Apparently it means Iran wants a "piece of the financial activities in Iraq." Darn too bad for it is Basra, which receives international goods via the shipping ports.

sorry i think its bad. Iran trying to reinforce their influence.

i remember a few weeks ago reading an article where the Iraqis had denied an Iranian bank from opening in Iraq.
