Iraq and Kuwait form 4 CMTEs. Over outstanding issues

The Iraqi- Kuwaiti Joint Ministerial Committee , held its 1st session on Sunday , March 27, to discuss bilateral ties and ways of solving the outstanding issues between both countries especially Chapter Seven in the United Nations Charter.

The Iraqi side was headed by Foreign Minister Hoshiyar while the Kuwaiti side was headed by Sheikh Muhammad Sabah al- Salem , the Foreign Minister in Kuwait.

The meeting formed four technical committees to solve the aforementioned issues.

The Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al- Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah yesterday received Minister Zebari and the delegation accompanied him. The Prince expressed his full support to the efforts of the Iraqi – Kuwaiti Joint Committee in settling all outstanding issues between the two countries.

I find it rather humorous that in one day Iraq and Kuwait together can form four commitees but Iraq can't appoint three ministers in what seems like a lifetime.
