  1. Blasphemy I tell ya! Blasphemy! My eyes must be averted from the silliness you just wrote... Aaaaghh!
  2. Roll Tide! +1 for SEC football!
  3. Bamagirl, I love me some T-town... ROLL TIDE!
  4. I don't advocate unnecessary collateral damage and I'm not jumping on the wipe them off the face of the earth bus here, but you cannot forget one important fact. Children of terrorists often grow up to be terrorists and women who love terrorists bear their children. These terrorists pushing sharia to the far reaches of the earth will not have the same consideration for innocence and mercy is far from their ways. They would look you in the eyes with a gaze of steel as they cut the head from your body while screaming Allah is great! Your children will not be exempted because of their innocence. They would be judged and executed as guilty by association. There was a reason when Joshua was directed to destroy Jericho that part of that mandate was to destroy everything... every man, woman and child... every beast of the field... take none of the spoils... Joshua disobeyed. Now we're having this conversation. There is no middle ground. You cannot believe part of the truth any more than you can tell only part of the truth. Truth is truth (unless part of it is a lie) or it is UN-truth. Please.
  5. So far, none has mentioned how easy it is to pass urine type drug screens... I hear from time to time that so and so takes such and such to beat the test and has done so numerous times. My opinion is that this is closely akin to playing Russian roulette, but I do hear of it from time to time. Another unmentioned aspect (well, it was briefly alluded to, but...) is Welfare is designed and intended to provide basic (I said BASIC) necessities for the down-trodden and needy members of our society. It was never intended to bolster one's self esteem by giving them credit card type payment methods and cell phones and... and why the heck to I see people with star cards and food stamps with shopping carts full of candy and junk? Why would anyone feel incentive to move out of the system that gives them whatever they want? What the #$&@!? is that all about?
  6. What I am saying is that I have a job. This job has placed so many physical demands on me that I feel disabled everytime I get out of bed in the morning and sometimes after periods of sitting. I keep this job because it has been a very good source of putting food on the table, but every day when I go to work my constitutional rights are forefeited. I take drug screenings on a randomly regular basis. There are urine tests, swab tests and hair follicle tests. I have taken a drug screen and in the same day been directed to go take another on my way to work the next day. HELL YES! If one wants my VERY hard earned tax dollars, I see no problem with them taking the same freaking tests I have to take for the priviledge of keeping a job.
  7. And "rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft"... We now have multiple generations that have been reared and nurtured (stated very loosely) by the electronic sitter in the stead of parents. It is no surprise that we see the deterioration of the family. It sickens me to see the garbage put out by Disney and MTV, but it is not simply limited to those corporations because pretty much anything popular with the public at large has to do with self adoration, idolatry, witchcraft, adultry and the list goes on and on and on. People do not love truth and the truth is that most people in developed countries have "adjusted" their personal behaviors and beliefs to accomodate most of the aforementioned list of character flaws with a drive through and guilt free conscience. In the last days people's consciences will be seared and they will call good bad and bad good. Fathers will be without a natural affection for their children. Sons will rebel against their father's authority and brothers will rise against brothers. Mothers are too concerned with being friends with their children and refuse to instill discipline in their sons and standards of decency and modesty in their daughters. It is accelerating at an astronomical rate. I remember thinking that Don Henley probably had no clue as to how prophetic his song "End Of The Innocence" actually was. It is proving true that innocence is all but lost in this generation...
  8. I doubt it, but consider this... For years now, livestock have had microchips injected under their skins, household pets can now get a chip so the owner can keep track of them and the new anti-terrorism laws such as the Patriot Act are pushing people toward positive identification methods. I did NOT say that the Patriot Act is the devil. I said it is pushing people toward positive identification methods. Look at modern passports. Look at laws like the Obama healthcare bill and the fact that the IRS will be granted authority to see and transact in your banking affairs in real time. Look at the things that are going on in the world and the way people are so DE-sensitized by the many conveniences we are able to take advantage of. Think about it. fifteen years ago very few people were conducting personal financial business via the internet and consider that many of todays American youth have only known a life of convenience and luxury... There will be minimal resistance because people's eyes are clouded from living online at www.me_me_me.com
  9. I still think we're looking at $.10... IF there are 27T IQD in the Iraqi coffers, a $.10 rate coupled with a managed float over time will bring the amount of circulated currency to a more reasonable level and thereby increase its value as opposed to hyperinflating the currency. Twenty-seven TRILLION Dinar cannot become twenty-seven trillion dollars overnight. Iraq's GDP would take years to catch up and my opinion is that it would destabilize and possibly collapse their economy. If only I had read all the way to the bottom... All I would have needed to type is: I concur.
