{Local: Al Furat News} The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, confirmed, today, Sunday, that Iraq is looking forward to strengthening balanced relations based on common interests and cooperation to confront the crises of terrorism, the economy and climate change.

And his media office stated in a statement received by {Euphrates News} that "the President of the Republic received the Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, the credentials of the ambassadors of Kuwait, Tariq Abdullah Al-Faraj, Denmark, Christian Turning, and the Netherlands, Johannes Lindert Sande," stressing, "During his reception of the ambassadors separately, Iraq looks forward to the support of the international community, establishing balanced relations based on common interests, strengthening political, economic and commercial cooperation, and overcoming differences through dialogue. 

He pointed out that "there are common global and regional challenges that require cooperation and joint coordination, most notably combating terrorism and cross-border extremism, addressing economic fluctuations and health crises, and confronting severe climate changes."

The President expressed his wishes for the new ambassadors to succeed in performing their new duties, in a way that enhances friendship and cooperation relations between Iraq and their countries.

For their part, the ambassadors extended their thanks and appreciation to the President of the Republic, expressing their countries' aspiration to strengthen relations with Iraq in various fields in a way that enhances joint ties.
