لانعقاد مجلس النواب وانهاء الجلسة المفتوحة

واصل نائب رئيس الجمهورية عادل عبد المهدي، الاربعاء 20-10-2010، حضوره في مبنى البرلمان، مشاركاً في ندوة حوارية خصصت لمناقشة تطوير مبادرة فخامته التي اطلقها قبل شهرين لحث اعضاء مجلس النواب للانعقاد وانهاء الجلسة المفتوحة.

وأكد فخامة النائب، خلال الندوة، التي حضرها عدد من اعضاء مجلس النواب وممثلو منظمات المجتمع المدني وشخصيات برلمانية وأكاديمية وإعلامية، أن "المهمة الأولى للتواجد بالبرلمان هو حث اعضاء مجلس النواب على عقد جلسة المجلس ليمارس دوره في التشريع والرقابة، تمهيدا لانهاء الجلسة المفتوحة والاسراع في تشكيل الحكومة الجديدة".

وأوضح نائب رئيس الجمهورية أن "هذه المهمة العاجلة يمكن ان تتحقق من خلال آليات متعددة منها متابعة الموضوع مع المحكمة الاتحادية العليا لاستحصال رأي ايجابي في هذا الاتجاه، ومنها قيام مجلس الرئاسة بدوره في حماية الدستور حيث اصدر في وقت سابق بيانا حث فيه مجلس النواب على الانعقاد"، مؤكدا انه "سيتم الحديث مع رئيس المجلس لتفعيل هذا الدور الهام، ومنها ايضا ان الرئاسة العمرية لمجلس النواب بامكانها ان تدعو الكتل السياسية وتتشاور معها في هذا الصدد".

واثنى فخامة النائب على الدور الكبير الذي قامت به منظمات المجتمع المدني من خلال حضورها وتفاعلها مع هذه المبادرة، مشيراً إلى أن "منظمات المجتمع المدني شكلت مادة رئيسية في عمل هذه الجلسات، ومنحتها الحيوية والديناميكية، وهو أمر مهم من اجل زيادة الوعي وتحسيس الرأي العام، والتواصل بين السياسيين والبرلمانيين والجمهور".

The Vice President Adel Abdul Mahdi, Wednesday 20-10-2010, his presence at the Parliament building, interactive seminar participants was allocated to discuss development initiative launched by him months ago urging members of Congress to reconvene and terminate session open.

H.e. Deputy, stressed during the Symposium, attended by a number of MPs and representatives of civil society organizations and the parliamentary and academic personalities and media, "the first task of the presence of Parliament is urging members of Congress to convene the Board to exercise its role in legislative and oversight in order to end the session open and accelerate new Government".

Vice President that "this urgent task can be achieved through various mechanisms to follow up with the Bundesgerichtshof for achieving a positive view of this trend, including the Presidency in turn protect the Constitution where earlier issued a statement urging Congress to convene, the speaker will talk to activate this important role, and also to the Chair of the House could invite political blocs and consult with them in this regard".

He praised his Excellency attorney on the large role played by civil society organizations, through their presence and their interaction with this initiative, civil society organizations formed a key article in this work, meetings and vitality and dynamism, which is important to increase awareness and sensitize public opinion, and networking among politicians, parliamentarians and the public

I believe it to state that Mahdi is trying to get congress to stop the preceedings of government vote and start over or provide him time to get the votes needed to beat Maliki.

he is asking for the current parliment to end session so as to accelerate the new govt...this is good sign to seating the next govt
