بغداد ملفات عراقية : بثت شبكة أي بي سي التلفزيونية الأميركية يوم الرابع والعشرين من الشهر الجاري تقريراً تلفزيونياً موسعاً عن ظاهرة الأقبال على شراء الدينار العراقي من المواطنين الأميركيين وشركات المال والاستثمار الأميركية والمضاربات التي باتت تشكل ملاذاً وأملاً للحالمين بالثراء السريع وطريقة لأقتناص الفرص بالنسبة لمكاتب المضاربات والإستثمارات. ونقلت صحيفة" الصباح الجديد " عن أنجيلا براون التي أعدت التقرير فان حجم المتاجرة بالدينار العراقي قد يتجاوز المليارات بحلول نهاية العام الحالي، وشهد الشهران الأولان من العام الجديد وحدهما تصاعداً ملحوظاً بلغ أكثر من 40% ذلك لأن مكاتب المتاجرة بالدينار وشركات الأستثمار في العملات باتت توظف الأحداث والمتغيرات المحلية داخل العراق في حجم توقعاتها لنمو القيمة الفعلية للدينار، وحسب براون دائماً فإن الصعود المتواصل للقيمة الحقيقية للدينار العراقي منذ انهياره أوائل العام 2003 ومن ثم أسقاط النظام السابق حتى الآن، لم تشهد تراجعاً يذكر، وبالتالي فان الأقبال على شراء الدينار بالنسبة للمستثمرين الأميركان هو عملية شبه مضمونة ولا تنطوي على أية مخاطر حقيقية، وكان الدينار العراقي يساوي 3.20 دولاراً قبل الحظر الذي فرضته الأمم المتحدة على العراق في أعقاب غزو الكويت في العام 1990، وبحلول منتصف نيسان 2003 انخفض الى ما يتراوح بين 3500 و 4000 دينار مقابل الدولار الواحد، وفي تموز 2003 أصبح الدولار الأميركى الواحد يساوى حوالى 1،500 دينار عراقي، في حين تبلغ قيمته الحالية حوالي 1168 للدولار الواحد.(مع الأخذ بنظر الأعتبار إن أسعار الصرف خاضعة للتغيير).
