  1. I’m wondering here, is the USA trying to throw out a Hail Mary in this game of Global Economics? Perhaps if the United States can restructure the oil revenues in Iraq away from international corporations and into the well being of national citizens they can justify action against Russia in Ukraine while “helping” the Russian people. I strongly believe that all intelligent people in power understand that it is only a matter of time until the USA like The Netherlands and England before them are simply a country that once held the global reserve currency. And with this shift can we, the USA crawl out of the rubble of the global economic collapse as a helpful global player. Therefore, it would be in the interest of the USA to have one single conflict that produced good democratic results since the end of WWII. That means the US has desire to help Iraqi people to save face globally. It will take a war to reset the global reserve currency based on past history. I believe that the war in Ukraine will be sufficient to do the trick. Now comes the hard part, has humanity grown enough to realize that any currency tied to a nation will ultimately fail. For the first time in recorded history humans have engineered money, a digital ledger which can operate independently from governments, thank you Shatosi Nakamoto for Bitcoin. If the US can see this they may play themselves into a role where the strength of the USD is backed by this digital ledger, thus escaping at the 11th hr from the fiat Democratic economic collapse which History has shown us will repeat again. So…can the USA gracefully bow out of the world reserve currency, peg their dollar on Bitcoin and maintain global stature in the midst of a global economic collapse on the verge of a world war?! Perhaps, perhaps not; with greed being justified as human nature rather than justifying desire where greed is a chosen tactic I think not. Perhaps, humanity has evolved to become a New World Collaborative Globe. After all we all understand that structure and control is better than chaos, it’s just a matter of how to balance the controlled structure with individual sovereignty. Thanks for the space to vent my mind, I feel more relaxed now.
  2. It’s positive news overall. Just makes me wonder about the extent of what these guys will go through to ensure that Iran Oil Revenues will not benefit Iranians after 1952 when CIA agent Roosevelt went in to overthrow the government for the people and install a friendly government to the international corporations. If we forget how we got here we at doomed to repeat the past. I have a lot of admiration for the will of both Iranian and Iraqis, they have resisted a lot over the years even to the point of war fighting for themselves and their natural resources.
  3. Yep, drop the Dollar. It’s time to restructure. The Ruble has appreciated in value since the US sanctions on Russia after the invasion of Ukraine. This is so frustrating, and still no real will to help the average Iraq people. Peasants are peasants, only pawns in this game of global economic control; Iraq is in the lions den now, negotiating with the most corrupt of all. Time will tell, as it always does. Kinda scary living in this glass house.
  4. Can someone lay out the timeline and progression for me? I’m thinking it goes like this; 1. Legislate the HCL, creating a formal draft. 2. First reading of HCL 3. Second reading of HCL 4. Vote of approval or denial of HCL 5. Publication in Gazette, finalizing HCL Now, I’m not in tune with Iraq legal preceding and time frame. But if this goes smoothly, my thought is March 2023 would be the early optimistic target. This is good news and moving in the direction of long term stability.
  5. This is the third year in a row I remember bank shutdowns around the first of the year. Seems pretty normal to me.
  6. This is positive news! Sure seems to be a lot of good momentum building lately.
  7. Step 1. Both sides open same book. Step 2. Both sides state what they want. Step 3. Use book from step 1 to solve any disagreements. Step 4. Write down agreement. Step 5. Both parties sign written agreement. Well, now with this easy five step solution it should happen soon. 😂🤣
  8. Oh boy, how far back can you go? It time to deal with the reality at hand. I personally believe that the Turkmen should have their own country as decided after WWI, but that’s not gonna happen. The Kurds even had a referendum in 2017, that’s not gonna happen. Time to just deal with the landscape as it is now. I hope this implementation of Article 140 continues as it is the path toward regional stability moving into the future. And, I’m hopeful it doesn’t start another war.
  9. Damn, this is simply complicated. I don’t want to see Iran’s internal struggles spill over into Iraq. Specifically, it would be into the Kurdish region. When that happens, if that happens all of the lines drawn in the last 100 years by westerners on the global scale go out the window. The true desires and alliances won’t follow any internationally recognized lines, rather ethnic lines which have been understood in the local regions for hundreds of years. There will be no shared cohesive reality, perhaps that’s the definition of war; leaving those who win to impose their perspective as dominant reality. As always, the electricity is in the ether. For thousands of years human nature has been presented and recorded here. Interesting to watch for sure, although I can acknowledge the depth of rich complexities I cannot understand the many facets. It’s Simply Complicated.
  10. Sounds just like you defined where I’m living in The United States of America. It’s uncanny, ironic and makes me laugh out of . . . well, the parallels to the local government are ridiculous. Unfortunate. Yes, EDUCATION is the key. Knowledge is power and wisdom is freedom. Greed and corruption is the problem, human nature. When human beings can justify desire as human nature and greed as a choice, then perhaps we can evolve. But, I’m not betting on seeing that kind of shift in my lifetime.
  11. Let’s see if with a seated GOI they can address Article 140 and the HCL…position of Iraq is improving on the global level.
  12. This isn’t good for stability. Perhaps, it’s a signal something is solidifying that represents change. And let’s remember, it’s still true, “change is bad and different is wrong”; a simple statement and fact about human nature. Unfortunately, it’s a self destructive behavior that’s currently acceptable and justifiable human nature. So, in conclusion; could be a good sign on the macro level whilst a signal of instability on the micro level.