  10. Ain't that the truth... I've been to Clovis and took a "shortcut" back to I40 where the power grid ends and begins again.
  11. Okay, let us look at this issue LOGICALLY and not EMOTIONALLY. 1. It is terrible for anyone that wants to work to be unable to work. 2. The U.S. government has hindered, and in some cases, prevented the creation of American jobs by the creation and implementation of bureaucratic agencies like the Department of Energy, the EPA and others. Should we have a department of energy? Should we protect the environment? I would say yes, absolutely. We should be responsible with energy and environment. Should the DOE, or EPA be able to bypass Congress and create regulations? Absolutely not. It is the burdensome OVER-regulation by such agencies that drives our jobs overseas. 3. The American system of free enterprise is not perfect, but IS the best and most productive system in the world and it's history. 4. The Banking and Finance sector of our economy, as we know it, was actually deemed UNconstitutional and illegal by the Thomas Jefferson administration because when you grant unlimited power to greedy men no good can come of it. We in this generation are witnessing a largely unfettered caniballistic consumption of our civilized society that is driven by greed while politicians rend their garments with one hand and collect favors in the other. Money is NOT the root of all evil. The LOVE of MONEY is the root of all evil and we see this played out everyday in conference rooms where a company's mythical "projected" earnings and losses are as intangible as a fiat currency. These too are the results of greed implemented through a corrupt political system. 5. It is jealousy and envy which drives people to be offended by a CEO making millions. It really is none of our business how much money one makes, but Obama and his cronies prey on the simple-minded emotions of people when they say "at some point, you've made enough money." I beg to differ with the President on that matter. It is none of his business how much money I make. It is bad enough that the IRS (another brain-child of greedy politicians) has so much power that they can ruin your life and the heck of it is that once they get on your ass they will grind you to pulp because as far as the IRS is concerned you are guilty of tax fraud and evasion until you prove your innocence. That runs counter to the way our system of government was concieved. An accused is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty and the burden of proof is on the accuser. Try that one in tax court... Now with the new Obamacare law the IRS can not only view your bank accounts in real time, but can also transfer funds from your account into theirs to satisfy requirements of the new healthcare debacle. Remember: when a "magician" performs and has your attention on one hand, pay close attention to the other hand because something is happening in that one. If you don't believe that... Well, whatever. The tooth fairy cometh. 6. Our currency is without real value because it is based on GDP (our ability to produce) and whatever the Fed says. As you may recall, the gold standard was removed, therefore the dollar is backed by Treasury Notes and the Federal Reserve Bank is neither "Federal" or a "Bank". They're just a group of greedy men intent on ruling the world once they hold all the deeds and titles, and most of them see us (you know, we, the serfs) as insects and they have no qualms with squeezing the life's blood out of us, but all the rhetoric coming from politicians is nothing more or less than political posturing to position themselves for a cut... You and your life are only collateral damage on the road to perdition. What else do you want to know? Very well said. I concur...
  12. I'm all for responsibility and accountability. Those were hallmark issues in my family and I passed those principals to my children and am now passing them to my grandchildren. It IS a problem in our society when bad behavior is rewarded, but it is NOT the government's place to grant welfare any more than it is the government's responsibility to "fix" anyone. The problem with illegitimate child birth will only be solved when we REMOVE the reward system and put it squarely back to the family and community. I'm for ending federal welfare all together. NOW, let's talk about PERSONAL responsibility and ACCOUNTABILITY.
