Tehran threatens to close the Strait of Hormuz again

Hossein Shariatmadari, editor-in-chief of the Iranian newspaper "Kayhan" affiliated with the office of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, said that there is a need to close the Strait of Hormuz to Korean ships by Iran.

The newspaper pointed out that "the Strait of Hormuz is the world's most oil-exporting straits, as nearly 18 million barrels of oil pass through it daily, which is equivalent to 42 percent of the oil traded in the world daily.
