Both bigger denominations and smaller denominations will be valid and accepted for a short time together.....when the smaller denoms are issued there wont be a need for the larger ones in the marketplace because no one will be able to make change for them, which will force people to exchange the bigger bills for the smaller.....you wont be able to get the smaller denoms until a change in the value takes place making them needed for purchases and other things.....

The following statement makes so sense whatsoever so to me this whole article was just printed to keep speculation down......they said they want to reduce the number in circulation to 25 billion dinar?? are you kidding me?? you do realize that Iraq has a population of 31 million or so?? that means that they want to take away money so that even just the people in the country will only have an average of less then 1000 dinar each......hahaha now please someone....im no math wizard or economical analyst but please tell me how that would make any sense......

By them deleting the zeros from the currency they will have to change the exchange rate as well.....at that point we will be exchanging dinar for US dollars....not dinar for dinar.....

I wouldnt read too much into those allegations.....no one is going to buy enough to be able to wipe out our debt....your talking TRILLIONS of dollars in debt......not very likely....

He has put forth timelines yes......he has not however shown FACTS to why it will happen by the 26th.....he has shared info which in his opinion points to the 26th as a date that the RV would need to be done by.....I just stand by the fact that they wont RV without a govt in place......thats where all the focus is right now.....and I dont have a timeline so to speak....there isent specific dates that this has to be done by, it will happen when things are in place and ready for it to happen.....there is just too much instability right now for it to happen and to be thrown into the mix while everything is such a mess over there.....first off the dinar needs to be internationally recognized and tradeable and if Iraq sticks to their guns about the ISX going international in October then that issue will need to be resolved...I look at dates as times for progression, not as dates where they have to or will or could RV....you will drive yourself nuts thinking in that perspective!!!

The RV isent a fix all.....doesnt matter what there currency was worth the past 7 years its the instability thats been the main issue.....thats why things have progressed slower then what it should have...i never said they are getting along just fine....i was just stating that they have been surviving all this time with the currency where it is now and its not like they couldnt continue.....rebuilding is a slow process and just throwing at RV at it wont fix it all...the single most important thing they can do is become more stable, the govt, the people, and the country as a whole.....there are countries that have a lower valued currency and they are doing just fine with outside investors and building up the economy.....they cant RV until they fix themselves first and they dont wanna be stuck relying solely on the oil either.....it will come for sure, but as long as there is instability economically speaking it will be delayed.....

Well thats why I dont put too much weight into the 26th prediction....because its all hearsay....of course Id love to be proved wrong and Im not saying that I think Sonny1 is full of crap either....the fact is that yes, the dinar will gain value when they can justify it economically speaking.....it would seem they want to be more stable then they are right now and not have to rely so much on just the oil, especially with the decline in prices and the fall in demand for oil......they have been surviving this long without it and its not like they couldnt continue with rebuilding without a RV....I think just them having a tradeable and recognized currency would do wonders for them.....and a RV doesnt necessarily make it tradeable and recognized....

there are a lot of things that Ali cant talk about for legal reasons, and there are things that he wont talk about because he doesnt want to be held responsible for things he might say and then if they turn out differently people will want to look for someone to blame and will be pointing fingers sayin "oh well Ali you told me this etc etc......he isent going to sit there and try to predict everything and whats going to happen.....just know that Iraq and Vietnam are two different countries so yes they will be RVing at different times and I see the IDQ RVing wayyyy before the VND......so the possibility of "double dipping" is very real....

ANY coins that you see or can find are NOT of legal tender like our dinar bills are....those coins were the ones from 2004 that were released and then retracted because they were unpopular and useless in the marketplace with the value of the dinar where it is.....they are pretty much just a collectors item and nothing more.....

Removing the zeros is their way of saying getting the bigger bills out of circulation......you cant make a 25,000 dinar note all of a sudden only worth 25 dinar....they have to honor the bills they print....and by removing the three zeros they will have to change the exchange rate along with it....so when they do this we will be exchanging our dinar for US dollars.....not dinar for dinar....does that help a little?

You know as well as I do that Iraq has other ways of paying anything and everything without absolutely RVing, they have done it the past 7 years and its no different now especially with all the help we are still giving them......they are also receiving installments of a 3.8 billion dollar loan from the US which they just got one of those installments and that alone was 400 million......

Exactly what I have heard and seen....and if they do end up with the same problems as alot of US banks had then they will go belly up and ALL your money will be lost and you will have no way of getting it back since there is no kind of insurance like we have the FDIC here.....thats the biggest risk you face and to me that is HUGE!!!
