The elder Mr Bush last visited the Emirates in 2006, when he participated in the Abu Dhabi leadership summit, a gathering of influential speakers that included former foreign leaders as well as UAE officials. Mr Bush met Sheikh Khalifa, the President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. According to WAM, the state news agency, Mr Bush called the UAE's role in dealing with Middle East issues "prudent". George W Bush visited the UAE in January 2008, one stop on a tour of the Middle East. He met Sheikh Khalifa as well as Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. I searched for info about Bush Sr. being in UAE because it seemed strange that both of them are in the middle east at the same time of all the dinar chatter; and these are the screen shots of the results of the search. It seems they dropped off the "Sr" in the web address. Google probably cached the search info and never updated probably? I have seen the same with posts we do in DV too where if you change something and you google it Google will show the pre-edit info.
