Baghdad, Nov. 2 (AKnews) - A leader in the Sadrist Group stated on Tuesday that the representatives of the political blocs will resolve the key and important issues soon, including the basic principles of the Security Council for strategic policies, and basic principles of the internal rules of the Ministers' council.

Moqtada al-Sadr,Muqtada al-SadrThe political blocs have agreed to hold two meetings every day, morning and evening, the first to discuss the working mechanism of the Political Council for strategic policy, while the second to discuss the internal rules of the Ministers council.

Bahaa al-Aaraji told AKnews that the political blocs reached advanced stages in discussing the key points, and the political blocs held yesterday two important meetings to study Barzani's initiative and the principle of consensus and balance... "There is a table that contain 12 points, ten of them are major points and two minor ones were added to be discussed briefly."

The Kurdistan Region's President Massoud Barzani presented an initiative to resolve the political crisis in September that stated on forming a committee that includes 8 to 12 representatives for the political blocs, to negotiate about forming the new government, and work to resolve the outstanding differences in addition to the issue of the three presidencies.

"The negotiating commissions will discuss the internal rules of the Ministers council that was proposed by al-Iraqiya list, State of Law Coalition (SLC) and Kurdistan Blocs Coalition (KBC) to bring out one paper that fit all parties as an internal practical system."

"The political blocs need five or six days to get out with unified results that could be followed by holding a parliamentary meeting."

Delaying the formation of the government raises the concerns of many Iraqis, especially with the end of combat missions for the U.S. Army, and some Iraqi leaders warned from armed groups’ intention to exploit the political vacuum, in order to bring Iraq into the circle of sectarian violence similar to the one experienced in 2006 and 2007.

The winning political blocs in the elections did not succeed so far to find solutions towards the formation of the Government, after a

political Internal and regional mobility since the ratification of the results of the elections last June.

The country is witnessing a constitutional crisis on the background of choosing the Speaker of the parliament, his deputies and the President, with the failure of the blocs to agree on the main posts.
