be asked of them tomarrow at the un metting. The Dec. 2011 date is not anything to do with an RV it is just saying that if they get into finacial trouble the will still be protected from creditors with out being under Chapter 7. If I am reading this wrong please let me know.

Its Really just saying that if all goes well in the meeting they can come out of chapter 7 anytime from now till Dec. 2010 not 2011 lets all hope it is sooner than later and if you pick through the Paper close they are pushing for an earlyer than later RV.
