Erbil, 16 September / October (Rn) - The chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Arbil, said Friday that the economic conference will be held between the Territory and Italy next Monday in Erbil with the participation of about 40 Italian company is the first of its kind will continue over the two days.

And Dara Jalil Khayat, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn), that "the expected arrival of a delegation comprising representatives of some 40 companies and 15 Chamber of Commerce Italian to Arbil on Sunday to invest in the region," adding that "will create a commercial Italian Kurdistan joint working to consolidate economic relations between the two sides. "

Khayat said that "economic conference will be held between the Territory and Italy next Monday in Erbil with the participation of the Italian delegation is the first of its kind will continue over two days."

For his part, said economic adviser at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the territorial Government Fathi Mohammed (Rn), that "it is expected to meet the Italian delegation upon arrival in Erbil, the Kurdish regional president Massoud Barzani, a key government and the Kurdistan parliament."

The Kurdistan region is witnessing economic openness made it a gateway to Iraq and the scramble foreign and Arab companies to get on the investment opportunities available as a result of privileges offered by the investment law, which was released in 2006, as well as the security situation stable.
