Slaydadea
Who's going to fly them? They are a long, long way off before they need that type of aircraft. I think that $900 mil could be better used feeding and providing for their people. It's nice to budget in the long term, but for now they still have plenty of outside military support to back them up. If there going to pull off any kind of recovery by 2014, the infrastructure has to be the main focus. It's good to be sitting on that much oil. I'ts not good if you can't get to the 3 new ships they plan to buy as well. It sounds to me like our Gov is trying to dump a bunch of "high time" airframes on them to turn a quick profit. Kind of like we did Israel. Flight training and parts are extra. Then you have to take into account the arsenal of weapons this plane can deliver.
