No fanfare no nothing. They just turned on the switch while the rest of the world is watching the nuclear deals talk about stalls. This is exactly how it will happen in Iraq. They will turn on the switch and they will be connected and that will be that. So this can litterally happen at any time.

Miliki has been under investigation for funneling Trillions of IQD over an eight year period to Iran.

He has been reported stealing Billions for himself and is hidden in off shore accounts.

GOI has recovered some of his hidden troves but still has much more work to do.

We may never know how much IQD disappeared under his watch.

This is why the Iraq economy never made any progress under Maliki.

7-13-2015   Newshound/Intel Guru BGG  clearly THE NEWS of the day:  Maliki submitted his resignation after the holiday...and the first reshuffle of the government ousted by al-Abadi "Hoshyar Zebari".   ...IMHO - that is the main thing I am looking for...amazing how many other items are about to tumble into place.  If he goes things are in OVERDRIVE!!
