ARTICLE:  Al-Sadr Comments On The Security Council Session And Provides Advice Regarding The Representative Of Iraq.

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, considered, on Tuesday, that the aspirations of the people are to form a government that is far from corruption.

Al-Sadr expressed, in a tweet to him on Twitter, “his support for the words of the participants in the Security Council session of self-restraint, calling for self-restraint & not to resort to violence & weapons from all parties.”

Al-Sadr gave advice to the UN Security Council not to listen to what the permanent representative of Iraq made at this meeting, considering that “his speech strayed from the truth in most of what it contained, with great regret.”

The UN representative in Iraq, Jenin Plasschaert, presented to the Security Council today, Tuesday, a briefing on the developments in the country.

She said that “the political differences in Iraq have affected the citizens because it is not possible to predict their end,” noting that “the political class in Iraq is unable to resolve the crisis.”
