{Economic: Al-Furat News} The Minister of Commerce, Atheer Daoud Al-Ghurairi, announced today, Thursday, the launch of new projects at the beginning of next year and the return of the activities of construction companies, cars and markets with new work mechanisms that serve the citizen.

Al-Ghurairi indicated during his visit to Basra Governorate and his meeting with the administrations of commercial branches, according to a trade statement, a copy of which {Al-Furat News} received, that “the Ministry is determined to put a real imprint to advance its work in accordance with the plans and programs it has established in formulating trade policy and in several directions.” The Minister stressed “the importance 
of Intensifying the supervisory role of the Commercial Control Department in monitoring markets and prices to hold some vulnerable people accountable and reduce commercial fraud. Al- 
Ghurairi pointed out that we are working today according to an economic vision by implementing what is planned in the government program and we have presented many proposals and ideas to improve services.
The Minister of Commerce directed "commercial branches to the need to take precautionary measures to preserve stocks and staff warehouses in anticipation of weather fluctuations, in addition to performing periodic maintenance of yards and sidewalks, in addition to simplifying receiving and processing procedures to maintain the regularity of processing operations."
