A statement issued by the provincial government said Monday that disciplinary policies adopted by the Baghdad government against Erbil constitute violations under international and humanitarian law. And calls on the central government to promote and protect the human rights and fundamental freedoms of individuals and groups . The statement pointed to the reduction of the share of the province in the federal budget of Iraq 2018 without the involvement of the Kurdish government, as well as the closure of airspace and restrictions on travel , pointing out that more than 1.5 million refugees and displaced from Kirkuk, Tuzkurmato and other areas affected by the Kurdish people. The Kurdish government pointed out the vitality of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah airports to meet the needs of the displaced and the people of the region, pointing to its impotence in the transition of the staff of relief agencies sent by the United Nations, the European Union, the International Committee of the Red Cross, non-governmental organizations and other representatives of the international community. Hopefully Nechirvan Barzani has the capacity to cancel the results of the referendum unilaterally and this constitutes a basis for negotiating the Kurdish region and Baghdad differences. We'll see!