  13. It amazes me that someone saw this comment as a negative... How does one reconcile with the idea of a group of people with the power to decide who gets sterilized? Heck, why stop there? Why don't you get right on down to the nut cutting and just kill them? While you're at it don't forget our elderly parents and grandparents. Now that they are non productive why don't you just put them out of your misery too? Where does the list stop? Hitler had some very definite ideas about these things as does the Rosicrucian Order. What about you? Do you make the cut? Says who? Leave the omnipotent agenda to the Omnipotent One.
  14. IF one subscribes to the Rosicrucian order then perhaps this is a good idea... For the rest of us, NOT! Okay, the four year thing isn't a bad idea, but if suggesting "get them fixed" was an attempt at humour it could be that you need to leave humour to the comedians. Hitler thought population control was a good idea. I disagree...
  15. No ma'am. I wasn't embarrassed and as for the double posting... I can't figure that out but my computer double posts almost every time. I have been under a bit of pressure lately and it came out poorly. My apologies to you as well. Thank you.
  16. In fact, why don't you go back and actually READ my post (#80). You know, the one you felt obliged to bring correction to. I think you may find it in keeping with the chastening you apparently thought I needed. Sheesh! A little quick on the trigger, huh?
  17. Actually, you are now the one out of line as I made no comments in the chat whatsoever. I believe you are referring to the other gentleman who WAS in fact out of line.
  18. Actually, footings come in different sizes and shapes. It often becomes necessary to evaluate WHERE one stands and realize that "pride goes before a fall". If you stand in the middle of a foundation there is less risk than standing at the edge. Honey attracts more butterflies than vinegar. You can be precisely who you are with dignity and courtesy, saying anything you wish to, but realize that the WAY things are said is what opens or closes doors. Sometimes it is more appropriate to merely recognize "BS". One is not always obligated to call it. I read the chat. You were out of order in that case and created a distraction. Be bold. Be strong. Don't be rude...
  19. You're welcome. People tend to cherry-pick things political and I'm frustrated with those who do not or can not get a grip on how destructive some of these social engineering projects really are, and it IS largely the Democratic politicians who are pushing it. It is their hallmark political, feel good issue. I remember when it seemed like a good idea to me to sashay on down and take advantage of everything the government would offer me. As a young man, I got myself into a situation where desparation led me down to my local welfare office, I filled out the papers, sat for an interview and was ultimately appalled by what they told me. My request was for temporary assistance and the interviewer told me my car was too valuable and needed to be sold before I could be qualified for any assistance. Right then, at that moment it occurred to me that the system was designed for those who are willing to be held down. Sell my car? That's ridiculous! How in the world do you expect me to sell my very dependable car, which is very much needed in the search for gainful employment? NO THANK YOU. I don't know what I WILL do, but I know definitively what I will NOT do. I got myself into the mess and thank God, HE showed me the way out. It wasn't easy, but it wasn't a snare set by the fowler designed to imprison me. God gave me a brain, but it's up to me to use it... Right back at you! Mo, I think sometimes you are excessively confrontational and tend not to hear your message at times, but this is a time for sure where I totally agree with you. I know you're a stand alone character and don't need approval, but felt the need to highlight our point of agreement here... Peace.
  20. Now, jg you mustn't generalise in such a tawdry and demeaning way. Not all black Americans fall into this category. I know many who are ashamed that they fell victim to the desire for a representative of color who would be sensitive to their unique perspective of life's issues. As a white American, my passion is for someone to take the teeth out of the race argument once and for all. I don't look at a black person and see anything more or less than another person with a difference. Not all whites are the same and neither are all blacks. Before you go thinking I am lecturing you, I should say that I am not. I got your point, but it probably passed straight over the heads of most readers. That does not make me more intelligent it simply identifies a regional understanding, but you did come across in such a way that it will provoke many hours of hotly debated "folly" (to quote a new acquaintance). You really didn't intend that did you?
  21. Oh, alright... curiosity always has been one of my weaknesses. I'll play "eevl" is obviously not an acronym (Oh my! Perhaps it is an acronym.) since you indicated the intent to spell it as such. Enlighten us ol' workin' boys with the benefit of your superior wordsmanship, and please tell us what it stands for besides another attempt to weaken and destroy the language my heritage made me so very proud of...
