RV after GOI is seated!!!

We are all looking for an RV to happen after the government is seated because someone said that was the words of Shabibi.... Does anyone have a link or proof of this? I would love see more info on this if anyone has it, thank you in advance....GO RV 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing written in black and white saying that he will RV right after the GOI is formed....its only speculation because of certain articles posted referring to raising the value of the dinar.....but you will never see any proof or shabibi EVER saying directly about him going to raise the value of the dinar as soon as govt formed....the world would eat Iraq up alive....we can only speculate cause it seems there is nothing left after formation of govt that could hold them back.....I do believe it wont be much longer but I think we are looking at the first quarter of 2011....please shabibi prove me wrong!!

I have also been putting my expectation on the first quarter, it helps me to not be so anxious, but I am aware that it could happen by new years.

I agree with you 100 %, just wondered if somone had a link or proof because its been talked about so much and most of the Gurus are putting themselves into this corner, thanks!!!

i don't have the link but i have definately have read 2 articles where shabibbi specifically spoke of giving a new rate after the goi is seated with no holds bard.These articles were at the beginning of the year shortly afterv i joined. then another about may or june surfaced.

I have to agree with you on this one Keep. Iraq has shown a track record of slow and steady.

I've also seen him use the words "value of the dinar will increase against the USD," but have never seen the word revaluation used. Obviously, the words he HAS used can be interpreted several different ways, and therein lies the dilemma. His "2010" comments were made before the election turmoil and delays came into play, but he seemed determined that whatever changes might be made would be this year. So we wait and see.

Everything that I have read says that RV cannot happen until after the HCL is passed. It's supposed to be the first item the new government works on. Does anyone have any idea just how long it might take to pass?
