I googled IRS offices opened on Saturday and found out that the IRS openend offices last year as well for the same purposes. IMO, maybe perhaps this is not unusual. What do you guys think? Just wondering...........

Good idea AB. You're right. I looks like the IRS has been open on many past Saturday's.

I was almost believing this might be something since whodathought the IRS would work Saturdays if it wasn't something important.

So, Like every other weekend we hope, wait and see. We'll know soon enough.

My thought and others believe again that the IRS will work on Saturday because April 15th fell on a Friday and many people filed for a three month extension which began on Saturday the 16th. All extensions would have come due by July 15th Friday but procession would begin after midnight again on the day of July 16th... Saturday.
