islandg758
My husband just came home last Monday from Iraq to attend his mother's funeral, and this is what I found in his wallet...This is a 20 dinar. Is this the new low denomination currency or an old one that they have had? See attached Edited November 8, 2010 by islandg758 1

Enigam
What you are looking at is a Dirham note. It is the currency of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other regions of the world. It is currently recognized and traded in the middle east. That 20 Dirham note is equivalent to $5.44. Please look at the copy and paste from www.XE.com. ds2
my wife is GM of a steak n shake and she had a service man come in just back from kuwait. she gave him the meal on the house (as she does for all servicemen and woman just getting back). they were talking dinar and he gave her a $1 kuwait dinar. it is a lot smaller than iraq's...and not as pretty.