  22. It's rather clear that the "hoods" still remain in both parties and assertion of your opinion that the "civil rights laws" righted all the wrongs of the Democratic party is the true folly of this dialogue. Welfare is an emotional issue to many Americans and I certainly seem to have struck a nerve in you because it seems apparent you were offended at my opinion. It does not, however, change the reality that a significant number of Americans have become enslaved by the welfare system. Look at the sheer number of young women who are rewarded by the government system of welfare for great irresponsibility. In this modern age there is no reason for a woman to become pregnant but for two (2) reasons. 1. They want to bear children. 2. They defy all common-sense and logic by carelessly engaging in unprotected sexual intercourse and somehow expect everyone else to believe that it is a tragic social phenomenon that simply couldn't be avoided because her passion ran so hot that her heart could not see it's way to say no and thereby disappoint her wonderful lover and deprive him of the object of his affection at that particularly sensitive moment. To further insult everyone else's intelligence, the system is set up in such a way that if she decides to do the right thing and get married she loses her benefit, but if she decides to pursue more illicit affairs with other men and arrive at an equally stupid conclusion she will be rewarded by an increase of benefits to offset the expense of bearing multiple children. She gets to ease her conscience by the sympathetic assumption of others that her plight was a cruel twist of fate. Now, look at the number of young men: the reward for their part in all of this "folly" is the total abdication of any responsibility because obviously the woman tempted him with something that no "real" man can do without. Especially in light of the knoweledge that the woman is not likely to mess up her "benefits" by coming after him to hold him accountable for his measure of irresponsibility, that man will do absolutely nothing to separate himself from a system that allows him to stand on the street corner at 9:00 a.m. smoking reefer and drinking forties with his buddies rather than getting up at 4:00 a.m. like I do almost everyday of my taxpaying existence. What incentive does an uneducated, unskilled victim of America's injustices have to get up and put some paint on the home he worked for, or mow the lawn of same, when all he really needs to do is acquiesce to the truth of his own prison and admit he is incapable of rising out of the ashes of history. After all, his rich uncle Sam will see to it that the labor of the productive is redistributed to reward the inaction of the non-productive. You may be on to something when you say "evil seems to be in charge of the country nowadays." Robinhood was a very romantic story, but Robinhood economics is evil and those who would satisfy themselves with the notion that accepting his bounty is somehow a good thing are evil too. It is inherently wrong. If you were working in a field with the knowledge that your livelihood was directly proportionate to your labor, it is safe to assume you wouldn't be very happy to give a portion of your blood, sweat and tears to the lazy neighbor who is content to sit home and watch her "shows" because she knows the "boss" is going to make you give her part of your food anyway. Besides, it requires too much of her to rise out of the ashes because then personal responsibility and accountability are in play.... Pride? Heritage? I am proud. I am a caucasian American whose family entered this land of opportunity in 1670 (+ or -) and we have been a blue collar working class of people for all these generations. My heritage is that I am neither wealthy or poor in terms of finances. My heritage prompts me to drag my happy a$$ out of bed five to seven days a week and get to work so I can take care of my responsibilities. My heritage doesn't allow me to sit back and watch someone else do the work and reap a reward from it. My heritage teaches me that an idle mind is the devil's workshop and idle hands are his tools. My heritage teaches me to hold my children accountable to certain standards of decency and conduct. My heritage teaches me that no matter how hard life sometimes seems to be there are people in the world experiencing greater hardships. My heritage teaches me not to feel sorry for myself because my station in life is proportionate to the energy applied to rise above circumstances. I could go on, but I doubt it would make any difference in your life because you seem to believe that all political and social evil is on my side of the aisle (without even knowing which side of the aisle I am on). In this life one can only be a part of the problem, or part of its solution. It's pretty clear where you stand.
  23. And a most specific modern example is the "welfare" program implemented by the LBJ administration. We now have multiple generations of people who have been taught by largely democratic policy that an entitlement leads to loyalty, but the truth is that welfare programs have only enslaved people in another way. The other thing democrats excel at is race baiting. Race baiting is just another distraction from the truth. The truth they don't want discovered is the work going on behind the scenes to destroy exceptionalism. America will not survive if common-folk don't awaken from their slumber. WAKE UP AMERICA!
